No issue will download past 37 for me     Not working for me

When I first started using this app when it first came out I thought this is the best idea to come out in a long time digital INTERACTIVE issues of my all time favorite game mag complete with videos and trailers of all the newest games Well the new issues are so FEW and FAR between that its like a JOKE REALLY If youre not going to support this app then why are you still making it available You guys havent released any thing new in 6 months Also its not just this time The last several issues came out several months apart What is this just a part time project for you that you only get around to when you feel like it Dont even bother     Never any new issues

I love this format I gave the app 5 stars because its amazing But 4 of the last 5 issues have issues downloading they get to about 44 or so and stop there I deleted the app and reinstalled it once before but now the back issues are doing the same thing Please get this fixed I love this app and recommend it to my friends but I always warn them that the issues may not download                 Download problems

I have tried downloading the application several times with resets and hard restarts before opening the app but every time the app opens I get the Online connection necessary message I am connected to the Internet and able to watch videos etc but the app does not want to recognize the connection The app support link in the app store is no use either as it takes you to the magazines support section with a message stating nothing found For now this app is very poorly executed and it is a shame I love their content but this needs to be fixed     Connectivity Issues

Where are the promised back issues of the old EGM It just looks like they gave up on this Thanks for nothing     Good conceptpoor execution

This app takes forever to download issues And you have to keep the app open just to download the issue which often takes 15 minutes to download They should hook this up with apple news stand        Slow

Great app with great content The presentation and navigation is intuitive and well done You will get that fifth star however when I can start an issue download and go do something else on the iPad while it loads so I dont have to stare at a progress meter for 5 minutes Really love it though other than that              Love It

The only problem I encounter is slow downloads If you can update so I can can view the pages I have downloaded and download only segments I want to read Going for it is all is FREE Awesome              Im in love but

As a subscriber to the print edition I would expect full access to the latest digital editions They are nowhere to be found     Missing new content

Videos dont seem to be working since the iOS 5 updateplease fix soon I need me some EGM digital                 Five stars but

I absolutely love this app When its working My downloads constantly get interrupted and freeze at various percentages Please fix as I thoroughly enjoy the App           5 star app with 0 star functionality

This monthly magazine isnt updated monthly Last issue was July 2nd now its August 25th Would be a great product if it came out more often or on time        Monthly

I like EGM and very much wanted to like this app Unfortunately the issues take forever to download if they download at all Free magazines are great and all but they dont do a lot of good if you cant download and read them If the download process were smoother and more efficient think The Daily then this would be a 5 star app Until then stick to the newsstands     Sure its free but

Videos do not work in iOS 5 and it needs to be updated to be newsstand up     iOS 5 says hello

This worked before the update but now I cant download anything keeps getting an error But this is a very good app                 Wont download

Unless you keep the screen awake and stay on the download screen without going to another app issue downloads fail and say that your Internet connection was interrupted it wasnt     Issues will not download

This app works well and the digital magazine is not bad However being that this is a magazine why is their a requirement to have Internet access in order to open the app and view the magazine Until this is address I will not pay for any issues are give a better rating I tend to read magazine when Im traveling and most of the time I do not ave access to the internet     Need offline mode

Its so fitting to read EGMi on the iPad It just has a much better presentation than reading it on the computer Ive thoroughly enjoyed every issue Ignore the idiots that cant use this app properly To delete an issue just touch the green check box on that particular issue then tap the red X Simple For those complaining about the issues not downloading stop switching to other apps and let it finish the download                 Perfect on the iPad

The free content is great nice to have a weekly dose of EGM If theres a way to delete issues I cant find it The app ends up becoming enormous in size and I usually have to delete it and reinstall it to clear out back issues Newsstand compatibility would be nice too           Needs some tweaking

Where are the new digital issues promised to accompany all print subscriptions Where is Retina support EGM once ruled all video game media now theyve become a joke I will not be renewing     New Content Retina Support

This provides access to the EGMi issues pretty cool some interface issues aside but theres no place yet to subscribe and get the full EGM in digital form Also this should be integrated into the iOS Newsstand           Good access to EGMi no print

So I used the EGMi iPad app hit the subscribe button and baud for 12 print and 52 digital issues Go through the registration process and after all was said and done No bloody digital issues You have to go to the egmnow website and read issues there It requires Flash which means the iPad I used to click subscribe on and purchase with isnt even supported Ridiculous Absolutely ridiculous Maybe I would expect such silliness from chicken and cattle quarterly but EGM covers games and technical topics They dont even make it clear that the digital issues wont run on the iPad You dont find out until the end when you are out the money and unable to read the issue     Bait and switch

No new issue in over a month     Blah

Wheres the 2012 digital issue Its almost the end of January Other then that this magazine is very informative and one of the best long running ones in print              Great mag

Recently subscribed to EGM for a full year I really enjoy premium digital content on their website But I spend far more time on my iPad then I do my PC I thought this app would grant me the same content by logging in Dont get me wrong the free content is great if you are not a subscriber I just would like to see a premium version as well with videos and whatnot Perhaps its in the works It should be Been Gaming for a long time and its good to have EGM back Great content and their opinions and reviews are not based on advertising dollars or exclusives granted by publishers and developers So many publications are unethical and it shows                 Would like Premium version

Ive been a fan of EGM for over 10 years now and its great to see them moving with the times One problem though is there a way to delete issues youve downloaded and read This app is starting to take up some serious space                 Wonderful app

Its a good start How about giving us full featured issues instead of the minimalistic digital ones currently offered Also how about integrating it with the iPads native Newsstand app Im willing to pay for the subscription right away if these two points are addressed              Give us more

I am a long time reader of EGM Since the relaunch something just seemed off Now with the review of Zelda getting knocked for having perfect controls I am done I have purchased my last print issue and am deleting this app immediately     Terrible reviews

egm didnt warn me that the digital issues require flash if I had known that I would not have subscribed Theres an app for iPad obviously and you can subscribe and pay via iPad but only after you pay you realize you cannot read the issues from the iPad Marketing at its best Last buck egm will ever get out of me     Read before you buy

Connection interruptions still reign Waste of time babysitting the download percentage bar I really really want to read their material too As a loooong time reader of EGM I am very disappointed     Fails

EGM is without a doubt one of the best gaming magazines available Unfortunately their digital edition is hampered by this miserable excuse for an app offering only extremely truncated issues that are often MONTHS behind on news and information this app is a complete waste Why theyre not offering the entire print issue through the app or supporting newsstand is beyond me I sincerely want to keep up my subscription with EGM because they simply have consistently better content and stories than most of their competitors but because this app is so terrible and there is no satisfactory way to read the magazine on my iPad I will not be renewing my subscription     Such a shame

It was a great app but they badly need an update for iOS 5 use Videos wont load and its more prone to crash Also there doesnt seem to be a way to internally delete issues This is a big problem with disk space a premium on iPads Get this app fixed for this generation and it will be back to 5 stars The content on EGM is great        Needs an update badly

The magazine takes forever to download no matter my location or connection speed And it always gets interrupted for no apparent reason No background downloading is a pain The magazine is nice but hardly worth the tedious waiting game to download Deleted        Too slow to download ALWAYS interrupted

The fact that you get this level of writing and the wonderful layouts for free is very impressive Id love to see Newsstand support Id even pay for it but thats just being nitpicky                 Excellent app

Tried this app Downloaded a few magazines and it was fine then it STOPPED completing downloads Removed and reinstalled and it Again worked for a few magazines but now has stopped completing downloads When it works the magazines are great but when it doesnt its frustrating to watch download attempt after download attempt stop for no apparent reason at 34 or 37 completion           Loads stop why

To delete an issue just touch the green checkmark on an issue and a red x will appear giving you the option to delete                 Delete

Latest issue is unreadable due to scrolling issues in the text Updates seem to be more frequent lately but who knows what their plan actually is For a digital magazine the content tends to be pretty outdated No retina support is just ridiculous at this point I fully support what theyre attempting to do which is what earns the 2nd star because they are so far falling short        Broken issues infrequent updates no retina support

Ive been using this since it was first available In the beginning it was great Good content and a nice app design For the past few months though the app has become useless due to a complete inability to deliver content Most of the time the app fails to even start a download When it does it fails to complete a download Ive been unable to download an issue in months I hope they fix it EGM is a great magazine and this app was a great extension Right now though its useless     Was great now useless

Weve had a long history You were part of my growing up I read your magazines at the newsstand as soon as they came out Id hop on my bike and ride to my local grocery store and spend an hour or two reading the magazine and looking at screenshots Once I was old enough to work I became a loyal subscriber I looked forward to checking the mail in hopes of a new issue being there Something happened after that Life I believe I moved on in a way but every now and then I would wonder what happened to EGM I never stopped playing games but I did stop buying magazines Having to store all the back issues and drag them with me became too much to deal with I trashed all my back issues and went all digital several years ago Here we are 2011 I have an 88mm sheet of aluminum and glass and I can get EGM delivered to it wirelessly and paperless Its brilliant and about damned time Im excited to see what you guys will do with the iPad This is how I want all of my magazines Crits The design could use a little tweaking and standardizing The issues are a little large and take quite some time to download I dont know what you can do about that but Im sure there is a solution Also charge me for it I will pay for good content as long as my money goes towards improving the digital magazine and paying writers Thanks for reading if you did                 Oh EGM

Great looking appmagazine Nice videos but app crashes or docent even start over half the time I have to power down my IPad just to hope it starts           I enjoy it BUT

Running app on an iPad 2 with the latest software and the app continues to give me an error message Awesome     Doesnt Work

The videos no longer play since upgrading to iOS5 Hope a fix comes soon           iOS5 problems
