It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.3 has been released on 2014-11-26. There is a wealth of information to share within the fire service and I very much appreciate FR1 being a large source of dispersing that information However this app does need an update Normally I would give an app this outdated a 1 or 2 star but I choose to be more accommodating to others within our service so I gave it a 3 I would definitely change to a 5 star with an update that would fill the entire screen of the iPhone 5 s and newer             Update Best free in a while
