Fly Fishing 3D Free

Got bored really quick I deleted it and one of the reasons was how unrealistic it was I was expecting a good game but it was hard to play and unrealistic     Blaaaaaaaaa

Forewarned this will be a long review Let me say that this game took ALOT of trial an error when I first download it I did not catch any fish for weeks even months and I couldnt get the casting correctly I agree with many of the other reviews it is not quite beginner friendly When I actually picked up real fly fishing I began to understand a lot more and was able to bring that knowledge to this game which improved my fish catching by knowing what flies to use in the different river or lake settingsThe casting still is a challengebut I am getting better I am able to catch 23 fish with the time limit which isnt great however what do you expect for the free version The graphics are goodbut not too realistic Its a good attemptbut definitely can be better I hope they add more levels fish maybe brook trout salmon bass crappies perch and muskies flies terrestrials agitatorsetc rods regular vs specialized and line weights and gear waders vests hats floatantetc to make the game more enjoyablerealistic help improve fishing and have the option to personalize the fly fishing avatar Also maybe give the fish a bit more animation Maybe have some that are rising to the surface so you can hint of using a dry fly and some that are moving toward the bottom Even make some spots deep so you cant actually see the fish to make it more challenging and forcing the player to use intuition Overall its a good attempt at a beautiful sport It makes me want to go out fish all the timeand try to catch a real fish There is still plenty of room for improvementbut this is the only realistic fly fishing game in the app store Kudos for trying           Great time killer for the real fly fisherman or woman

The game had way to many ads in it I couldnt even play the game without hitting a ad and get transferred to the internet So I just got rid of the app     Game review

u get 1 minute to try and catch 5 fish i had my first fish almost had him on shore and it didnt count because time was up more fishing time please and you cant stop casting that is a big problem i flick my wrist and it casts 4evr really bad dont get     boo

This game is really good I had this game for a year now but before I caught my first fish I had trouble But once they updated it to catch a fish more easily it was way better For those who cannot catch a fish on this app try try try I failed tons of times but I kept trying Then I finally got a fish From then on it was WAY easier Make sure that your line doesnt break and keep your line tension low If you bring it higher it will break About the casting try this so to keep on casting just keep the device forward and when you want it to stop this works if you do it correctly just flick it backward Bye the way I also agree that they should give more that just a minute Maybe like an hour or more Anyway I hope this helped you all Cat                 Awesome

I am getting so pist I would love this game if it werent for getting a fish to bite and never being able to set the hookim doing exactly what it tells me        Meh

Upgraded from free game to paid version and nothing has changed still has adverts and 1 level of game play from boat No other options Looks promising but beware of upgrade option as it appears not to work     Upgraded but still stuck with Free game

Time limit Plus I couldnt catch one fish Total garbage    

I clicked to download it and it didnt even download I went back to the ap store and all it says is open on the ap site I tried to search for it on the device and it doesnt even show up     Download issue

Played it for about 2 minutes If the terrible 1980s Atari sound track wasnt bad enough I hit buttons and nothing happens Dont bother with this one     Horrible

Really bad First off it should be in portrait mode for better casting realism In landscape mode its almost impossible to hold the phone with one hand Furthermore when you fly fish you make several casts back and forth while letting additional line out before setting the fly down in the water In this game you get one backward cast before setting it down And why cant I turn the annoying music off independent of the sound effects Thus game was clearly designed by people who have no idea what fly fishing is about     Not realistic

This game has a basic grasp on fly fishing Theyve got the drifts theyve got the casting right yes people in small streams you normally dont make big back casts and theyve got the idea in trying different lures to tempt different fish in a different area But I would like to see an improved fighting system so that you dont reel out unrealistic but you just let the fish tear our line Id also like to see rigs instead of individual flies You also need to get rid of that really annoying background music And finally fix the bugs Im trying to catch fish not bugs Thats what Id like to see personally And no currently with all the bugs and lag I wouldnt recommend this game    

Downloaded on my new iPhone 6 and now the game crashes at launch I loved the game on my old 4s              No iOS 8

This is one of the worst iPhone games I have played so far The controls are counter intuitive if you actually flyfish if the designer fishes at all it is with a worm The help menus are terrible All in all I would like the time back I put into trying to make this work It is bad enough that after 2 years I am finally writing a negative review normally I just delete and move on     Dont waist your time
