Clearly a considerable amount of time and attention to detail went into creating this app It s easy to use and you don t need WiFi to use it As the developer recommends follow the instructions to backup your data This is probably one of my favorite apps I love it                     Outstanding job on this app Javajunkie48

I have used Gun Log for 2 years now and love it I enter every shooting session Gun Log permits the tracking od all kinds of information I use to track only some of the categries of information a professional or competition shooter would use more It track ammo too It keeps track of rounds on hand for every caliber and manufactuer Gun Log keeps track of all me guns purchase sale inprovements added rounds fired serial numbers etc lots of other features many more than I use and too many to describe here Gun Log is a great app It s very adaptable to one s desired level of record keeping I show it to friends and people at the range and highly recommend it                     Great app for tracking gun stuff Hichael

Still love the app I have entered many firing sessions and sets all with photos of the targets There hasn t been any trouble When picking ammo if you don t see it just turn off the Caliber switch and select All My bet is that anyone having trouble as either accidentally entered a different name for the caliber than what is listed with the firearm or they accidentally entered the wrong amount of ammo purchased or used in a session Read how the app works on the support site or email them They will help you I know that the app hasn t lock up for me                     Works Great Just learn how to use it Laconious

Really like this app but disappointed that you can t sync with a website so you can have the logs on your phone as well as your iPad Seems like a pretty simple option to me Really like how it tracks your sessions and your ammo inventory Come in guys I d pay extra for the ability to have the app on my phone and my iPad and sync between to two             Good but not great jakecarey

I get a lot of usage out of this app It very much appeals to my sense of record keeping I m glad I don t have a large collection or I d be draining my phone battery with all the data entry Nice layout hits all the high points I could wish for a report that might just show totals of money spent for the guns themselves and then accessories Then again maybe I wouldn t want to know how much I ve been spending Also I reload ammo I d like a way to keep track of that data as well Anyway great app Thank you very much                     Great app JGS1955

Don t waste your time on this app I was able to enter 2 sessions and it worked excellent The 3rd session it let s me add firing set but will not allow ammo to be selected from what I have on hand Too bad because the app was great for the first 2 sessions Back to pad and paper     Worked for 2 Sessions then locks up HomebrewJim

This is a great app that has potential It has a complete gun and maintenance log ammo log The ability to select ammo and load it into a specific gun and get a ballistic chart for it and then create a range report with photos all in the palm of your hand No need for net book and range book any more Just a cheap wind meter with temp is helpful and chrono your ammo for better results                 Great app Hungry Rampage

I ve also been using Gun Log for several years and love the fact that I can organize all my firearms and ammunition Since it s all at home in my safe I like to know how much 40 S W I already have when I find it on sale I also love the capability of logging so much information about my guns including upgrades such as trigger springs and extractors and purchased price and date It also has a place for sale price and date but I ll never use that                     FIrearm Organization At It s Best QFrasier

This App is great for documenting your firearms collection electronically and takes it a step further in allowing you to record ballistics from your shooting sessions It would be great to add a barcode scanner for adding ammunition but that would be the cherry op top Very pleased Once you spend the time taking an inventory of all your firearms and ammo it s great to be able to recall the info when you are at the store especially when it comes to remembering what you paid for the ammo when you last purchased it Highly recommend                     Great App exactly what I wanted Larsliche

I ve been trying to find a good way to store my firearm inventory information for a long time I ve tried spreadsheets database apps and everything else you can think of Then I found Gun Log It keeps EVERYTHING I need to store on my collection including pictures Easy to use easy to update Only gripe is I can t print a text file straight from my iPad but that s a very small gripe Love it                     Great App Fortcourage

The earlier version was useful for keeping a file of your weapons ammo etc Easier to use than setting up a file in FileMaker Go But would have been nice if they warned you to back up the file before downloading the new version I just did that and all of my records disappeared No guns no ammo no range sessions no nothing Not sure I want to bother re entering all that stuff             OK until I loaded the new version Rodenator

This is a great app It could use a few enhancements for the long range or tactical shooter like ballistics past 1000 yards and a place to input temp Also a way to view actual trajectory or drop by range using data already input A few days after posting this comment the developer implemented some of the suggestions I think that says a lot about their service This is a great app You will enjoy it                     Good app getting better Grant Bryant

I previously wrote a poor review on this software I lost all of my data in this app on a restore After a lot of help from the app developer AND a lot of patience on his part I discovered i was at fault because I did not have my back up saved in a separate folder I got great advice and sincere help from the developer The reason for my poor review is that I was accumulating a lot of useful data and records Plus this app catalogs your inventory for insurance and historical tracking of purchases and sales of everything guns It was very frustrating loosing your statistics So I m starting over this time with the correct backup methodology If your a shooter this app is worth the couple of bucks Its a bargain for the features it possesses                 Retraction Kim Roe

Gun Log is by far and away the best app of its type I have come across It has something for everyone collectors reloaders hunters competitive shooters or the casual enthusiast There is a method to track your firearms your ammo you shooting sessions maintenance of your weapons you name it there is a way to track it There is even a category for your accessories like scopes cases etc I have made an extensive search of the App Store and this is the only app that does it all There has been some past criticism that the program doesn t print or email or connect to the Cloud As I understand it this is for security reasons and I really appreciate the fact that my firearm info is more isolated from the grid If I do need a report for things such as insurance I have been able to use the backup feature on my desktop for this program to create what I need Thus I find that criticism somewhat lacking in merit though there are those that want such a feature and no disrespect to them I just like the disconnect in today s somewhat charged climate If you want an easy way to track your firearms keep track or your shooting sessions rounds put down range rounds reloaded whatever I highly recommend this app Like I said I find it to truly be the best one out there Simply outstanding                     Simply Outstanding Phyrman9

I love this app and have my guns all entered in it A lot of the reviews criticize it for not allowing you to upload to iCloud emailing or printing This is actually done to protect the user from having the serial numbers of your firearms compromised Anytime that info is uploaded or emailed it can be hacked Especially in this political climate when we have the IRS and gov t spying on citizens it s important to keep that info private Putting your entire business and life on Facebook for the world to see is one thing but putting out your firearms info out there is not a good idea                     Great app and keeps privacy Tatman

I like the concept of this app It has robust feature set like reporting But after entering all data on ipad I have no way to move it to my iphone It also looks like I will lose all data if I upgrade my OS or upgrade to new device since there is no cloud storage There is also no way to get hard copy All my work is now tied to a single device Cant even upgrade without losing everything I understand security implications but for people without iTunes this app is useless because of no backup Perhaps encrypted cloud storage would be an option         Spent time typing data in ipad no data in iphone notsureiffry

I bought the application after checking it out and on a friends recommendation Being the security conscious person that i am i quickly enabled the password feature but in my hast i managed to lock myself out I sent off a quick email to support thinking it would be a day or so before i would hear anything back However this was not the case Within an hour of my submitting the request not only did i get a response but had a working solution for my issue Now that s service I ve been slowly adding in each of my items and i really like the layout and ease of use Its not an app i use everyday but it is nice knowing that i have up to date info on my firearms should i need immediate access to serial numbers                     Great application great support USEMarty

I really like the app Works well for inventory of guns only con is the cancel button is live all the time and very close to picture button have had on more than one occasion to slightly miss the picture button and lose all the recorded info on that gun My suggestion would be add a second command to cancel and move the cancel button further away from picture button Thanks great product have recommended it to several shooting buddies                     Possible improvement cvgconstruction

What an awesome application I have been using it constantly since last July It has been my shooting companion every time I shoot I use it to log my firearms ammo and photos of my targets It has been great to keep notes on my progress either with shooting development or ammo accuracy I can t say enough of how useful this program is I have purchased all three of this developers applications and they are all excellent I was having some technical issues and the developer quickly fixed the problem Don t even think about it purchase this app immedaitley                     Great Application Highly reccomended tomjow
