After installing and setting up ibank to sync with the site needed for ibank investor to sync with ibank ibank started to crash on shutdown I also feel this should be part of the iBank app and not a standalone app Very inconvenient Not worth all the trouble it caused I removed the app and turned of the sync to ibank investor in ibank Also somewhat concerned about the security of my data going to banks site     Caused iBank to crash on shutdown

Ive been using this app for a while and only recently got it working properly The most important thing to know when syncing with iBank for Mac is that if you have an investment which doesnt have a ticker symbol it must be categorized as Precious Metal in iBank for Mac Only then will iBank Investor sync properly and accurately reflect Yahoo quotes and manually entered prices Before I discovered this Investor would randomly scramble my holdings and the valuations were way off This is a bug that I learned about while browsing through the IGG support forums and not all the tech support people seem to know about it as I had unsuccessfully tried to troubleshoot the problem with one of them before stumbling on the apparent fix Id bet this bug is frustrating many users and should be a sticky or FAQ on the IGG website           Works when properly configured

Have used this app for a little over a month on iPad iPhone covering 5 different portfolio accounts No problems thus far and am very pleased                 Multiple Portfolios

Every time I try to create an account it says the server is down No help files on their site Fail     Cant create account

It doesnt transfer items properly from iBank5 Within an investment account not all stocks transfer Doesnt transfer current prices properly Shows 000 for items that in iBank have the right price Not quite ready for prime time        Not worth it right now

What good is an app that doesnt let you access and update right from your brokeragebank account This is not even up to the standard of what yahoo started providing on their homepage more than 10 years ago Total waste of time     App provides less than Yahoo finance forget it

This app once served me well and has good potential but is currently basically useless and getting worse and the developer has basically abandoned it Its very buggy it completely locks up when opening doing what should be a completely simple task of downloading the latest quotes But until thats finished what was once 2030 seconds is now almost 60 the app freezes and is useless until after the delay Developer hasnt updated it in forever has never fixed any of the major bugs and just seems to not care about it anymore It looks absolutely absurd in iOS 8 as well as on the new larger devices Do NOT pay the upgrade to remove the ads     Useless and slow and developer no longer cares about app

Ive owned this app for YEARS I do see that theyll eventually be coming out with another version I havent even so much as opened this app in 8 months due to the lack of synchronization and thus development for years and various iOS versions Their solution Come out with a new app Heres the rub And rub it wrong me does BUT theyre going to charge I get that development cost money BUT the discounted price will be available to everyone not just existing customers     Poor app bad new implementation to come

I use iBank investor to sync with iBank on the Mac It does this very well and is really good at showing me daily details I manage my portfolios on the Mac though so issues such as stock splits are nonissues for me This app does need an update though both for iOS 8 and for the iPhone 6 screen sizes Otherwise I am very happy with this app              Good App Needs an update

The iBank software has parts that work well but others not so much And if you want direct access downloads be prepared for additional subscription fees monthly     Be Careful

This app only shows stock balances and not the value of all your accounts and assets Wish it had more reporting and reporting measures of both your stocks and portfolios        Very basic

I have only one fund to watch but this thing is just what I was looking for Type in number of shares your investment and it does the rest figuring your cost share and gain or loss at the moment Formerly with MarketWatch by computer you never knew if you were going to access your profile or not                 IBank investor

Ive been looking for an app to track my stocks by allotment Exactly what I needed                 Works great

I purchased a year ago synced twice then the app failed to download ever since The second sync was even inaccurate I also got it for my iPhone it too didnt work I have attempted to remedy the situation since but have been unsuccessful I have come to the conclusion that the folks at ibank are not invested in this product Not sure why as they charge a fee for it Not going to spend any more time on it I use another app sigfig to track stocks which is much better and give great data and feedback even better than my brokers     synced twice then stopped

Dont bother Syncing failed after several days Before that stock symbols were not recognized properly So this app is worthless     Nope

A great simple and free display of your current holdings I find this app to be great to check up on my portfolio without having to log into my brokerage account                 Great to quickly review holdings

Used to serve my purpose well However this app will not pick up a stock split when it happens It will continue reportingevaluating shares based on original share price and it will not adjust number of shares iBank on the Mac shows the correct number of shares but this app will not pick this up after sync even after deleting a sync and re syncing fresh remember this app depends on iBank for Mac for what it shows This app has become useless to me since it no longer provides an accurate snapshot of my holdings I emailed the developer some two weeks ago about the problem but never received a response or explanation although their system acknowledged receipt of my email Very frustrating but they have a history of letting customers down     Frustrating

Im failing to see the usefulness of this app I use iBank on my Mac and love it and this app syncs with iBank more on that in a minute but it doesnt keep any of my folder groupings of accounts and it doesnt allow me to manually enter security prices Its basically just a portfolio tracker with no way to build test portfolios Also no IRR calculations which is also a significant shortcoming of iBank for Mac I guess its free so not much to complain about there I am a little concerned with the sync system though which seems to go through IGGsofts servers as far as I can tell there is no way to sync without doing so There are a lot of privacy issues associated with this and I couldnt find anything on IGGs website to address these Also once I created the account and synced I realized that there is no way to delete the account from IGGs servers           Why do I need this

Dont waste your time using this app I could not get it to sync with iBank which is the only benefit of using it As such there are other much more robust apps if you have to manually add investments When this is fixed I could reconsider     Dont waste your time

I can use any number of apps to track my investments The true value in this app would be full integration with the iBank app I already use iBank to track my expenses and account balances and there is a component of iBank that shows me the current cash balance in my investment account Why not have this as part of the iBank app rather than separate It doesnt make any sense to me     Should be part of iBank

As a loyal fan of iBank I sadly report that this app is both pitiful and useless The functionality belongs in iBank itself perhaps as a paid addon Then as others have reported the security concerns of having your holdings pass thru their servers to sync Finally dont be stupid as I was to pay to remove ads Imagine my surprise on launching the app tonight on my iPad that removing ads on the iPhone doesnt remove them there as well There are many better alternatives AVOID THIS     Lame excuse

The app is called ibank but its only market investments when I think of Ibank I think of a banking system and portfolio manager with no actual money or linkage to a real account           Lets make this more interesting

Igg software should remove this or at least make it free This looks like an app made for my iPhone 3G iBank should be embarrassed     Embarrasement

Now that the iBank app is working for me this app us now working too It does what it says it will do but it leaves me wanting more ie historical charts news feeds volume PE yield etc Its a good start to what could be a very useful app Please keep at it           Good start

I used iBank Investor for free for a few days and liked it so much I gladly paid 499 to make it banner adfree This app provides realtime info on the value of your individual stocks as well as your total portfolio Besides providing basic stats such as volume daily high and low opening price etc it also gives news headlines for each stock Plus it calculates your daily gain or loss as well as your overall portfolio total gain or loss A musthave for the individual investor                 Very Useful App

I have been looking for something like this for iPhone iPad for some time There are other good ones out there Im sure but I wanted something that integrates with my financial management software I dont want to have to set up my entire portfolio and update it every time it changes I started using iBank on the desktop since Intuit gave up supporting the Mac This is an excellent companion to that My portfolio gets synced to my devices and I have a really nice interface to see at a glance what is going on at any given time Good work IGG An update six months later I still like the app but Ive found a minor problem that can be a significant source of irritation When you start it up whether initially or if you switch to another app and come back to it the app fetches a price update Thats great except that the app is completely unresponsive during the update you cant scroll you cant check anything You have to wait for the update to finish If you have a lot of stocks to update that can take a lot of time if youre on a good WiFi network If youre on 3G forget it Please IGG put the update process into a separate thread              Nicely done But one irritation
