Idea Store

Whenever I needed to write something down quickly I usually grabbed the nearest scrap of paper or an old envelope Now I dont do that anymore thanks to this app It also helps me organize the info until I can file it away somewhere Ive been using it since I bought my iPhone and its never let me down no crashes or lost info I love it                 No more scraps of paper

Not sure why I expected more Just for very simple notes that can be grouped Cannot use this for building on ideas and creating detailed or complex plans If you are a dreamer who never goes beyond the wouldnt it be great if stage this could be all you need But the list of features is minuscule for the rather high price Fooled me but dont let it fool you        Too simple

The thing to keep in mind about Idea Store and what makes it different from things like Evernote is that it is a one trick pony but it does that one trick perfectly it lets you record and organize ideas Its not a note taker list maker or anything else just an idea storehouse I use it primarily for tracking ideas for writing projects for which it does gang busters The two features that really make it utilitarian though are dropbox data sync so you can use the app across iDevices and the ability to archive either individual ideas or entire idea categories The name really says it all Dont expect Evernote and youll be thrilled with this app                 Great for tracking ideas

This is saving my sanity For whatever reason its helped me separate IDEAS POTENTIAL TASKS from ACTIONABLE tasks in a way that other even very similar tools havent One feature thats really important is the simplicity of the Flagging for whether or not an idea has been read OR if youve read it but you want to come back to it Regarding the persons review about it not auto syncing and maybe I dont understand it as well it seems to me that it is syncing whenever I am doing any action like adding editing flagging etc However I do agree with their comments regarding not being able to automatically sync the notes in plain text files to Dropbox so that they can be viewed and edited easily from any text editor on any device              Almost perfect5 stars easily achieved by dev doing one thing

Didnt realize how many great ideas I was having that I was not following up on because I was forgetting them This simple program makes it so easy to gather bunches of ideas over time that I can combine expand on or weed out There more I use it the more valuable it seems to me Thanks for a great program                 Suprisingly useful

There are apps that allow user to do more with more complicated structure but ease of use and quick entry take me back to this one Also why I use Check                 One of my favorite apps

This app has a lot of potential First off the individual notes are really cool But the user interface could take advantage of swiping gestures of the iPad Instead of opening a note on a separate page why not be able to swipe down to reveal the entire note Also there definitely should be a way to rearrange notes in addition to deleting them And finally lets have an option to change color background of the app Thanks           Good startbut

Im fairly new to ieverything and certainly not techie but Ive been using this app for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it What prompted me to write was a few comments I saw about syncing This app syncs instantly on both phone and pad when I open the app Im clueless enough to not know exactly how that happens no laughing but it does it without pushing any buttons I just originally followed the setup instructions and its been working like a charm ever since The uses for this app are limitless and it is the most organized place Ive found for jotting down those spurofthemoment sales speech creative family and personal ideas notes etc that would otherwise be lost in the next 60seconds Thank you for this app I just went to the developers web page to see if they had anything else as I find this one so reliable and useful                 One of my favorite apps

Its easy it write this app off as redundant in terms of its functionality but it is wonderfully elegant Uncluttered Also you end up appreciating that there is value in putting your high level ideas in a place thats different from your other notes daytoday stuff etc Well done                 I love this app

This is a very simple and well structured app I need to organize my thoughts and also notes from articles and books when I am researching a topic Ill be writing about Rather than rely on 3x5 cards or some other clunky way of keeping track of my notes this app lets me easily label and categorize notes so I can easily refer back to them Just perfect thank you                 Fantastic app great for organizing research notes

I like this app Its good for capturing ideas quickly and keeping them organized To that end Id like to see an option for it to load directly to a new note page all set and ready for a new entry When Ive got something to jot down Id like to not have to navigate from a home page to Entries to new The Dropbox integration is TERRIBLE It is undependable crude and clunky           Useful but

Beautiful app aesthetically functionally Didnt know I needed it until I started using it I was cluttering my todo list with ideas and it makes so much more sense to put them here first before they turn into tasks If you are the type of person to write everything down you need this app The syncing is just about the quickest and smoothest Ive seen between my iPad and iPhone                 Perfect

Cannot reorder notes Cannot move or copy a note to another group Cannot email a group of notes Implement these changes and Ill give IS five stars but right now its just not that great        Nice but quite limited

This app has been great for the past 3 years that Ive had it but it is suddenly not accepting my passcode I have never changed it so I am beyond 100 sure Im typing it in right I cant lose all of those ideas     Help

One of the few apps that Ive consistently used over the years since I first downloaded it The most recent update is Awesome Its so satisfying to see an app youve been using for so long finally come into the best that it can be the ideal potential form you saw in it at the earliest stages Idea Store finally reached fruition per the best potential I saw in it And its very nice to see happen Funny enough its still just as simple as always As it should be I use it to collect scattered thoughts or jot down stuff that pops into my head Basically if you have a snippet of text that you may or may not want later stick it in Idea Store Its not an intensive organizer Its not for the finished final product Its for thoughts in the raw jot down your idea and go Maybe youll need it later Maybe youll forget about it for years Idea Store is for the scraps of thoughts youd quickly jot down on a napkin or post it Just more organized                 Idea Store Is The Best

Idea store is a great simple and to the point app to put you ideas however it only allows text and thus is a bit limited It would be nice to see in future updates the ability to actually draw out ideas and insert pictures to complement and build on ideas rather than the app only acting as sort of starting point for your ideas At this point it will only copy the image web address rather than the image itself              Decent place to put your ideas but a little limited

Surprisingly I just found this app Its been awhile since you updated but if you decide to do so again please think of adding a couple things iCloud sync Google Drive sync Open in so people can send notes to a number of different apps                 Simple Clean Organized Great App

Im in love with this app I really am I write down my thoughts a lot and the notes app is just way too messy This is exactly what I was looking forsimple calm colors and interface and very organized                 Perfect

I like the simplicity of this app I dont like however how long it takes to load and actually get to the screen where I can add a new note Perhaps the devs could consider an option in the settings to allow us to set the screen we want app to open to           Its all right on the right track

Im enjoying the app thus far but there does seem to be some limitations on the apps usefulness Now it stream for getting down quick ideas when I have them but a notetaking app could do the same just about as well Dont get me wrong I like the way this app handles quick ideas The other major criticism I have is the skeuomorphism of the interface Id love to see Idea Store updated with the beautifully minimalist interface of iOS 7 With an update that adds some features and overhauls the UI itll be a daily use app for sure              Simple but useful

I found this app to be an excellent tool to post my favorite quotes that I see or hear I can group them by categories as well Although this app was meant to jot down ideas it has so many other uses 10 stars                 Other Purposes

Would be great if the developer indicated something about their roadmap Is there any plan to add features If so what I really like the simplicity of the app clean interface and the ability to organize ideas It would be great if there were some improvements to how text is captured This could come in the form of TextExpander support additional keys to the keyboard or a url scheme that could be used by capture apps like Drafts Either markdown support or a custom display format like DayOne would be helpful to structure ideas and information Additional export options that make cloud syncing more automatic and convenient would also be welcome It would be nice to know that ideas stored could be accessed years down the road perhaps after the developer has decided to move on              Good just needs a little more

Kudos It does perfectly what it sets out to do to provide an undistracted environment in which to quickly jot down ideas as they occur and return to them later to flesh them out at leisure or just to classify them for easy retrieval When I testdrive this app I find its action solid simple and efficient Its salient feature is that you can get your thoughts down without delay or distraction There are no frustrating roadblocks with boxes or menus The date is automatically inserted Later you just assign the note to whatever group or groups you want it to appear in Then there is the significant advantage of instant synching on all your devices In other words this app puts at your fingertips everything you need to catch a thought on the fly AND nothing more than you need a clear case where more would definitely be less Excellent for creative minds or for people who have to think of many things at once Drawbacks The appearance of this app stands in sharp contrast to its worth It needs a finish more reflective of its value For one thing the color is washed out and insipid For another the background is so light it almost glares Also the fonts are too small for so ample an environment as the iPad Suggestions 1 Provide font control especially in the important matter of size 2 Allow theme control and have some vibrant accents too not just weak pastels though these are beautiful with the right combinations and contrasts 3 Have a few background options like light blue or cream or pink or green but please no garish scrolls or swirls Okay just one or two for the more exuberant Such adjustments would make this app not only useful but beautiful It would also appeal to a wider range of buyers and users I would like this app to look as good as it works and to enjoy it every time I open it Kevin Sent from my iPad              Excellent App Needs work on its Appearance

While the interface looks nice the app deleted my first entry The second time I opened it Not the best way to start off        First attempt fail

I honestly dont get why this app is still listed in the store its one of the most banal least functional productivity apps around Not updated in 2 years     Simply Useless

This app is by far my favorite organization tool Ive tried other note apps and this one is the best I believe it helps form healthy phone habits for creative minded peoplewhenever I have something I want to remember I have formed an impulse to go in Idea Store punch in my password and add it right away It saves the date and gives you endless options of organization and ways to view your thoughts Im really excited to have this it has honestly helped relieve problems with any tension which can stem from forgetfulness and fleeting thoughts kind of the opposite of most apps Visually and structurally a very solid app                 So amazing

Great update to a great app What Id really like though is the ability to send notes from Drafts to Idea Store              Drafts integration

GREAT Needs ability to 1 easily duplicate a note rather than having to copy and paste note contents AND 2 link a note to more than one categorylist AND 3 rearrange notes manually within a given categorylist I see now that 2 above IS available which makes 1 above not super necessary but useful in some circumstances like if want to build off an existing note but not lose the shorter original Yay PLEASE add ability to rearrangereorder notes at will within a category This is ESSENTIAL 5 stars once that gets added and endless referrals Thanks              Almost Perfect

Love the simplicity and the quick and easy startup of this app Would be nice to have a password lock screen option to keep nosey coworkers at bay while Im running around the office                 Very Useful

This idea thing has been perfect More resourceful than simple It is a cinch to move notes around to other categories or create in a new category I can not think of a thing I would want to ask for accept maybe a variety in backgroundsskins But thats pushin it                 Great

I am quite happy and pleased with the simplicity and ease of use of this app While it seems intended for quickly capturing and grouping your ideas I was pleasantly surprised to see that it also works as a light Kanban Board for organizing my tasks I know its not designed for this however the nice card view makes it a great way to visualize my work Looking forward to seeing how this app evolves Keep up the great work policarpo              Nice Visualization
