History and geography go hand in hand for a clearer understanding of how the world has changed over the centuries This app presents these changes over time using togglable layers over constant base maps to show migrations boundary changes etc focusing on the subject of each map Its the only app Ive found like this Its like a condensed sampling of chapters youd find in a large hardcover historical atlas but you can toggle layers at will My fav feature and a simple one is that for any map you can toggle presentday borders at any time useful for getting your bearings in regions which have changed drastically since issues most maps are sorely lacking supplemental pics and videos All maps have sections for this but theyre often empty or have just 1 image Hopefully more will be added soon often text layers like dates of acquisition havent been positioned carefully and run over each other and cant be read some maps are layered only by toggling states when timeframes layers would be clearer to digest showing all states always land posession could still remain color coded currently you end up with some maps like Colonization of Africa up to 1914 where the composite map doesnt reflect colonial posessions in increments of time rather all layers show 1914 a visualmtime lapse here wouls be more elegant                 great time lapse atlas clearly presented

As a world history and AP Euro teacher this made my heart go litter patter I cant wait to see more maps The images linked to the maps are very cool                 World history dream

I just wish there was more train track info Other than that its a pretty good app              Pretty good
