It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.1 has been released on 2014-11-27. The satellite map is kinda nice but the app claims to give directions and time of arrival for different types of transportation and it doesnt All this app does is show you a map of where you are and the location of the building you want to get to on campus Not what I expected
I was under the impression that this was the app for the JMU bus schedule but its not Its simply an app to show you where buildings are and the distance between them which you can already do on an iPhone without the app Might be useful if youre a first semester freshman or visiting for the first time but Mappy is better Dont be fooled

This application seems to be OK It is easy to use and does show buildings accurately The app loaded fine on my 3G phone even though ATT has no 3G service The map is totally the Google sat view I wish personally that there was a real map with sat view as an overlay The issue here is that the Google view is two years out of date Interestingly the App itself is more current so if you search for a new building the app places a pin in the correct position but the Google map shows the pin in a parkinglot or empty field Still the app works fine and would be useful for those new to JMU JMU maps are OK
