For me the simplicity of this app is a big advantage over the other flashlight apps Ive seen Other flashlight apps have made me sit through ads andor select options before the flashlight would turn on and while using those apps accidental taps on the screen would switch them to other gimmicky modes that interfered with what I was trying to do In contrast this app has none of that Just launch it and it immediately provides a white light simple and fast

I love the simplicity but its just to dim to be of any use When I need a light is usually when its dark The ambient light sensor on my iPod touch makes the screen dim when its dark So this flashlight app is dim It needs to override the system brightness so it stays bright Thanks PS Its the tiniest app I have 112 kilobytes LOL Dim

I dont understand why the ratings for this are so low It does what it says there are no glitches or anything because IT REALLY IS AS SIMPLE AS IT LOOKS No startup loading or options or any of that FOR THOSE SAYING IT IS NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH EVER HEARD OF TURNING AUTO BRIGHTNESS OFF BTW maybe to counter the auto brightness thing maybe make some REALLY SIMPLE options for adjusting brightness WITHIN the app rather than having to exit to the settings in order to adjust If you are looking for something that works as a flashlight and ONLY a flashlight THIS IS IT
