This is the best on the iPod but the AI was made improperly The idea is to make it play like a person because an ai that does not will only make the best move possible making it almost impossible to beat                 So so Inspired365

Not a bad app for shogi but should include a warning for checkmate cuz i did not know i totally lost the game and it did not show me any valid moves for any of the pieces Also on the side of the board facing you there is a piece missing on the 2nd rank It is the bishop angle mover piece                 Missing piece but not too bad nickzombielord

I was very thrilled to find such a great shogi app for the iPhone Computer was a little tough at first but I have learned from all the games I have tried 2 other shogi apps including morita and this one is the best by far If your a fan of chess give shogi a try you won t be disappointed                     Best shogi app available Spyda54

Well polished game with good indicators of where you can move and has good tutorials It seems though as if the computer levels are reversed as I can last much longer versus level 7 than against level 1 Might be a bug or something                     Levels SwingSwords

It s a great game and well done but I got this to learn shogi and the easiest level kills me very easily and it always uses the same set of moves and I don t know enough to counter it That is very iritating Please fix it and I ll give this game a proper rating             Kakinoki shogi Evyon25

Can you please hide that resign and quit option on the bottom of the screen or pop out a confirmation for game to end it happened a numerous times that I accidently hit resign because its so close to my pieces                 Great game but gan4sula

Overall a well thought out game The controls are simple and get the job done The only thing this seems to be lacking is a more refined graphical presentation Shine up the graphics and I think this will be a five star game                 Solid gameplay but lacking a little polish iPhoneRock

Very good application nice interface The possibility to set up edit a position to study problems would take it to 5 stars It would also be nice if it would detect checkmate and end the game but this is a minor issue                 Very good app jantso

If you fixed it to where it shows the title number letter ex 8c that would be great Also smoothing out graphic details along with the double tap zoom which is unecessary and quite annoying Also something to tell you you are in check or checkmate would also be great Asides from all that though this is a great game and can only hope future updates further improve the gameplay                 Great but ianv1

Excellent job Finally a shogi for the iPhone done well that is 9x9 Easy to use Multi difficulty settings Auto save on exit Easy undo English and Japanese pieces Can t comment on how strong the AI because I am not that great myself but at middle difficulty I haven t beaten it yet Good job                     Superb 'O.o'
