Very quick to pick up and run through a set to reshresh my memory I m not in great need of stroke order as 99 9 of my day and typing so this is perfect to boost my recognition                     Very quick 900tones

Pros 1 has different sound effects you can choose for when you get right or wrong answer which I like turns studying into sort of a game which I like and for someone with ADHD levels of attention span like me is a god send 2 intuitive and easy to use interface 3 has as far as I know all of the JLPT kanji and definitely has all of the kana 4 it s inexpensive compared with the value that you get if you buy all of the levels at once cheaper than a cup of coffee at most coffee shops 5 has multiple modes so you can quiz on reading kanji or meaning etc 6 as someone else has pointed out it keeps track of wrong answers and let s you retry them which I love 7 intuitive and simple interface 8 I ve had the app for a couple months and it hasn t crashed once so kudos to developer for that 9 best kanji quizzer on App Store I ve tried basically all of them Cons 1 sometimes the kanji quizzes are too easy because of the way the kanji are split by JLPT level and then further split into groups of 50 to a group and you re quizzed on each group Sometimes I can sort of recognize a kanji but can guess its meaning because the kanji that look similar to it are in different groups and so I can eliminate those meanings from my guess of what the kanji meaning is Same goes for readings etc Would be nice if app had randomized quiz mode that quizzed on 50 kanji from whole level of JLPT or even all levels of JLPT instead of just per single group 2 same with the number of multiple choice answers 9 sounds like a lot of answers but sometimes the possible answers don t include the meanings of similar looking kanji so it makes it too easy to guess by elimination Maybe making an option for a slightly larger answer grid would fix this 3 minor quibble wish the high scores for each group were reset able As it is the cons are minor gripes that I have and all in all it s a wonderful app that I would recommend to anyone studying kanji and kana especially people who find studying with Flashcards boring I would gladly pay more for this app and give 5 star rating if the developer implemented my idea under con 1 I gave 4 star rating because as it is now the app is a little bit too easy for hardcore studying                 Best kanji and kana Quizzer for price Jonaboy110

I ve downloaded just about every free Japanese app and have tried many of them This one is so far my favorite and my go to app for quizzing myself I m surprised at how many words I m learning Japanese is VERY difficult to learn for an English speaking person and vice versa Even so every time I open the app I feel smarter because I m actually learning Thanks for the nice app                     Effective Tlgjag1988

Lived worked in Japan for 12 years Most of it working in all Japanese environment My level is pretty high but I m using this app along with other resources to prepare for N1 test There are a couple of times when there are two of the same choice which means you have a 50 50 of getting it right Other than that nice app Update developer making adjustments based on feedback to improve Thank you New feedback It would be fantastic if both the kun yomi and on yomi were on the choice card Right now sometimes it s one sometimes it s the other and that doesn t quite seem fair as many times in real life the on yomi is more common Plus and most importantly from a study learning perspective having both allows for the greatest improvement opportunity because you will study and remember both as you go through the exercises Look forward to improvements and updates                 Very good Popshalie

Very good app for reinforcing your kanji knowledge Simple and easy to use but very effective Sure you can make your own flash cards or download a deck but this is organized by levels and very quick and to the point 1 99 to unlock all levels is definitely worth it if you want to learn kanji quickly and efficiently but try it for yourself first for free and see what works for you                     Amazing Haise Sasaki
