The KEXP Radio is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.6 has been released on 2014-11-26. I ve been a devote KEXP listener and contributor for the past 15 years It is hands down the best radio station in the US universe The website and app have potential but are frequently buggy especially the show archives The app behaves inconsistently across my iPhone and iPad and even my wife s iPhone Why does the app play from different and wrong time stamps when I try on multiple devices to play the same archived show Seek Destroy The live stream generally works great though except the artist info won t load on my wife s phone Thanks KEXP for being awesome IRL where it matters Please help out your digital cyber app though Give your robot army a fighting chance in the matrix             KEXP rules app needs help Boudrodog

For the most part I really like this app The one thing I hate if you have Apple AirPods and you pull one of them out of your ear to pause the music and talk to a coworker the music stops and you are forced to listen to the intro ad every time Super annoying Edit 1 9 2018 this has been fixed                     Great Theulysses

The app is pretty good but really poorly optimized for the iPhone X The top bar is just completely white obscuring the status bar and just visually displeasing and the bottom bar is partially cut off by the home bar apple places It seems like the developers didnt really have a physical device to test it out             Not well optimized for iPhone X vladzaharia

The live stream is The only feature that works Cannot stream archives and the big that allows you to control volume via AirPlay was finally fixed Great example of a poor application that was rushed before being thoroughly tested I hope the Software Development Comp behind this app is hard at work to fix it         Trash functionality 5(?&$67777;(&9((()$&

I m lucky to live in Seattle so I listen on the radio I use the app to track songs I like so the Favorites feature is key for me And I really don t like the one created for this app First when I click the heart to favorite a song the next song shows a heart automatically but it s not really favorited just looks like it So I have to unclick the heart that the app put there then click the heart again to actually favorite it That has to be a bug right Second the favorites list is sorted alphabetically by song name and I find that useless I favorite songs when I m driving to look them up later For me ordering them by date favorited is the only way I can figure out what I added earlier today vs two weeks ago The whole point of the list is so I don t have to remember song names when I hear them but that s how the app sorts them Think of a person s favorites list as a condensed personalized version of the playlist If that makes sense to you then keeping them in the order played should too Or at least give us the option to choose to order them in the way we want Third the way to remove a song from your list is to click on the filled in heart But the app has a delay you click and it doesn t respond immediately as we ve been trained to expect So inevitably I click it again But then I remember that there s a delay and I see that now I ve deleted the song I intended to delete plus the one after it defeating for that song whatever it was my whole reason for using the app This has happened multiple times This app is better than nothing but it seems like too much effort went into look and feel don t care about that and not enough into usability         Needs usability improvements rolloa

Not quite 4 star app material but the current version is such an improvement that I m feeling star generous Streaming archive now works pretty well you can actually select the start time although audio quality is pretty woeful Interface still isn t very intuitive but maybe I ll get used to it since the app actually stays open So better and less buggy than the website Thanks devs                 Getting better Nathan—

I m a big fan of this app and so grateful I can stream KEXP on the go I ve noticed a decent bug in the app regarding favorites since updating two updates ago I favor a song I hear but when returning to favorite tab to look up the song I notice it s not there Yet when the song is played again it shows I have favorited said song Besides streaming KEXP on the go being able to collect catalog the songs I love and want to remember is a big reason I use this app Could you peeps take a look into this If you need any screenshots or my info with the problem I am having email me at jeybirdsmusic at gmail dot com Cheers                 Favorites Jey Parks

Woohoo They re up to 3 stars The fact that I m so excited about this getting up to 3 star land reflects just how horrible this app has been over the last few years With the amount of money that listeners have pledged to KEXP over the years and how much of our collective listening is done online it is ridiculous how much they have neglected the app The app SHOULD be a portal to access all of their archived live shows and all their videos as well But I can dream I d settle for this working in landscape on the iPad so I don t have to turn myself sideways to choose a show Seriously just make this not look ugly and I d bump it to a four star review That is where the bar is set And dare I wish for CarPlay compatibility As usual I d be willing to throw a nice pledge your way once you show some commitment to adding to the app Sarcasm here aside I m heartened that the app actually works and seems to be getting much needed attention Please please please keep it up             Playing catch up Please keep going rcniman

I was thrilled when the latest update finally fixed the streaming archive problems Too bad that only lasted about a month RIP streaming archives Then again their website s archives seem to always have issues as well Additionally I feel as if the quality is better when using the TuneIn app             It was good for a little bit ArtofSC

This app is great if you want to listen in live time but I cannot get it to last long in my car without device unsupported appearing on my dash panel ALL other radio apps work in my car just fine Archived shows don t show up Always defaults to the same Afternoon Show I live away from Seattle now and really miss the blues show and Greg Vandy Perhaps my age is unable to decipher what is intuitive to everyone else I ve downloaded every iteration Is there a class or a video that I can watch to make this work Arrrrgh         Unsupported in car Archived shows won t work grrLAboy

The best part of KEXP s website is the streaming archive which I ve never been able to get working on my phone This app got it working I had to restart my iPhone after loading it but now working without a hitch And it says that Spotify functionality is coming Sonos the functionality would make it complete                 Needed update came through with streaming archive functionality dasvision

Really enjoying the updated app thank you I have been using it literally everyday to and from work since the update It is intuitive and has the essential features and I really love the ability to save favorites and have quick access to the playlist I should note that I tried using the older app a couple of times but resorted to streaming KEXP through a different radio app which was much less enjoyable This update was quite welcome A few suggestions for future updates 1 It would be great to have favorites synced across devices and maybe website via an optional user registration 2 Adding lanscape support for iPad would be great I use iPad at home with a keyboard stand and looking at the playlist sideways is a little awkward 3 Support for player controls with song title display in the lock screen would be a nice touch 4 This is defintiely a wishlist suggestion but the ability to download archived shows to device would be a lifesaver as a subway rider Thanks again for the app update and the great music and looking forward to the next update Mike M NYC listening since 2003                     What a great update Mike M, NYC

Hey guys Thank you so much for the new update it looks gorgeous and the layout is p solid for all the features you provide One thing tho the time display at the top of the screen disappears when you open the app Idk personally I d still like to be able to see the time regardless of what app I m running Tyy                 Missing time Mandycamps

As a Seattlite from afar I depend on the app to listen to my favorite radio station Since the app was broken for a long minute I used the Tune In App to listen and I m thrilled to see the new UI I agree to change the default to 128Kbps because I got scared how crappy 32 Kbps was                 Almost there Yessicahc

Love it two suggestions 1 It s 2017 default to 128kbps or 64kbps 32kbps sounds awful 2 Make track info available over Bluetooth so it displays on supported services eg car audio consoles This is really key for me as I usually have my phone displaying GPS but would also like to see what track is playing                 Looks great tbomb80

Firstly thanks so much for providing a new app So far so good with one limitation Show archives need to be scrubbable so as to rewind and fast forward                 New app looks great almost fully functional Digi_Doug

The old app worked in horizontal mode Now I have to look at everything sideways if i want to keep my iPad in its Bluetooth keyboard case Otherwise it seems solid                 Needs horizontal orientation for ipad DJ CrafD

I had no idea this was even happening it was a great surprise yesterday I love the ease of use pictures of the djs easy to request songs and the playlist My only recommendation would be for the song and artist title to appear on the lock screen Other than that great job                     New app is AWESOME Cielofacekilla

Data is not transmitted to my car s display So if I m driving and I want to know the name of the song artist I have to grab my phone to look Not safe I drive a Prius all other app music stations transmit the data and the previous kexp app did as well Can this be an improvement Thanks             Great from previous but Norbet8888

The new app won t even open on my iPhone 5 love kexp and used my old app all the time so this is such a bummer     Won t Open TimethQuet
