Great way to keep up with the Bay Area news even when I m not near my TV I especially like that the news is in full HD and is available live 5 7pm and 10pm to midnight Maybe other times too haven t tried in the AM App has video clips of many stories that you can watch any time but I mostly use the Live feature Plays smoothly even on my old 3rd generation iPad KTVU news is by far my preferred local news The others are OK but don t have the same level of professionalism and thorough coverage that KTVU does KTVU touches on the top national stories but their main focus is on stories that directly affect the Bay Area California Great way to watch KTVU news Topsailbeach
As I travel for work I se a lot of local news programming KTVU is consistently the most professional local news in the nation The app is my home away from home keeping me in touch wherever I am and even seems to function well over some less than desirable internet connections Keep up the good work Best local news app in the country PhilDaCoola

I was watching the news this morning for updates of hurricane Sandy Theres an option in this app to view the live stream of the channel And not only that it is a pop out window that youre able to drive around the screen and it stays on top of the other stories that you are reading on the app Was very very impressed by this The user experience here is very well thought I believe as long as they continue to improve the overall user interface of this app It should steady popularity And the developers for their hard work thanks Wellthought app honestly very satisfied

This is a very poor excuse for a news app At most on a busy day they post maybe 89 stories maximum and its only updated once a ay so breaking news is a very rare thing Not to mention the only reason anyone tries to download this anyways is for the live stream which works so terribly it makes me want to shrivel and die With a full Internet connection and the latest update it will play ten seconds of video and then freeze for five minutes Please spare yourself the frustration of having this app NBC is better Dont bother

I like the tile interface but if you cant read the headlines of the stories and they all end with Whats the point Use a smaller font or something I dont want to go into every story to see if I want to read it and I cant tell what the story is by the photo Older versions were better

This update is so disappointing The app icon now says KTVU HD but theres no visible HD content Theres no structure to the news layout The stories are arranged into broad categories like Local or Sports and youre expected to flick through an endless display There is no dedicated traffic section And worst of all there is no Live Feed You can no longer watch the news on this app I cant believe this update survived UX or QA testing Useless Live feed is gone browsing is dizzying complete mess
