Absolute waste of money This guide is not really a guide It just shows what she has done At 1 PER each guide that gives no insight it is nothing more than a rip off Save your space and money and look for ebooks that actually help you more than this Waste of money

The app it self is beautiful The information appears to be good however I am not able to easily read most of it The font that was chosen is to thin small and narrow I would probably buy other sections if it was more readable Font issues

The text on the iPhone version is just too small to read It looks great and Im sure it would be a great resource if this was fixed Text too small

Im a fan of Lindsays work and teaching method on CreativeLive but was puzzled by this app After purchasing I did not get the behindthescenes looks or diagrams as shown in images 4 and 5 in the app description at least at first I tried all buttons and finally got it to work after pressing the button and clicking the restore purchased items button After 24hours it loaded the additional material No longer puzzledits working great Theres some good quick setup tips here pro photographer

I guess the people are having a tough time navigation through the menu Theres a crapload of content in there Navigation Menus Allude Most

I downloaded the app on my iPhone and inapp add ons but couldnt open them on my iPad The app wanted me to purchase them again I eventually found in the Menu there is a restore inapp purchases button It worked so all is well but its kind of a pain inapp purchase

The content is good and informative but the fonts are hard to read the interface and navigation is unintuitive you dont know where you are in a lesson dont know where the end is etc and the descriptions are really brief The images are beautiful but it would have been nice if a little more time was spent making it a real teaching tool Needs some work

This app has really good information especially for someone like myself who has never worked with any lighting Unfortunately I had to use the iPad version to read the guides as its just too small to read on the iPhone I think the font on both the iPhone and iPad need to change I found it difficult to read on the iPad as well Also maybe add some hints or icons or instructions to scroll down below the photo to read the guide I was swiping everywhere to find the guide Aside from the font and navigation its a great app and Ill certainly be referencing to it when I finally graduate to lighting Fonts are too small and difficult to read

I purchased one of the courses within the app and on one setup the photo shows background light camera left and when you look at the behind the scenes the lighting setup could not produce the light as shown in the photo Then when you look at the diagram it shows lights that are not visible in the behind the scenes photo Im sure the images got mixed up This more than likely will get fixed Wait for the next version The iPad version is visually pleasing and seems to operate fine A little slow sliding from one frame to the next however Photos of setup do not match diagram

I love this resourceThe information is very helpful I tried one of the lighting setups and I nailed it after some trial and error So exciting to be able to see what the end product should look like The appearance is beautiful and I enjoy its simplicity The one problem is with the navigation on the Ipad I sometimes have to swipe 5 or 6 times to get it to advance to the next slide This mostly occurs with the Diagram page Its really time consuming to do this every time Also sometimes the diagram differs from the behind the scenes images but you can still figure out the way that its supposed to be done by reading the other explanations These things will probably get fixed in the future I still gave it 5 stars because the information shared is a great value for the price Great app BUT

Any photographer will appreciate the exact diagrams and resulting images Simply fantastic Thank you Fantastic app

I love Lindsays work videos and books she is an excellent photographer However she really missed the intent of an App All this App does is show you images with written descriptions of how it is lit No diagrams I thought perhaps the purchased content might provide more insight or detail so I purched the 10 Light Modifiers content Its even worse It only says what type of modifier was used NO description Here are examples 28 Square 9 inch silver reflector dish Quote unquote Nothing else and still no diagrams Waste of money dont buy it Lindsay please overhaul this App

Learned a lot from it Great app

Content is great just as Lindsays work and knowledge is However the font colors and layout make it extremely difficult to read Needs larger font and better contrast to be able to see the words I look forward to an enhancement that will let me increase my review rating Great content app needs improvement

Lindsay Adler is so amazing I absolutely love how clear she made this lighting app Love it

It stopped working There is no support for the app Whats going on I also bought a chapter and it never let me download it the app isnt working

The content was good but stopped working It tries to open but just shuts back down App not Working

It would be 5 stars except for the courses are to hard to read on an iphone Good tool
