Linux Reference Guide provides information and examples for Linux commands. This initial version only includes very basic commands. Many more commands will be provided in future versions.
There are now 0 commands I just downloaded it and started it There is a blank page that says 0 commands and indeed no amount of prodding and searching around the app has revealed any evidence that there are is any content at all This appears to be a recent break but for now there is no reason to bother with this app There are no commands Skip it until it is fixed     Broken again
Just the app I was looking for looking forward to more commands installed the app now so I will get the update automatically Based on the authors HTML5 reference app I have confidence Have you considered adding native man page and info page parsing from the filesystem Then LinuxOSXBSDUNIX help files could be copied over wholesale even by users Most of whom have rooted iPads so copying over by hand should be simple and keeps you clear of any potential GPL vs AppStore ToS conflict Everyone has rooted their iPad right                 Great start Have you considered native man and info page parsing
The program only gives info on 9 commands The info was detailed but I dont think a program that explains the 9 most common commands is needed     Not much
Few commands Dont know when will it update     Useless with so few commands
This App looks great there are so many commands I never knew existed                 I be em
App has only few basic commands and no updates so absolutely useless     Waste of my hard earned money
So much information                 So many commands
Really how useful can a set of man pages be when it shows only 9 of the most common commands If you dont have the content yet dont release it At least it was free     not much use
Exactly like im lookink for Cernovschi Marian                 Excelent
Only 9 commands I look forward to seeing future updates        Well its a place to start
i am a blind user and want to applaud this app for its accessibility with voiceover                 friggan helpful
I couldnt find accept and other networking calls           Missing lots of calls
Im glad this app didnt cost me any more than a bit of time This reference has only a handful of very very basic commands I cant imagine that anyone who has used Linux for more than a couple of days would find this in the least bit useful        Glad I Didn
I love all the new content Now that there are more commands this really is an awesome app I wish the update had come awhile ago I use this app more than any others Ive tried Maybe Ill get the adfree version                 Great
Hey thats useful tool Will it contain some VIVIM commands as well                 Very useful
This will be a lot more useful when there are more than 9 commands listed Please update           More Content Please
Right now as the description says it is sparse but if the authors HTML5 guide application is any indication in addition to the interface of the app already itll be an excellent app that does exactly what it says                 Looking like itll be ace
This app promises a lot great star and great work                 Helpful
This app is merely the man pages for nine linux shell commands cat cd cp ls man mkdir mv pwd rm If you have no idea at all what is meant by a linux shell or terminal prompt or command line then you dont need to get this app If you do know what those terms mean you dont need to get this app This app would be useful if there were a lot more commands in the listing        man pages for basic shell commands
As stated in a previous comment it only has 9 commands I would to see this app expanded to include as many possible commands and a search feature Great concept        Has great potential
Add more commands and it wouldnt be such a waste     Waste
Pretty sure there are more than basic Linux commands     Disapointing
But it needs more info              Good first version
For a guy that needs to know the basics this is great Everyone gives some ideas what to add and we have a great technical app                 Great Start
This actually has more useful information then the other Linux reference app I paid for I will probably end up getting the no ad version because I like the app                 Really good
Why is this app even here Its a joke even for a free app     Junk
Dont waste your time or AWFUL     Dont waste your time or AWFUL
All the Linux information you need When viewing in horizonal mode on an iPad2 the right side of the text is cut off              Nice Reference
