This is a great program for a serious investor who embraces the strategies of IBD The app is a close second to the computer web based program Very handy to use in a pinch when away from a pc                 Great research utility

The ipad app is an excellent complement to the desktop version Summary fundamental info combined with traditional principles of momentum technical analysis gives an investor a quick read on the total attractiveness of a security The only shortcoming is the lack of good information on the history of dividends and growth of those dividends over time Graphing such info would be helpful              Best All Around TechnicalFundamental App

I love how they rank stocks Going with the winners and knowing when to sell and buy are keys to successful trading This sounds easy but its not The analytics used by IBD really give you a great starting place for conducting useful research Yes they are a bit expensive But they teach you how to trade And one or two good trades pays for the program Good info and all hype BTW if you dont like the IBD site you wont like this program as its an extension of it and offers the same tools                 Great Research Keeps You Out of Trouble

Im a portfolio manager This often sits at my desk on my iPad because I can often find information faster on this than on MarketQ I have multiple screens open all day and this app in my iPad functions as an additional screen Its also very useful when I am out of the office as I can watch my lists quickly no matter where Im at                 Great app

I like thes app It now allows me to see my annotations across iOS devices The service is pricy in my opinion              Works well

Great service clunky app Latest version keeps freezing up at the opening splash screen or just crashing when using it Only solution appears to be deleting and reinstalling app multiple times per day That also requires that you reconfigure certain settings It also has you logging in with your password multiple times a day saying youre logged in on another device even though thats not necessarily the case If at least theyd let it remember your password it would save some hassles     Great Online Service Clunky App

As with any living moving organism Trading is not a game it is serious discipline and knowledge its the key Having this tool does not justify you of enter blindly into a trade You still have to know what to look for to enter and exit but its greatest benefit is to see the pattern of a company performance earnings profit and losses and the chart patterns My favorite is the charts great job market smith                 If you know what to look for this a great tool

If you are looking for something free or inexpensive this is not it Requires subscription of 120mo or 1kyear cost Need to register to get 7day trial there is nothing to access for free I did not subscribe nor register and do not know how it functions I dont understand what they mean by free download if theres nothing to use        Subscription Required

Like other reviews the app freezes on iPad every time I switch wi fi connections when traveling and can only be deleted and reinstalled Software is subpar due to that     Frozen on iPad

I really like this app It gives me the info I need to run my IBD growth stock selection and monitoring process I am rarely able to get to my laptop during the day and this lets me do things during the day when I have a few minutes to catch up While the subscription does cost a bit It has more than paid for itself If you want to do do the IBD approach to investing this app is essentially                 Great App

I love the MS app for the iPad but there are a few things wrong 1 I cant see the prices for the trend lines especially when they are converging with each other Horrible feature MS team please fix this 2 When will we be able to adjust the dates so we can see more of the chart history 3 Please allow a feature for us to manage the order of our stock lists Other than that this app is pretty awesome Marketsmith is a must for me and I use the iPad app just as much as the desktop maybe even more Love it              Great substitute BUT

What a powerful and remarkable app for the ipad And now my iPhone This is incredible Great job IBDMarketsmith team I have been an IBD subscriber since the mid 90s and have enjoyed many of your tools but this app has had the biggest positive impact on my ability to access charts not just charts but GREAT charts ANYWHERE Even the intraday one min charts show actual numerical price highs and lows the actual price point to the penny without having to use the crosshairs pointer feature on every tick And theres so much more EPS dates and earnings figures The ability to touch two spots on the graph and have the app calculate all sorts of price and time data for you instantly WOW It even shows you what stage of base you are in at least with my chart recognition subscription incorporated I could go on and on but truthfully im going to stop wasting my time on this review now so i can get back to using the Marketsmith graphs appreally                 Amazing App

This is a nice app I wished it had all the functions of the desktop app eg viewing the list of strongest RS stocks and sorting by AD                 Great App Wished it had all the functions of the desktop application

It works well for what it is but its not perfect I dislike that I need to type my password essentially relogging in every time I open the app I also cant really see my annotations They dont translate well On the other hand I love that my price alerts get sent directly to my phone Thats pretty awesome Im sure I could go into more details about the pros and cons of this app but suffice to say that while its very useful for any market smith subscriber its no substitute for and no comparison with the desktop version It works well for what its supposed to be              Reliable

I am a professional money manager and utilize MarketSmith throughout the work day from my desktop for managing client portfolios utilizing the CANSLIM methodology This app is a great tool for checking existing positions and reviewing potential additions while away from the office                 Great compliment to my desktop routine

The Marketsmith App is the perfect supplement to the online subscription While I am finding it hard to leave my paper and pen trading research the tools available in this app have made looking up charts much much easier I am using the app on an older iPod so the processor is a little slow I would recommend this app to CAN SLIM followers as well as other investment philosophies                 Great App

I have the PC version of this and I am up 9 percent in 6 weeks but this app does not seem to have the filters of the PC version and the flagged stocks do not seem to carry over I hope this gets better than it seems or I am stuck carrying around the PC     Still trying to figure it out
