Don t bother Total rubbish     RUBBISH PDCharron
We all get used things a certain way that s how we keep productive I wanted somehow a matrix scientific calculator in my pocket that was as simple as a matlab octave command line I can t believe I actually found one Thank you                     MATLAB Octave users this is for us FoundWhatIWasLookingFor
An Almost Matlab app on iPad Awesome Fun to write little operations to manipulate matrices etc Full version probably is worth the money                     Excellent App MCMLXXVI
Wont even let you solve a polynomial Makes you pay for the real app Basically another standard calculator     Worst app ever Coolkid1009
Doesn t load anything     Crash Occupyist
Many reviews are complaining about the keyboard layout specifically pointing the out things like 2 4 saying that it takes too many keystrokes This app is not good for simples things like the expression above but us great for much more complicated things like matrices If you need a better calculator for simple math then just use the standard calculator app                     Really nice Awesomness dude of Epic Skills
I am a Matlab user and I was looking at some alternatives for quick calculations on the go mostly matrix operations This app is absolutely what I was looking for Other reviews about the equations being difficult to type are correct but that is mostly because of the Apple keyboard                     Fantastic Juan M Caicedo
This app uses the usual text math notation but the standard Apple pseudo keyboard requires too many shift operations To enter the simple expression y x 2 requires 5 shift keystrokes to access the required keys I don t know what they need to do to fix the problem but this is too cumbersome to use The app claims to do symbolic math but how you might enter an expression to solve isn t covered in the tutorials or the user guide The app insists that you define all variables as a numeric range and increment like a do loop which is appropriate for a graphing app but not for symbolic math It s like revisiting a 20 year old version of MathCAD from before they added the University of Waterloo Maple symbolic math package Maple is also found in the TI calculators that do symbolic math and apparently anything else that does symbolic math other than Wolfram s Mathematica Much of the documentation seems to need proof reading it reads as if it was written in pidgin english i e as if it s an incompetent translation from another language In summary this like so many other math applications in the last 30 years is an unfinished effort that isn t ready for prime time Although its free in its present form it isn t worth using     Poor interface no documentation Illusivek
Everytime I try to use variables it closes the program If that can be fixed it ll be great         Almost merr's pod
This is so almost right The problem is really with the built in keyboard layout on iPad iPhone To type common mathematical operation symbols you have to press the key and then press the 123 key to get back into numbers If you press a space key you get popped back into the alphabet keyboard Console idea is nice but entering the calculations on standard iPhone iPad keyboard is too much trouble I recommend that the developers and prospective customers take a look at NoteCalc Slightly different idea much better keypad         Needs better number symbol keypad kuaikuai
