Update to my Review as MidiBand 30 has been released Coming from a background of using Arranger keyboards such as the Korg i30 Interactive Music Workstation and various other arrangers from Yamaha and Roland this amazing little app has single handedly become the dream Arranger App IOS musicians so desperately needed Imagine that you could spend literally 1000 or more for a Hardware Arranger Synth now Midiband 30 with you iPad you can do more than you could ever do with one of those expensive hardware units I have been wishing for such an app as this and when I came across this amazing Arranger app I was extremely overjoyed You can purchase Style files from Yamaha Corp or find user made sty files on the internet for free It is so easy to use I can load up hundreds of free STY files or style files from the web into the app by using Audioshare the standard for IOS audio file management and it loads them up perfectly with all available variations Over all I can still play the app using Bismark BS16i soundfont player It works excellent with the built in great sounding GM soundfont that Bs16i comes with Or you can use The Roland Sound Canvas app Both work great I love how the mixer adjusts the mixer of Roland Sound Canvas in realtime You can also edit the Style files by selecting different drum kits in RSC or different midi instruments for the other backing tracks The built in Sequencer is nothing really fancy but its a straightforward session recorder It records everything you did in realtime Which is really cool cause you can replay your performance and see if you like it If you do you can simply export it via email and then open the Midi file in Cubasis I was so pleasantly surprised how nice Cubasis is as it opened the Midi file created by Midiband and Cubasis separated each midi track with the correct instrument It actually sounded better to my ears than RSC I liked how you can also change the instruments inside Cubasis Guys this app for me is really a God Sent app I was praying for so long for such an app cause with time being so limited for us musicians with fulltime work ministry and family the little time that we have for songwriting or making music is usually lunch and break times This is where Midiband truly shines You can load up a nice Rock Rhythm style file and you have intros variations fills endingsetc to play with and create the bones of a song in minutes This is so awesome for guitar players cause like myself I dont play drums and drums are the hardest track to record Takes so long to get something realistic sounding Well most midi files are recorded by pro folks that know how to play drums etc So you just go ahead and play your chords in realtime and let the virtual midi band players play the backing tracks according to your chord progressions played on your midi keyboard in realtime The price is also fair considering what you would pay for a hardware Arranger or Module and you can still play your styles to build the bones and flesh of a song in minutes instead of hours or days This is where this app can make a huge difference for IOS musicians Imagine taking this app with your iPad and a small portable midi controller and come up with a song during your lunch hour You have so many styles to choose from its crazy So you pick a nice rock style that comes close to the song in your mind Record it and export it as a midi file Then play and record the midi into Cubasis and bingo you got a the bones of a song that you can then finish up later You can even record the audio output from RSC into Auria which i did It worked great too I am So happy that Background audio is now working too In summary if you ever wanted a Midi session band with virtual players that will never call in sick get tired or play out of tune then you need this Arranger app Midiband 3O has seriously raised the bar on what an arranger app can be I truly hope this app continues to get developed Sincerely Musikman4Christ                 Finally Midiband 30 The One Man Band and Music Arranger App IOS Musicians Desperately Needed
