This app is useless and the Mini Connected system is a huge disappointment I was looking forward to Mission Control and to be able to control my iphone with the car Please make this more user friendly     Why bother OrMinime

Occasionally I can see how many gallons of fuel remaining but most of the time the app appears stuck on a connected screen Oh yes I can see my calendar from my iPhone on the center display This app is the first to go when I m tight on space for my iPhone     I m missing the point or maybe this app is pointless JS1952

Absolutely love my 2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4 However Mini Connected is so lacking Please BMW make this a better system For starters please make where we don t actually have it hard wired with the USB for it to work This certainly can be done just with the Bluetooth     Could be so much more TC Mini

The only useful function I can find is sending locations to the car s nav system The dealer pushed installing it but could not explain what it does or how to use it The tutorials are ads not help There is no current documentation I learned how to use it from the BMW ConnectedDrive documentation Pandora stops after starting You still have to select USB in Multimedia although that should be automatic App Support is nonexistent The link sends you to a website that does not work correctly on IOS devices Emails to support are not answered There is no documentation on IOS level App level and vehicle Firmware levels required It apparently does not work with iPhone 7 and or IOS 10 It should work through Bluetooth I want Apple CarPlay instead     Why did my Mini dealer recommend this Beach336

Didn t work on my 6S and it still doesn t work with my iPhone 7 I am using the latest Mini Connect software in my car and I ve tried different lighting cables I m hoping the new Mini Connected app will work better than the Classic version Guess it s back to CD s no aux port in iPhone 7 and I don t want to have to choose whether to charge my iPhone or use the headphone adapter     Useless AlexDFW

I understand that adding navigation functionality or even making the app compatible with Apple Maps or Waze will make Mini Navigation Professional a much less attractive proposition which is in all honesty is not terribly attractive to begin with What I do not understand however is why do I need my previous trips recorded or broadcast my position with Glimpse What I want my car to help me with is real time traffic and naturally GPS navigation with a map shown in colors that the display is capable of not monochrome like it is 2001 Everything else makes driving less safe as simple as that Essentially what this app does is turns a powerful GPS enabled computer yes my iPhone 6 into a useless toy stripped of its most useful functions     Utterly useless Irakly Shanidze

This app does less than the previous version and what it does do is largely pointless First the good of the current update The force meter is cool and the engine sensors is nice Now the bad Streetwise is junk I don t see the point of recording my past trips They make a poor source of data for predicting future best routes By far the most important info for that task is traffic This app ignores that info And then there is the point that I want the best route for some place I HAVEN T been to This app is worthless for that Maybe Mini should leave app development to Apple and adopt CarPlay Or at least allow more developers who actually know how to design software do it for the Mini BMW platform     Pretty pointless app Tiny Sluggo

I got the Mini Connected package on my car with the sales gimmick of having Facebook on my car and used to love to read the updates while waiting for the kids off school and now is all gone Such a worthless option now     All the fun removed chinoooo

Don t download this You will just get frustrated I try to use Spotify through this on a Mini Countryman with connected and am very tech savvy Spotify fails to work through this app 9 10 tries and there is no repeatable scenario or series of events which causes it not to work properly This is simply some broken garbage Would it kill mini BMW to pay a couple of developers to maintain their apps so they are not so disappointing This is like seeing a scrumptious and beautiful sandwich on a menu and then being handed a bowl of diarrhea instead     Appalling Squoosh!

This app is in need of s serious overhaul While I joined the MINI party after the app was already stripped of things like Driving Excitement and Web Radio it sounds like things were much better back then The app constantly fails and restarts sometimes even causing the entire system in the car to reboot It also keep the phone fully awake while running and will disconnect if you try to lock your phone Why is this The phone heats up tremendously due to this particularly if your battery is below 100 and the phone is charging while connected I was very excited at the idea of the vast connectivity and app integration that MINI provided and this was something that I really looked forward to experiencing when my car was on order To say that I am disappointed in this very unstable app is an understatement Come on MINI You make such a wonderful car you can do better than this Update I discovered that much of my reliability problem was related to using the TuneIn app that integrates with this The app is much more stable when using other radio apps but unfortunately TuneIn is the only compatible app that allows streaming live internet radio not Pandora style radio Not sure if the problem lies with TuneIn or with MINI Connected but I really hope they can iron it out         Glitchy not very functional MS3Mikey

I love the car but Mini can keep the app I wasted a fair amount of money on the snap in adapter in the arm rest The app crashes every 5 minutes The only thing cool this app does is shows me how much gas I have in my car but if you want to save a few hundred dollars check the gauge before you get out of the car or just walk outside and check in the car I don t even bother to plug my phone into the snap in adapter anymore It s more hassle than it s worth     All messed up CaliforniaSucks

This use to be a fun app and practical But they took the fun out and made it into something ever car has in a gauge and called it an upgrade The travel function is completely faulty and crashes after only 15 miles of the projected trip Want to make people happy Bring back the older version until you get your act together     Confusing upgrade with downgrade AJCOL
