The idea of using the Apple TV in combination for the iPhone as a gaming console is great The problem is that the response times between iPhone and Apple TV via wifi are too delayed In addition mirroring the iPhone image results in a skipping experience Please keep trying to make this work The idea is great        Great idea for an immature platform

There is nothing positive to say about this game The user has almost no control over his player The only aspect you can control is type of swing normal slice or lob based on the orientation of your iPhone when the ball is near your player and even this works only about 20 of the time Basically holding your palms facing down is like pressing the A button facing down is B and facing up is C on a Nintendo 64 Except in this game you have less control over when the buttonpress actually occurs and you dont control at all where the player is on the screen You cant move up toward the net or back toward the baseline you cant anticipate where the opponent is going to place his volley or anything like that The thing that differentiates this game from a Nintendo 64 not Wii game is the way the user controls the virtual player With all of the iPhones precise sensors accelerometer gyroscope etc along with 20 years of advances in software I expected more control over the player than I could get with a standard Dpad style controller The description and tutorial for this game instructs the user to swing his iPhone like its a tennis racquet But there is no reason to swing your iPhone A slight flick of the wrist does accomplishes the same thing because the user only controls whether its a normal slice or lob shot Swinging your iPhone faster slower with more or less followthrough etc does nothing     A Nintendo 64 Game But Worse

This app did not work for me I have an iPhone 4g and a Apple TV 3rd gen and the app simply does NOTHING It freezes on the screen looking for airplay connection when I know Airplay works fine in my devices i use it regularly If the developers are still testing their app they shouldnt charge for it This app is money wasted     VERY disappointed

I have to admit it took about a halfdozen crashes before it finally loaded up my first match Its buggy and needs a bit of tweaking Theres really only so much you can do with this kind of hardware and software People who think its supposed to be just like a Wii experience dont realize that Wiis use IR and Bluetooth sensors in addition to their accelerometers You just cant do the same with only accelerometers but this is a very pioneering start that I hope to see go somewhere very big very fast Ill upgrade my rating when some of these glitches have been worked out though Keep the ideas coming guys              Has GREAT potential

Looks like the company stopped developing the app The game is officially dead on iOS7 The airplay option has moved in the OS and the app isnt updated for that control Dont waste your money Its a pointless app even otherwise Laggy and useless     Does not work on iOS 7

Although theres a setup for using your left hand the player is right handed only Also extremely annoying is that is asks you every time you open it to sign into the health app to count calories and to sign into Game Center     Not for left handed

A great idea but a buggy implementation With an iPhone 5s and recent Apple TV the game locked up when loading the first time After that it worked but would stutter and freeze during play Its not playable for me     Unfulfilled Promise

The most interesting thing here is the idea itself The experience is nowhere close to the Wii There is too much lag in spite of a very solid network The novelty wears off quickly However it will probably do in a pinch           Cool idea Works OK

Outstanding So much work put into this app Graphics lag but the concept of mirroring the game to the Apple TV is just great                 Wow

This is an excellent start for this type of genre You can download this if you want a light workout or some fun The app also keep track of how many calories you burn This will remind you of the tennis game that came prepackaged with the Wii Im really interested now to see what Apple the app Developers will come up with in iOS 8 the new iPhone                 This is great fun

Downloaded and played today on iPhone 5c and apply TV 3 Game was very fluid I will buy future games from them No more Wii tennis for me                 Smooth play no lag

Its not terrible but its noticeably worse than the brands its competing with For example Wii Sports Tennis beats it on MANY fronts from feeling more natural having better motion tracking the large amount of character customizations the better multiplayer and even the basic graphics look better than this Its a cool thing to show off to people but not a fun game I give it points for its concept and interesting execution           Its not terrible

I give points for concept and is a fun game to show off to people but as far as actual game play it leaves much to be desired Motion tracking is off that if you do the same move over and over it hits the ball differently I was on amateur level and winning the third game in a row with a landslide and then my hits consistently went long and wide The computer won Then fourth game so many hiccups in connection that within a few minutes the computer won Somehow I did get one point in there Started final game to break tie and the game caused my phone to crash and restart The app didnt crash my phone crashed Apple logo screen and everything It is a fun gimmick but until they fix these small problems in game play it is more frustrating in play than fun           Agree with nimatoed

The concept is good Who wouldnt like to use their Apple TV as a Wii replacement However the motion sensing is kind of sloppy nowhere near 11 If the controls were better it would be worth the price but if you own a Wii skip it        Poor Execution

It doesnt seem to be compatible with iOS 8 at the moment The game crashes every time after you calibrate your iPhone before ANY match Please fix this because this is a very good game and it would be a shame if the crashing doesnt even allow you to play it        Great potential but

The motion sensors arent super accurate but still its pretty fun and my kids really enjoyed it I really love the whole AppleTV genre of games and applaud the developer for building this              Fun
