Movie Budget

This app is having issues when trying to send It also needs more work if you are trying to use it professionally For example Im not in the union and I dont have Movie Magic so I was hoping this app would help with smaller projects but it still needs work to be a professional app But it will have to do for now because I have a budget due tonight           Having Issues

Ive had issues updating to 111 my old budgets could not be uploaded and the app was unable at first to upload and print its own PDFs or save budgets as CSVs I had to delete the app and then reinstall it from iTunes on OSX Mavericks not ios7 before the app was fully restored to a functional state It took 4 lost budgets to get there but now it seems to work Im still a skeptic Its a cool program to try but save everything and print everything Movie Cost can export to both a PDF and a CSV file used by most spreadsheet apps but as of this version cannot reopen its own saved data The previous version of Movie Cost could not restore saved budgets meaning the database was not imported to the newest version It went byebye Good luck if you didnt print a copy Im told that this version is now safe This could be a great app a spectacular app but not yet First off this is a great idea for an app It does export as a PDF It does have an editable format to a certain degree If youre producing a feature film you might consider a more advanced software package or the hiring of a line producer If youre producing a short film PSA student film music video or commercial this just might be the app solution for you It does need improvement The code lags in spots and should be upgraded immediately However for under 500 it does a decent job not spectacular but decent In baseball terms its a ground rule double when it should have been a home run           v111 still needs work

I like the App Especially where one can create templates that better suit ones needs But I would like it to be closer to industry standards meaning that I would like the option to subdivide the fields into Above the Line Below the Line Post Production and Other Expenses yes a total of four subfields with their corresponding sub totals With that option available the App would be Flawless        Interesting

I find this to be a useful and relatively intuitive way to quickly do a bid                 Improved perhaps

I used this for a while and it really helped me to build quotes on the go Not anymore I cant even export the pdf anymore I spent ages on a quote only find what I had done was useless I wrote the developer and they responded quickly with insincere disbelief I now find others have this problem too DONT DOWNLOAD THIS DON     Time wasting trash this is

The budgeting features are great but the app wont export to pdf or csv and wont upload to drop box either Perhaps theres a bug that needs to be looked into Please update and fix this issue Will totally be worth the 5 stars once this is resolved           Great but wont export

I was excited to see if this could get me a rough estimate to give investors but the format is entirely wrong It needs to be separated into above the line which includes script and the rights and below the line There should be an option to put how many shoot days for each line item which automatically populates after you enter I cant even get a TOP SHEET out of this to give anyone My excel is more useful It seems like whoever programmed this is not in the film industry Completely useless for those of us who are Again will definitely give a better rating if this becomes a useful tool Right now I just wasted 5     Not at all useful will change rating when program is better
