This app is not only good for ranking movies it s easily customizable which means if there s a movie or category you wish you could add or remove you can in just 10 seconds In fact if you so chose you could rank ANYTHING not just movies So far in the year or so I ve been using it it s only crashed two three times and then all I had to do was go back into the app and there was no further problem                     Brilliant 20/20 shopper

This app is great and has a great idea with it but there should be a little more to it As someone who loves to watch movies and wants to keep track and rank them it s helpful but there when you add a movie to your watched library you should be able to put them in genres and add run time This make the ranking proses better by ranking some by the genre their in                 Needs a little more to be great Nicholas6600

The only thing this app needs to move to the next level is the capacity to begin with rating the features of each movie as they are added Say you can go through your full list of films assigning a comedy ranking for each then the comparison tool only needs to compare films that are close in rank to each other If Titanic is assigned a 4 drama then there is no need to compare it to Toy Story with a 1 drama this would help to greatly cut down the comparisons to a more manageable level             Suggested enhancement Skim4242

This app is very close to what I would like to have I d like to see it have 2 options detailed as it is and a basic mode which would just rank 2 movies against each other and you select which one you like more without all the categories as in the detailed mode Only 3 stars because it needs the basic mode but also needs a much more exhaustive list of movies If it could somehow update automatically weekly with new releases it would be amazing I could then easily add the new movies I see at the theater each week and be able to rank them against others             Great potential Philculp

Would be nice if user could sort titles by release Qualities selections really gotta include Directing Editing Cinematography Sound Mixing Score If you are a couch critic self proclaimed cinephile this is probably a pretty satisfying App If you are just a tad more if you also work in film production post you won t be happy until Qualities are more substantial App is just a step or two away from having the ability to also serve as a personal film database it would be a great fit to be able to modify add records to include additional information of the Users choice Running on iPhone4 no crash issues             Terrific diversion w potential Anonmom

I don t think many people are anal retentive AND crazy hyper literal enough to dig on this Ap This fact makes me love it all that much more I agree with the other user about the IMDB query as it would be awesome to see who writes directs stars in one s favorites both top and bottom I m running iOS4 on a 2nd generation touch so I cannot speak to the crash issue It seems to work fine for me thus far I think I hate that I love this App considering how many movies I ve seen and how much time this will take to fully enjoy Then again this is perfect App for Jury Duty and or the toilet                 Not for everyone and tedious Joe Zilch

I ll be blunt though this is not by any means a FUN app as the description explains However I have been trying to compile a list of my 100 favorite movies of all time and this is definitely the one to do it I also really dig on the customization I added a couple of defining pairings myself For example I added Best Soundtrack Empowering Leaves you fulfilled and a sense of faith in humanity Thoughtful leaves you pondering about the filom long after it has finished You can retroactively figure out what you are looking for in your favorite films by adjusting the sliders on what is most important to you until you find a collection of films that actively matches your expected ones You can come up with some interesting lists based on this like Best films to make you horribly depressed by putting depressing factors high soundtrack factors low kid friendly low etc etc One issue I have though is that it doesn t REALLY find the films of your choice they are just list items that you write yourself I would LOVE to see a version that queries imdB or something One major beef though the app will delete your ranking criteria if you opt to edit it on a 3gs running os 3 1 3 This is a pretty big issue and I have to recreate the category each and every time All in all this is now my most actively used app and I am very excited to see what comes next                     This is terrific Rhino_666
