If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download My Provider Locator for free from Apple Store. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 2.6 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.14 has been released on 2014-11-26. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. 3 things I found wrong within 5 minutes of using the app 1 It does not match the features of the web version of the provider search Some elements are missing from criteria and you cant choose at all which type of provider you want to search for and others 2 You arent able to print or send the search results by mail or any other method Very limiting 3 When you choose a provider if you tap the address it should open a map with just that provider pinned in the map and zoomed in to their location Not Great
This is a quick provider search for your plan I like the ability to make a call to the provider from the app and also add provider to the contact app That said there are some problems choosing a medication Managment provider while also choosing the EAP network encourages one to think this service is part of their free EAP program Another issue is the listing of groups when some group providers may not be in the Magellan network The name of the provider is frequently less visible due to length of name but the light blue color minimizes the most important information There should be a link to the Magellan website so there could be a quick link if more information is needed However it is useful app for what it is intended for As an employee and consumer
