Needle Minder

It was easy to enter my needles The sort by types puts needles in size order necessary but it would be nice if it would be in length order within size also I would love to have a way to back up the data to my computer since Ive had data disappear from a similar type app and its a lot of work to enter all the information              Nice but few features

Im disappointed I updated to the new version The colors are not appealing font is too large it is not rotational Im not sure what was improved but the obvious changes dont work for me The old version was functional consistent and very easy to use I recommended often I wont be recommending the new version     Needle minder new version

So far I like the app Easy to use and input my needles and hooks Improvements is like to see 1 I would love to be able to tag needles as in use or available 2 I would like to list sizing in both American number and mm For each needlehook           Nice could be great

Got this app back when it was free It keeps track of needles okay until you get to the smaller crochet needles Adding wasnt problem free In the end I decided to delete the app and crwate a file for my needles in my Evernote I have to type just as much and its backed up and accessible everywhere        Not really worth it

Super easy to use Just recorded my entire needle inventory in about an hour Developer suggestions feedback and validation mechanisms are poor Does not confirm that it has added a manufacturer name and then allows you to duplicate a name if you click add more than once Also better contrast for buttons in selected state would be lovely              Love With a couple of tweaks it would be perfect

Definitely a must have for beginners and experienced knitters alike Easy to use and eliminated my lengthy list of needles that I would inevitably forget to take with me to the yarn store Love it                 Fantastic

Love this app in concept and practice It would be super helpful to have a feature to indicate if needles are already in use for another project Im adding this to the notes field now but Id love to see it on the summary screen to know they are currently unavailable              Very useful

I was looking for an app that is easy to use keeps my needle inventory organized the way I want to see it and prevents me from buying needle sizes I already own can you tell Ive done this once or twice before You can organize by size needle or type of needle like double pointed or circular One improvement I would make is to have it preloaded with popular Brands or to have the ability to store brands that youve entered before it was a a pain entering that everytime I was adding needles Ive used other free needle organizing apps and this one is the best so far I would grab this one before they start to charge for it              Great app

Having a fantastic time with this app my needles have gone from being a jumbled mess to being nice and organized Thanks so much                 Love this app

Thanks so much for this App I have been waiting for it ever since you told us about it at the knitting group on Tuesday and it is finally here It never fails that I go to the store and I see a new pattern and I dont know if I have the needle for it or not One addition I might like to see in the next version is somewhere to put a shopping list or a Wish List of the needles I may need for a project that is at home Just an idea                 Great App

I love the app Particularly like being able to sort by type brand etc would really love to see a category type added for interchangeable tips and their cords              Great start

The program does what it claims but could be better It would be nice if it remembered the needle brands that you enter and text match as you type to offer suggestions based on previous entries It would also be helpful if the navigation tabs stayed visible as you scroll through your needle inventory But these are minor complaints only           Does what it says

I have really enjoyed organizing my needles with this app However I have recently bought some interchangeable circular needles and have no way to enter those I entered the tips as a needle but dont have a way to keep up with the cables at all That would be a great addition as well as some way to indicate which needles are currently in use in projects           Great app with one exception

This app looks like it will do exactly what I need allow me to check my needle inventory in detail while still at the LYS My smashed bent scribbled index card can be retired Suggestion for those with interchangeable needle tips for which there is no category in this program Instead of entering an inchesnumber for length Ive just entered an ampersand theyre still listed as circular so Ill know what this means Addendum Ive just moved to an iPad Mini from an iPod Touch am horrified to NOT have this app NO It is absolutely the best easiest to use but when I search the App Store all knitting needle apps it doesnt appear Please please make it available The others options are all wretched Addendum Two hey Needle Minder app creators Do you realize this app is listed as iPhone only I selected and downloaded to my new iPad mini anyway and it seems to be working fine Yikes What the heck The new color scheme is hideous like a poke in the eye with a Sharp stick Can I please revert to the earlier version Boo     Just what I wanted

This app is awesome I knit day and night and this app helps me stay organized The creator of this app is a genius And probably good looking too                 What

Easy to input info Different choices to sort your needles Would love to have a button or something that I could mark the needles that are being used and for which project A more personal touch would make it fun too              Nice App

The older version was far more appealing I completely agree with the last two reviewers the color scheme is awful and the font size is enormous and not pleasing In the older version you were able to view a great deal of information on your screen at one time For this version all your information is so spread out due to layout spacing and font size Please consider allowing the user to choose font size spacing and color or just return to the look of the older version           Disappointed in new version

This app is great easy to put needles in and love love the ease of search by material size etc had apps prior didnt compare                 Knitter

This recent update is not good in terms of esthetics They changed the layout which is now obnoxious and unpleasant to use The contrasting color scheme is distracting I enjoyed using the previous version and often recommended it to fellow knitters and crocheters Hopefully the interface will be fixed and I can return to using and sharing a quality app     Poor layout in update

What This is unexpected That needleminder users would upgrade a phone But then have to reenter all 50 odd needles one by one or lose all the stored data These app developers should come with a big warning sign that says DISCLOSURE we never want you to upgrade your phone or you will forfeit your data and time           Upgrade angst

The app is really easy to use sorts nicely and unlike another app I tried has a spot to list the brand The only thing I would fixupdate is the US size wont let you input 00 andor 000 sizes The field reverts back to 0 when you hit Done                 Great app
