This app has atrocious account creation process It asks for your mobile phone and PIN which is not immediately sent to your phone and God forbid you press Back button during signup process it wont allow you to use the same phone number to register for a whole hour In the meantime PIN arrives which is only valid for 30 minutes and this loops again and again Previous app was 100 better Worst signup process ever
So I immediately deleted the app All I wanted was an easy way to find Hess Stations Nasty that you killed the old app I dont want to register
I would give ZERO stars if I could I have tried repeatedly to create an account to sign in and also tried signing in through Facebook Something has gone terribly wrong since the first app Please go back to something that actually worked This one never even lets you in Wont let me sign up
The app is completely locked until you login Are they going out of their way to make sure people use a competitor Whos bright idea was this Register Login just to find a station
The app freezes up during the registration process at the step when you are to enter your birthday information They need to release an update to fix this Didnt even make out the gate

The app is better laid out this time However the sign in is a little buggy For those of you having trouble go into that app again push help when your at that confirmation code screen It will ask for your network provider Put that in and you will get a message with code That worked for me hopefully it works for you Its a bug for sure but Hess should clear it up soon App is great Sign up is difficult

I used the old Hess App to find the next store and what the current gas price is Getting my business at the gas station was not enough They became greedy They want to force me to create a login to give me more advertising Since the brought out the app last month I havent been back at a Hess gas station They lost my business Useless Login required
Ive tried 10 times to register Ive deleted and reloaded the app a few times and it still freezes at the point of entering your DOB Then I decided to read some of the reviews since the App has a 1 star rating Interesting enough others are experiencing the same issue the App freezes This is a known problem and Hess hasnt fixed it Comon man do something Hire new App creators lol Seriously
I love using this app It is so easy to use and looks great It makes it so easy to find the cheapest gas station near me Love it
I have to say my overall experience at Hess locations to get gas or snacks is very satisfying However this app is not real useful It does not explain how you are able to get gas points when you get gas at a location Is the only way to save money on gas buying drinks and snacks vs on the actual spend of gas If that is the point maybe you should give clear instructions how to save when actually spending money on gas instead of let me know the great saving on when I spend 20 and buy a drink Smh to that Not pleased
Im not sure why others are having a problem sighing up for an account I dont use FaceBook or Twitter and had no issue getting an account The old Hess app was wonderful I hope the new one continues in the same tradition No problems with sign up
This app is awesome has lots of ways to get deals on products and makes it easy to check prices at local stations Amazing

I too had problems creating a new account until I filled out everything including the optional information Not doing so apparently prevents you from getting an account I do like the option to pin more than 1 favorite station Its ok

I tried to redeem a coupon on the app and after dealing with an inexperienced cashier who had to call the manager the coupon expired and the store would not honor it Five minutes is too short it should be 15 minutes like the old Hess app which was much better Major FAIL Hess 5 minutes too short
