Newsblur helps me keep up with stuff I used to depend on google reader for If there is one thing I would change its that id like it to launch chrome for viewing full articles so I can take advantage of chromes synced bookmarks tabs history etc              Does what its supposed to

Not perfect hence the 4 stars but very intuitive and I love he swipe through stories feature I used to use pulse but the recent updates were just awful I have stuck with them because I couldnt find anything better I finally found a replacement in newsblur Thank you Some suggestions ability to rename a folder once created when pictures are linked show them larger gif compatibility seems like some gifs work some dont ability to subscribe to a feed from a shared article              Great app

It appears that when following a link to a page within the app that there is no longer a way to close the page and return to the app This started happening after the recent iOS update     Current version and iOS update

NewsBlur was not even on my radar until my friend mentioned it to me I cant thank him enough It was exactly what I need to overcome RSS feed overflow You can mark any words in an article or title that you want to focus on or ignore There is a view that shows your focused articles that contain tags you like so you dont have to wade through the BS to find the articles you want to read 5 stars for sure                 No competition

The iPhone version is great and it just keeps getting easier to use and more powerful with every version And the iPad version is even better                 I use the Newsblur app more than any other app on my phone

Ive used this App for months and found it to be great I just downloaded the update I received today and cannot use the program any more Article titles cover 23 of the page left to right obliterating a 13 or more of the column that should have shown the article itself Not a big problem since that last column where the article should be is completely BLANK Went from 5 stars to 1 star since I cannot give it Zero stars I hope a fix is in the works IPad2 with IOS 7     Last Update Spoiled this App

Ive been looking for a replacement for Zite since they started filling my feed with garbage I never subscribed to and advertisements disguised as news Ive downloaded many readers Today I can finally delete Zite I wont miss it                 Love it

Version 4 brings tremendous improvements in speed usability sharing What a great app NewsBlur is now the best way to keep on top of mounds of RSS posts                 Version 4 really comes into its own

This app its a nice app to read news you need an account to ensure that you will get your saved news on your computer too but you only can save your news on ONLINE MODE if you save a new on OFFLINE MODE you will lose you important news and you will need to search again for all that past news a very frustrating to do This app need a lot work on edition and working on offline mode also the tags are imposible to delete Anyway a good app to lose your time better search for other app for news     Nice reader but need A LOT WORK YET

This is the best news reader Ive ever used and that includes Feedly and Reeder I cant believe how fast it syncs which is super important since I do most of my reading offline underground The trainer is my favorite feature though I cant live without it and nobody else has anything close Thank you NewsBlur                 Better than Feedly and Reeder

Great app Recommended The unread marks are a bit wonky though and dont always update properly within a session So some bugs to iron out it seems But almost totally solid I rely on it daily                 Best

Update Broken sharing When I share to pocket I get redundant Saved popups on my screen that make the app incredibly cumbersome to use Please fix this Original review I have probably hitched on to every single RSS type service since the deprecation of Google reader Among my two favorite is NewsBlur and feed wrangler Im ultimately using NewsBlur as my day to day RSS service because of how well the app manages complexity Also there is a consistent interface across web iPad and iPhone     A Big Fan

Update 121614 wish I hadnt done that Now I cant read articles because the list on the left side covers them halfway I hope someone fixes soon because the app is currently useless Update 121814 I figured out if I doubleclick an item to open it the layout goes back to normal so its just annoying not unusable Overall this is a smooth and functional transition from google reader though I agree with previous reviews that we should be able to delete feeds One other feature I have already missed in my brief tryout is the ability to click through to the source material If I just want to read the articleblogetc no problem But if I want to read or write comments Well I just realized I havent tried to do it inapp In google you could not post comments through reader so I clicked through to comment I will check on whether I can comment from within this app But either way I think there will be times when I would like to click on an article and get transferred to the web browser as I did in Reader           Wish I could

This app is killer The only thing I wish theyd do is add a share button in Safari Otherwise its an ideal app This is the app I probably use the most on my phone I dont know what Id do without it This app is a part of my everyday life I love it                 I use this app every single day

Does no one do updates correctly I dread updates because it is more likely to cause a problem as fix one and the Newsblur update was no exception It went from a mostly functioning useful app to an app that will not open I hate to lose this app but my patience for trying to figure out these problems is gone so I will switch readers     Do not update

I have used Newsblur on my iPad for almost two years and I absolutely love it Newsblur has been absolutely perfect for my need I recently got an iPhone 6 Plus because of how it operates so similarly to an iPad when in landscape mode namely the twocolumn view present in many system apps I was disappointed to see that there wasnt a twocolumn view in this app despite it being updated for the iPhone 6 Plus If you added this feature I would be absolutely thrilled and I would once again consider this app perfect Plus I dont think that any other RSS readers have implemented such a feature so you could be ahead of the competition Please strongly consider adding this feature because Im sure that many people could get use out of it              Missing 2Column View on iPhone 6 Plus

Newsblur is the Google Reader successor youve been waiting for With the new iOS app I spend time reading sharing and commenting not thinking about what service to use or how to work around limitations                 So smooth I take it for granted

NewsBlur was my app of choice for a Google Reader replacement and Ive really enjoyed how the developer has continued to improve all aspects of the service but especially the iOS app This latest update is a big improvement that makes me confident again that I made the right choice with NewsBlur                 Big Improvements to a Great Newsreader

Update 5 stars This app keeps getting better Its updated for the iPhone 6 and looks and runs great I really recommend this for a news group reader This seems like a pretty good replacement for some of the google reader bound apps I paid for a subscription as Im done with google reader and need a replacement and the NewsBlur service had to shut off free accounts due to being overwhelmed with new subscribers This app itself is fairly barebones but works ok I gave it 4 stars for one reason please give me a way to read from the oldest article first I like to start with the oldest and read chronologically until I have read them all Otherwise you read news in reverse One small nitpick would be to remove the mark all as read from the main reading window as I never use this and would hate to hit it by accident                 Pretty good google reader replacement

I consult my reader several times daily 70 feeds and news blur is very reliable and synchs across all platforms The paid version is a genuine bargain Love it Update better than ever Love that I can save articles                 Xclnt

For the most part the new update seems solid Less crashy faster But there are a few tweaks needed that hold me back from five stars 1 Make the All stories button taller than my folders 97 of the time I am browsing All Stories because I read my whole feed every day But that all stories label is a very small touch target 2 Allow me to toggle sharing services on and off The new sharing pane is ridiculously painfully crowded Please let me toggle off services I never intend to use like Readability Overall a wonderful app              New updates looks good needs some tweaks

Ive used this app for several years It was my all time favorite app until I updated it yesterday Now it is unusable Article titles now cover two thirds of the screen covering up half of the article itself I can no longer read the article making the app unusable Please tell me how I can downgrade It used to be a five star app     Last Update Ruined This App

Love newsblur but please make the back button from Chrome go to the folder and not the main newsblur page It used to work like this and was awesome Now its annoying to use the back button           Latest update introduced annoying quirk

I enjoyed using Newsblur while it worked While accessing a feed the app suddenly crashed and now it continues to try to load only to crash I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result Newsblur support has concluded that something is wrong with iPad but unfortunately only their app is misbehaving Ive been a paid subscriber for about 6 months or so but without iPad access will have to find another product     Worked But Then It Crashed

I used Feedly for months and I cant believe how much better NewsBlur is This app is faster works offline and costs less for a subscription Cant believe I didnt download it sooner                 Better than Feedly

Holy cow how did I not find NewsBlur earlier It lets me train stories and hide the crap I dont want to see Ive also gotten into sharing stories and absolutely love reading what others find This app is also incredibly fast and works offline Im sold                 Better than Feedly

I really like this app It works well in windows and Mac browsers I paid to upgrade However since latest iOS update double clicking on an article retrieves only the top half and the bottom half is blank I also wish it had a hierarchicalthread like categorization eg a lot of news has a nearly similar subject nice if it could group all similar articles in one thread read one or two and dismiss the whole thread as read           Love it but
