OnePAD is the one-page-a-day notebook that works on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and syncs using your iCloud account. There are no files or folders , just one page for every day of the ...
The latest update has made this much more useful as the blank pages from the past can be skipped plus the font size can be very simply adjusted by pinchzoom Its almost a barebones interface which makes it easy to use but its also quite functional Great for a daily journal or for collecting scraps of information What would really be helpful is support for Dropbox or a way to email a page or all nonblank pages                 Simple and useful
Works well on one device but I want whatever I enter on my iPhone to sync to my iPad and viceversa It will sync occasionally but not reliably There needs to be a sync button to force a sync when desired        Does not sync reliably
Please add emailing the page or pages ASAP           Share
Love the update An awesome dependable writing app Thank you for the continued updates                 Love This App
I have many of these types of app This one is quite simple and does the job without complicated extras Couldnt be more pleased Had a sync problem Emailed support and got an answer within 5 min Emailed back and forth for a half hour and got a response as if I were on the phone Everything works as advertised Well worth the money for iPhone and iPad Steve                 Great appoutstanding support
Everything is there color options export opens ready to type Greatest thing is SEARCH Yes I second the request for multiple Pads separate journals                 Very very Good
This app is great for writing notes quickly I love the UI and the simplicity this is the only notepad I use now Great work developers                 Just Perfect
This app is straightforward and uncomplicated Ive never encountered any glitches or problems A great note keeper                 Simple and dependable
Such a simple and great idea I use it to write down stuff that I think I probably wont need but if I ever do I can search for it and find it This clears up space in the note applications I use I treat it as an archive for information                 Great idea
This would be a nice journal app if it was password protected I wanted it for personal journaling Also theres no way to back it up or save it on Dropbox or similar           Not password protected
This app successfully merges my phone with a paper notebook There are things I wish it could do but what it does it does brilliantly                 Paper Notebook Lovers Dream
Version 13 I like it Enough to want a OnePAD for work and another OnePAD for a personal journal Too bad I cant have multiple installs of this app Please add ability to maintain more than one pad separate pads for different contexts              Multiple OnePADS anyone
Trying this out for my daily dev journal So far so good                 Swimmingly simple
Ive spent years keeping paper notebooks where I jot everything down This replicates that without being too preciously skeuomorphic                 Great simple works the way Im used to working
I needed a place to write in like a journal but just blank pages and the freedom to structure them any way I chose I did not want any templates or rules or limitations It is perfect I can turn pages back to whatever date I want OR just choose a day from the drop down menu I can export it where I want and archive it in case my phone crashes Wish all apps were like this I bought 6 before I found Onepad                 This app is sooo user friendly
This app was just what I wanted a simple way to write down my notes and thoughts with a date stamp I used it as a daily diary on a vacation trip I also like the export to text file feature Had stopped using it much until recently and now it seems to be glitching and wont turn the page forward to review Also sometimes skips backward by a couple of months I do like the app but hope the problem gets fixed or I will quit using it Rated 3 only for that           Just what I wanted
Very glad I decided to download and try this app                 Simple Elegant Easy Useful
I like this app works great on my iPhone and ipad but on my ipad mini it will not open Contacted the developer and he sent me a fix but it did not work Will give it 5 stars when it works on on my ipad mini           Great but
103014 I downloaded the recent upgrade today but when I reopened this iPad app I was stunned to discover that 3 years of daily entries up thru 1029 were GONE How is that for an app you want to rely on Im only sorry that a 1star rating is the lowest Apple lets me enter Stay away stay FAR away from this app     Lost 3 years of daily journal entries
This is a really useful app I just wish it could be pinched to change the size andor the ability to change font size was built in I could use it without my reading glasses Either of those would get five stars from me              Good app
This is a nice simple functional app but it definitely seems like my notes are locked in this app with no way of getting them out other than cut and paste           What importsharing functions
changing my previously positive review i still agree the interface is simple clean fast and nofrills but this app lost months of my important data around the time apple upgraded to icloud Drive neither the developer nor Apple Engineering could get my data back and eventually the developer stopped trying Day One is the reliable journal app that you want not this unless you arent concerned with losing your work     LOST DATA
This is my goto app for jotting things down during the day I dont think theres anything else like it Thanks for listening to to your customers on upgrades                 Fantastic app
The concept of this app is great and I want to be able to use it but it continues to have problems syncing with iCloud One would like to be able to edit an entry on one device and be able to continue editing that entry on another device Thats the entire idea behind the iCloud mechanism as its implemented for this app But you just dont know when your entries will be updated across devices if they ever will be Sometimes the erratic syncing causes data loss because disparate entries are overwritten This problem is a dealbreaker I would prefer to use this app over the native Notes app or Evernote but both of those apps sync across devices reliably Until OnePAD does so as well it is more or less useless Surely the developers realize this And if not well it will be their loss all for a simple bit of functionality that other developers seem to have little trouble implementing        iCloud Sync Unreliable
Its not a superfancy journal with tags and icons but a superquickclean catchall for the thoughts lists and bits of info that slide by every day For many people this is a perfect combination Todo and Whats Done list Searchability is excellent Would love to see some markdown options added but Im happy Reportedly the os7 update may include TextExpander Support I had major sync issues with iCloud but the developer sent me clear instructions and iCloud resolved without any data loss Working great now There are some hidden gizmos so click around Tapping the date brings up the date wheel Spreading fingers changes font size And there is a setting button in the Main Settings area now for OnePAD for Date and Lines                 OnePAD Nothing Else Like It
I jumped at this app to have the aspect of a daily journal and a place to keep my todos I wish it had a feature or section that would automatically carry forward todos from day to day until the task is marked complete or removed With that journals and notes would stay with the day created Other than that it is great to have a daily journal              Great and could be better
Great app Despite having Day One which I use for personal entries as it supports passcode lock I am using this for taking my daily meeting notes using the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover One star missing for no export options              Awesome
It seems that all the other apps in this category all try and throw in everything the kitchen sink and a handy tip calculator I like this one because it stupid simpleyou got a page for each day you can search or go to another days pagethats it And the best plus of allno inapp purchases I wont even buy an app if it has inapp purchases anymore I really dont care if the reviews are positive either My only gripes that I would like to see in an update 1 the OPTION For a monthly calendar instead of the dial wheel for selecting a day 2 some way to get the text out in mass like maybe a WebDAV server to simply download a zip of all notes or something I dont fully trust apps if I cant get the stuff I put inout somehow              Just what I have been looking for
Let me tell you why this app works for me For years Ive been writing blog posts and essays with a bunch of openended thoughts and notes in between The problem has been that I often didnt know which things would turn into publishable content and which things were simply part of recording my ongoing mental processes My attempts at maintaining and organizing all of these snippets and unfinished posts has become tedious and overwhelming This right now seems like the optimal solution I simply write my thoughts are collected day by day and if I end up with something that deserves to be published or shared more widely I can copy it to its own specific external location In addition this app has several export options which means Im not locked in my number one criterion for any kind of app these days                 Let me tell you why this app works for me
Great app Excellent customer response                 SuperSmooth
Love this app and have used it regularly for a couple of years Of all the amazing productivity apps that are out there OnePads noteaday structure still makes the most sense For me its become an uncomplicated todo list task manager calendar and notepad that I start my writing projects in It provides one simple canvas for everything happening today without having to give thought to a complex structure or multiple apps Note All two years of entries transported over with this update                 Simply productive
A good simple note app nice simple UI that isnt overburdened with features Would love a few things to make it 5 stars Dropbox support over iCloud storing each day as a separate plain text file Choice of themes especially a simple black text on white paper background The brown on brown isnt pleasant on my eyes Choice of fonts nothing outrageous just a few serif choices as well              Great and simple
