Ive spent much of the day trying out the various free scanner apps out there and also purchase this one Im not disappointed It has scanned all of the codes Ive created so far VERY quickly and accurately Nice job                 Very good

Ive downloaded and tried 3 different QR scanners and this one is well ahead of the others It also has a super simple QR creation function I use it all the time                 Best QR Option

I like this app it is easy to use Please make this app universal so it works for both iPad and iPhone that will be great                 This the best qr scanner by far

Scanning and generating QR codes couldnt be easier Optiscan works great on the iPhone 4 Results are fast and accurate The UI graphics are made for the iPhone 4 and are high res clean and easy to navigate Contact sharing worked great all the elements I included for the generator were revealed when the code was scanned I native iPhone UI integration is better then another well ranked QR app called Quickmark doesnt display contact info using iPhone UI I also use the Quickmark app but its a bit buggy with contact code generating I keep it around because it will scan other barcodes in addition to QR codes Might be a nice feature to add different code types for future releases of Optiscan then I wouldnt have to keep the other app                 Great QR App made for iPhone 4

Save your money and dont buy this app is just like Qreaderit cant scan any QR codes 1 star is pushing it                 Dont buy

This is such a great tool I am stumped for something critical to say one minor thing is that if i create a QR that has numbers in it that are not phone numbers the app assigns them to phone numbers i cant figure out how to stop that otherwise really great app              Amazing

My company produces mobile content for our clients and tie it to printed material with QR codes for tracking purposes Optiscan is what we use when demonstrating what QR codes can do We also use it to email codes right from the iPhone when we create them on the fly Weve tweeted about this app in the past as our go to app for QR codes and it still is Really nice app                 Possible the best QR code scancreate app

I purchased the app while attending a conference and wanted to use it to scan name badges The scanning codes looked similar to those shown on this apps info page in iTunes so I thought Id give it a try I was unable make it read the codes as desired However the application is configured to open a dialog window in the event of an error so that you can give permission for a trouble ticket to be transmitted to the publisher I allowed it to send the exception message and received an email from the publisher about a day later indicating that the code I was scanning was not a type that could be read by the app Thumbs up for the support feature within the app and for the publisher response to the support notification via email Thumbs down for the publisher who didnt offer a courtesy refund after seeing that the software was useless for me The moral Learn your bar codes before buying scanner apps        A waste of my money but not the app

Just downloaded Optiscan and tried to read the same codes my husband just read with FREE barcodescanner for his droid His scanned every code and optiscan couldnt read a single one Why did I pay for this     What was I thinking

Cant make QR code of geo location only of contacts web url and text It can decode from photo album QR codes made by other apps but it wont save its own created QR codes to photo album so you cant really see if the code that was created has the info you wanted Its very limited in features I bought it on sale for 99 and I really feel sorry for those who paid 199 for this crappy app     Downloaded it yesterday deleted it today

All of its functionality is intuitive and discoverable I would like to see it updated to support the resolution of the iPhone 6 and 6 and I would also like the ability to pinchtozoom while scanning              Excellent QR reader in need of some maintenance

After purchasing a barcode app that didnt meet my needs I found Optiscan and find it does exactly what I need for storing a lot of data into a single code Very pleased with ease of use                 Very Useful
