An effective to do manager. Use our Master Task to get everything off your mind, easily glance at your day or week on the Planner, move from the list to the schedule. Finally drag and ...
I loved this app I used it every day for the last couple of years and paid the price gladly I was so excited when I could sync with my iPhone iPad because my travel schedule is brutal To pay 25 every year that is just plain highway robbery The lack of updates over the years makes me believe that this will be mostly unsupported Why oh why torture us I will adapt I will use my free calendar that syncs nicely so that I don t lose appointments and tasks I am not opposed to purchasing the mobile app but to pay for the privilege over and over again My love affair with Opus is crushed Apparantly Opus does not appreciate their customers who have been loyal users over the years I have goals and a mission My goal is to save for the important things in my life so Goodbye Opus UPDATE DO NOT PURCHASE I am warning you unless you like to pay over and over and over again Find something simple that works for you I now use Things Everytime an app goes this way we must say no unless we all want to keep paying for stuff over and over Say No with your wallet the developers will eventually get the picture But as long as we pay every year we get whatwe deserve     Goodbye Opus One Happy.cloud
This is an awesome app I orginally tried the free version Opus Lite and Opus editions to compare I decided on Opus One because of the print features The Compass and Goal sections helps you to make plans and really think about what you would like to do What is even more awsome is the search feature If you use tags or not you can search and pull every entry with that specific word in it You can filter the list and see only meetings with that key word or task for example The various themes make the app useful for those who like a variety and a bit of change It really FEELS like you are using a planner that sits on your desk If I could make suggestions I would like to be able to close the planner and have it sit on my desktop as a closed booked really give it a life like feel I would also like to see an expense or check tracker tab feature added then there would really be no need to go anywhere else One word of caution when selecting the subscription time frame FREE TRAIL choose the method you really want I chose 1 week trial monthly subscription at first to see all the features and was so impressed that within hours I switched to the 1 month trial yearly subscription Well just a bit of a glitch when the one week free trial expired it wanted me to renew at the yearly rate even though I did not get to use the 1 month free trial I put in a ticket in to see how this can be corrected and will add another review with the results just for followup At any rate I will still purchse the product and recommend it for business and personal use Update the developers contacted me promptly and resovled the issue Highly recommend                     The Best Time Mangagment and Comprehensive Planner Yet darocole
Downgrading the star status again Been weeks No phone call from anyone to assist with syncing the applications Instead I get a boilerplate email stating that they are sorry I am experiencing a problem but please download our update on the S W and it shoudl fix it I ve done this TWICE now and neither update solved anything Good application for the desktop but if you think it s going to sync with your iPad or iPhone you re in for a rude awakening It doesn t and their help is clueless on how to fix it Moreover their customer service is non existent They simply don t care if you are not happy with the way the app works My initial review is below I am downgrading this to TWO stars because after several days their support staff has yet to call me or provide any assistance with syncing the applicaiton on my desktop and my iPad despite paying a monthly fee that is supposed to cover this Instead on Saturday at around 3 PM they send an email stating that their latest update fixes the sync problem I download the update and big surprise it still does not sync like it is supposed to What is even more frustrating is that nobody at this place has sent a link or a write up and they certainly will not bother picking up the phone to explain how to go about fixing what I would think shoudl be an easy problem If you want this application to sync stay away And if you experience any technical difficulties in the future don t hold your breath waiting for assistance from Opus One It s non existent This is a great productivity application Very well done Replicates the Franklin Covey system and actually makes it even better The application however does not sync with your iPad or phone It says that it will if you enable the cloud and purchase the premium opiton I did both and it just does not sync at all When I asked for help I received a resposne about 7 days later via email they won t call you or provide you with any actual you know dialog with someone that will actually help you asking if I had tried to sync manually and apologizing for the lack of response According to the person who contacted me it was due to the company being purchased by someone else I let the person know I had no idea what a manual sync was and that their website and help manual didn t even address that I also asked again for a response from someone I could speak with to fix this annoying issue It s been about another seven days and I have yet to get a response I honestly don t think they care they got their premium fee from me so they re content with it I guess Overall a good app but be aware that it will not sync if you re using Apple products     Sync will not work and NO HELP from staff bigB 74
Would not recommend Would not become pro version after subscription Program is an updated copy of Opus Domini or borrowed from it heavily Has two different listings for subscriptions one for Opus One Mac OS 24 00 Opus One iOS for iphone another 24 00 I unsubcribed from both Too expensive for what it does Go with another option     Recommened other options JoiLC
I purchased the Opus Domini a couple of years ago and loved the look and how I didnt miss the paper journal anymore I ve always been amazed at how this is such a crazy market to not have cornered in the App Industry These folks have done it I LOVE LOVE LOVE that this looks like an actual planner on my iPad and how the tabs are what I need and what I m used to Thank you to the developers for updating and getting this program back to where its stable for me to use again This is well worth the money you ll go through many more apps and paper Just buy it all ready and get organized you won t regret it especially if you re used to Franklin Covey setup                     Franklin Covey watch out Hallmark45
It s amazing how closely this follows the Franklin Planner system that I have used for 20 years A lot easier than toting that book now that I have it on Iphone and iPad It syncs flawlessly with iMac MacBook Pro iPad iPhone Very quick and effective responses from developer for minor problems I have used Things ToDo and other apps which are okay for task listing but because this incorporates Goal Planning Governing Values Roles Mission Statement it keeps me focused on what s important to me I have waited and waited for Franklin Covey to do this                     Finally a replacement for Franklin Planner rangelof
Opus One is a very thorough planning app and has lots of tips for life planning Definitely worth the subscription                     Very thorough planner app in_the_now
Having used and taught time management for over 25 years I became frustrated with the electronic time management applications of years ago None of them were complete until I came across Opus One This app is fantastic I ve used it for about a year and found it works perfectly across my iPad Pro iPhone iMac and MacBook Pro I have no difficulty syncing and the minor issues I have encountered were resolved pretty quickly by the support team From the Misson setup to the Eisenhower Matrix from Goal setting and prioritizing daily tasks to the notes page for referenceing information from meetings to ideas this app is a powerhouse It s easy to use especially if you re used to the Day Timer or Franklin Covey time management system and it s well supported This one has my strongest recommendation                     Finally an app that is a true time mgt app MacN1
Really like this program EXCEPT for ongoing problem with syncing across icloud to other devices Gets an F for that I ve submitted several customer service requests and each has been timely and politely answered BUT ultimately all have proved useless Some of the updates have ostensibly corrected syncing problem but reality is that they don t work App will sync from iMac to iPhone seamlessly for a time then enter a perpetual sync mode where it gets stuck apparently trying to sync but not able to do it Sometimes closing the program on iMac and restarting it makes the problem go away and syncs resume properly Other times no such luck Have even deleted the app entirely after saving data into iMac backup then reinstalled but problem immediately reappeared Steve Texas                 Would be GREAT if cloud syncs worked FTW TX lawyer
I think I have only written one other review but I am using this app so much that I thought I would give the team there a shout out I have purchased and or used about a dozen calendar and to do apps over the past few years It always seemed that something was missing in each of them not so with Opus One It lets me use the hybrid David Allen Franklin Covey system I use just like I would on paper Syncs well with iPhone iPad MacMini and MaxAir As one other reviewer mentioned I initially had a glitch getting them all to sync but the support team worked it out and set good information on what needed to be done and where Unlike a lot of apps this one has a full user manual Although it is very easy to use I have opened the manual access from the Mac version and got familiar with some of the deep functionality I like the Eisenhower Matric and the Weekly Planner for that productivity overview I sometimes need The only think they could add that would set my world on fire is the ability to use my Apple Pencil in the notes view on the iPad but even there they thought things through with an icon for a date time stamp Great app                     Best Productivity App I Have Purchased TravelPam
As a fan of the Franklin Covey planning system I love the ability that this app provides to keep track of and prioritize by day each of my daily tasks Additionally this app allows me the ability to keep track of a Master list of tasks that don t need to be scheduled yet I m using the app across multiple platforms simultaneously including my desktop MAC MAC Book Pro iPad Pro and my iPhone 7 At first it was working great with all of the data being synchronized between all the devices Then for some reason that I still don t understand my Pro subscription of which I pay monthly wasn t being recognized by three of my four devices After reaching out to Piso13 developers of this app support team they were able to suggest some actions that eventually resulted in a successful solution where all devices are recognizing my Pro Subscription account again thereby synchronizing my data across all platforms Aside from this temporary challenge of which their support team was able to fix I m thrilled to have access to a great time and activity management tool Love this app                     Love this app Happy2Golf
I like the app and giving it a try to some others I am looking for something that allows me to jot my notes down in a daily planner along with who I met and what the decisions and action items are The things I like The calender view Action item headers allowing me to see what action items i have by project this surprised me as something I would like Notes area Meeting Planner Meeting Minutes What I would like to see for future improvements In the notes area allow me to Bold underline and use bullet points I would also like to use various font colors vs making everything one color The header above the notes area seems to take up a lot of space I can t figure out a way to change that other than turning it off Add custom theme It looks like there is an option for it but can t figure out how             Trying out the trial cstrause
I LOVE this app I m a long time user of it and Opus Domini previously and I recommend it to all of my friends I use it on all of my devices I haven t had a problem until this last update When I open the app it says that it is verifying the app then says it is damaged and I need to delete and reinstall it I have done this several times and it doesn t fix the problem Opus One Support seems to be lagging I would love to just be able to download the previous version which was working perfectly fine for me Please help UPDATE This newest update 1 4 6 fixed my issues The team of developers worked DILIGENTLY with me until the problem was solved Thank you so much I m a customer for life AAA                     Latest update broken on my iMac El Capitan Pixie dusted
25 per year subscription required to access the features I was after As it stands it is an ok planner but I do get p ssed at the subscription model Just sell me the darned thing         Crippleware Doug & the Borzoi
This is as close to the good ole paper Franklin planner that I was used to for years The Mission Goals Master Tasks and priorities are all as you would expect from a planner and is wonder to use There were some prior issues I was having with Syncing to iCloud that were resolved after some emails exchanged with Piso13 via their support site They were helpful and worked through the issue and resolved it with an update That was outstanding service Thank You Piso13 for this app It was exactly what I needed                     Favorite Planner app for Mac OSX and IOS mntimmah
This has everything I need 1 A place to set goals for regular review 2 A place to list tasks for the day and easily rearrange them by dragging dropping as I wish 3 Move a task to a different date altogether by dragging dropping onto that date on the monthly calendar 4 Integrates with calendar my ical and google calendar so that I can easily view my appointments along with my tasks 5 A place to take notes so that I can reflect back on what I did for that day if necessary 6 Shows the weather forecast 7 Allows me to add photos maps audio recordings and drawings 8 You may change your fonts and some colors not a lot of choices but some 9 Probably has more functions that I have not listed 10 Have it on both iPhone and laptop and cloud syncs the info This integrates what I liked about a hand written planner and a digital planner This is a great app                     Love This happilytransformed
Ditto TOR81 on the broken subscription system It d be nice if there was a post somewhere that acknowledges this issue I tried reinstalling on the iPhone but it still doesnt work I like this program on my Mac so I hope this is fixed soon One star until it works     Please fix the SYNC modo7585
Subscibed a few months ago on a rolling monthly basis but have been unable to access my subscription for approximately 3 weeks Current subscription valid until mid April but software does not recognize Tech support are of no help so subscription will not be renewed when it expires Nice product when it works but just hopoeless tech support                     Subscription system is not working TOR81
I have been using Opus One for over the past 7 months They have steadily been making changes and improvements What sets Opus One apart is the combination of tasks calendar and notes I love to journal or keep notes along with having specific tasks to plan There really is nothing else that competes with this program I have had no problems with my laptop iPhone and iPads There are bugs from time to time but I think the company is working those out One negative feature is that tasks do not directly sync with Apple Reminders Otherwise this program will help you plan track and review Highly recommended                     Notes and Tasks Great Combination Pclindstrom
There is absolutly NO customer support When they do finally answer you they don t know the answers to your question I received a refund and recommend you find another app     Don t buy rrcoda777
I have used Opus Domini for quite a while It was the predecessor to this app It appears the developers stopped supporting it a while ago I had been quite happy with Opus Domini and had it across multiple devices Opus Domini made by the same developers as this app Piso13 apparently stopped supporting the app because it works very poorly as operating systems have been updated In my frustration with the Opus Domini app I tried to find suppport from the developer or community and there was none At that point I realized that the developer Piso13 made a new app Opus One the one I am reviewing now What s new with this app not much except now they charge a subscription I was not happy about this but decided to look into it because I liked the FranklinCovey style planning system I downloaded Opus One and it looks and feels similar to their original software Because of my past support issues with Opus Domini I decided to check the support before upgrading to the subscription Surprise surprise there is no support Their website is full of people open support tickets with no response from the developer Don t waste your time or money on this app I would have been very disappointed if I paid for this app Looke elsewhere     Good attempt but falls short Needle Doctor
I upgraded from Opus Domini when that version did not work on my new OS Not thrilled with some of the changes they made in the software but I though I could work through them After a month of using the trial version I realized I could no longer search for any of my past activities I decided I would make the move and upgrade to the pro version However in the meantime they had moved to a Subscription version of the software That was the end of my relationship I would have given Opus one 4 stars if I could have purchased the software with out signing up for a subscription     OK until Saddened by the change
I ve been using the planner for a few months and it s the closest to a Franklin covey planner I ve found anywhere Perfect layout and sync across the iPhone Great software and value                     Excellent Planner Best out there Jawilla1
Good idea for a product that doesn t work do not become a pro it will take your money and you ll have to start all over with a new install     This company is a total rip off trepidatious_g
