PadFolios - iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Portfolio

I just purchased this app Loaded pics into one portfolioand everytime I try to add to another portfolioit crashes on me GRRRRRR wasted 1000     Crashes

Your app is worse than the rest Confusing and crashes constantly Two minutes in and Im hating Want my money back     Bad app

I really like the customization this app allows and I find it very intuitive HOWEVERthis app quits on me often when I try adding images and sometimes during portfolio display Im follow the directions to the letter This issue is a very bad thing and needs to be address in the next update In reading the reviews for this app Im not the only one having this problem Otherwise a great app           I like the Concept

It took me some time to write this review I have purchased every portfolio app that has become available in the iTunes Store To say that they are all perfect far from it BUT this one is close and the only one that has given to me and my Agency the most positive comments to date It is not perfect but the support is From the start I wrote to Juan telling him I would not purchase another portfolio app until I was ready to read reviews etc I followed his steps each and every way he had via his webs site twitter fb etc After a while I purchased it and decided it was time to try it I have no used it on several occasions to promote my Advertising Agency Illustrations Photography Design etc It is truly impressive and so is the support Juan is giving to it He is alone trying to listen learn and develop Padfolio into the best Portfolio app available Given time he will Never a negative comment always positive and himself a Photographer and Graphic Designer knows what is needed but also listens to comments and suggestion from others Invest in Padfolio and in time it will be what we all want I have had very little issues with it and have all 10 Padfolios sections being used for various work All with many images in each Set up was quick and easy was it perfect no was the learning curve easy yes but ti takes time and once your into it and know how it works everything flows with ease The clients I have seen love the Padfolio from displaying a full section to individual images it just works and is impressive to a client I have made suggestions many in fact that Juan has thought of has been requested as well and in time he will implement them Its not easy for someone to learn and be able to produce this from scratch and he should be praised for his efforts to date Support him its only 999 but this will encourage him to continue I have over 1000 apps now very few support their software like he does or even answer emails with questions The others I have tried either freeze crash or just dont work making for presentations almost impossible I have now used it in the field with to potential clients now for over two weeks and it has worked I cannot ask for more Sure there are features I need sure there are methods to make it work questionable and could be easier I could go on but compared to the rest in the field on iTunes it is the best so far I will be continuing to help Juan with the development of this not for any other reason than to see it succeed If it does and I am using it for my Agency then I will also succeed It is s selling tool for me my work my Agency and the people with me I want the best to display my best Help support what I think is going to be the best Portfolio App available soon With everyone purchasing it and your feedback Juan can make this the app we want I gave it 5 Stars for a reason I cant give it 45 its not perfect but close The Support is 5 Stars                 Best of all portfolio apps available

If an app cant even show the same resolution photos that the builtin photo app shows it has no business claiming to be retina ready Files are limited to 3072x3072 No mention of this on their website only inside the app        Not retina ready despite their claims

Very handy for showing finished jewelry pieces as well as colors and materials for custom work              Great for showing work on the go

GREAT APP 100 RECOMMENDED Easy to usegreat app when you show your work to clientsindustries with different objectives in mind With the 12 update this app has improved a LOT now you CAN rearrange images and delete them with the edit window which is great Also you can change the home screen title and theres an option to customize the way the images are shown border round corners Definitely is the best portfolio app on the App Store I cant wait to see next update                 Great App

Please make changing picture order possible What happened to click and hold then drag icons when theyre shaking           Good but needs improvements

I found this app very easy to use and it looks great However I also found as some others did that when you complete one portfolio images from another disappear FINALLY got it to work but took about 4 tries though Frustrating Also when updating images in each portfolio you have to delete and put ALL back in you cant replace just the ones you want to           Easy to use but needs work

This app needs a few notches more elegance before it can be considered a pro portfolio app For one thing you can never lose the P icon which is distinctly not pro unless your brand starts with a P and then you might be able to sell this to a client Also the thumbnail layout which has no options at all makes horizontal images to appear smaller on the Height axis than vertical images Again not slick not pro And then theres the Plus and Checkmark icons that appear above and below the image when youre in fullscreen mode Do you really want cute orange plus and checkmark icons surrounding your image and have to explain what they mean to the client who could care less I want my images full screen Period No confusing icons that offer further information that I dont want to include anyway And for that matter because youre stuck with these icons that means you have to address them which means a lot more work I certainly dont want to client to click the icon and get presented with an information page about the image that is blank And dont get me started on the limitation of the interface or the front page or the lack of a back page all in all this app is not for pros        Not For Serious Pros

Im a makeup artist working with publications and advertising I purchased this app in order to display my books to potential clients The app is very user friendly I was able to create my books sort images within each book and install my custom background with ease The look is extremely professional and very easy for my clients to scroll through images My only complaint is the app crashes a lot while my clients are scrolling which doesnt look professional It comes back up easily but its the crash which takes away from the flow of showcasing work to a potential client that I would like to see fixed in a future update           The app fits my needs but crashes often

Total waste if money for me I bought this to be able to control which images appear in a slideshow in photo on my Ipad I can do that though it is a bit difficult to use But you cannot email the presentation or send to anywhere at all so it is completely useless for me I dont make nperson presentations most are online I need to be able to email them put them on a Facebook Page etc i found Pages did everything I needed better     Disappointing

This is a well put together and user friendly app It allows you to separate your art into different categories that you name yourself if you wish such as Paintings Sculptures Drawings etc my only wish is that it would have the capability to be used as a screen saver for which I am told by the developer is coming in the future I would highly recommend it                 Awesome App

Variety of options is impressive I am also having trouble with vanishing folios with an iPhone 4 This is simply a functionality bug that needs tweaking Otherwise a great tool overall I could do without the permanent black drop shadow on the main titled folio page              Very good workinprogress

I have purchased a lot of portfolio apps and tried keynote This in the most intuitive an customizable portfolio app I can get it closest to a design and interface I like I would like some of the download and transferability the I found in Portfolio for iPad to be added to this app It would be great if I could save a gallery and send it it a client which they could upload into their PadFolio App that would make it 5              Best portfolio app so far

I truly enjoy this app There is some room for growth It would be nice to be able to add captions such as titles prices or info to the pictures but as it stands its still worth it Perfect for if youre out somewhere and wishing to show your work to a potential client In a professionally displayed manner                 Artist

Looks great untill you need to delete a pic Then suddently ALL of your set portfolios starts to delete themselves Please FIX        Needs work Badly

I am on the older iPad I hope you will still support it Yes it crashes often when adding photos but when its working it is beautiful I am not giving up on it Keep coming up with improvements If you need a tester Im willing Thanks Lar              I love it but it needs some usability updates

I recently criticized the previous updated version for replacing the interface without warning guess what They really listened and in record time put out this new version with an option to revert to the classic version of the opening page Thank you I will now highly recommend this fantastic app once again                 Fantastic product from a company that really listens

This is a good app but my iPhone 4s crashes when I load photos and also when I choose a album Looking forward to updates to correct this              Bugs

Good app I would like to see additional features though 1 Be able to reorder the portfolio sequence 2 make the picture scroll through to the beginning again or better yet go backwards from the start 3 Better options for the home page background I want my logo in the center of the portfolio thumbnails 4 Include note below the picture within the particular portfolio without having to drill into the picture Easy interface and am happy with the app              Good but can use more

Just started using this app Could use a few more features Needs better editing back ground options and is a bit expensive           Useful needs work

This app needs development but the few features that this app offers are very solid well thought out and very responsive THE GOOD 1 simple and beautiful design 2 this is the only app out there that doesnt lag when you switch pictures I have purchased several other photo viewers which lagged terribly and I always had to go back to the original and crippled apple photo app There is nothing worst when showing somebody pictures and lagging when doing so 3 somebody mentioned in another review that once you delete picture from a photo app then it is also gone from this app as well I just tested it and this bug appears to be gone THE BAD 1 you still have to add pictures 1 by 1 2 there is a weird bug that when you click on an album the picture on the album shrinks before the folder gets opened 3 you still need to add pictures 1 by 1 4 there is no way to show pictures in a bigger size CONCLUSION This is a great app it needs improvement but it is solid and I will use it as my primary picture viewer I am giving it 4 stars because of the few inconveniences which I hope will be addressed by the developer Basically this is a great app that is still in version 10 It is mature but lacking in some areas              Needs development BUT

I am an artist putting together a portfolio to show my work with this app It is very easy to use looks great and is fully customizable Get this app                 Amazing app

This app is good I needed a portfolio app for all my artwork and this works well I havent really had any issues with this but there are some Additions that would make this app a lot better The main thing I wish this app could do wish you could add animation and video in here instead of just pictures              Good app

I bought Padfolio to have a separate program to store photos in besides the photo program that came with the IPad Unfortunately to get them into Padfolio you have to first bring them into the IPad photos and then add them one by one If you then remove them from the photos program they arent accessible anymore in Padfolio so you still have to keep them there Also after creating a Padfolio of 400 photos the program keeps crashing when I try to open it Ive since deleted it from my Ipad        Disappointed

When I delete a single image from lets say Padfolio 2 the app deletes all images from Padfolio 1 I rebuild the gallery and next time I delete an image from a different gallery again it deletes everything in gallery 1 I tried deleting app and reinstalling Same problem Contacted support No reply If theres a fix Id sure like to know about it Expensive app and worth only if works        Doesnt work well on iPhone 4S

This app was perfect for archiving and presenting artwork I loved the feature of emailing a piece The only problem is when an email is sent the description of it artist date dimensions ect becomes jumbled up onto one line with the picture below it If I could email what is seen on my screen that would make presentation for the clients look more appealing and professional Beautiful job              Exceptional

Im amazed by this app I tried so many different apps and only this one satisfied my needs Now I have my portfolio with me all the time Easy organization great graphics tones of available fonts to choose from Albums created the way you want it to look The best app on the market Buy it now                 The best app for photographers designers etc

The simple clean interface is nice but needs a few improvements such as the ability to change the font and size of the title text custom label the individual folios and add captions           Nice interface but needs some work
