I purchaes this app because it looked more functional than Preview The reviews at the time of purchase were decent However this morning I tried to use it to crop several documents that I had scanned into my computer and every time I tried to crop the program locked up and I had to force quit I looked at the reviews and found a new one calling out the same problem What a waste of my money I would have felt more satisfied if I had watched my money get flushed down the toilet     Crop Feature Doesn t Work Barbara2010qw

This program is a ripoff It has the same interface as iSkysoft PDF Editor Pro The only difference that I can see is that iSkysoft works and this program doesn t The crop function ALWAYS causes the program to stop functioning and requires a force quit I don t know why Apple would sell this software on their website I took it s presence here as a stamp of approval My bad Don t let it be your bad also     Buyer beware rgun49

Always crashes for my statement pdf document when I open it to edit the application quit immediately waste my time and money While this program does have some unique features nothing that I would consider so useful that it out weighs the current bugs of the program it is an okay program that is expensive in relation to its peers given its faults     Crashes all the time still garbage Jack. Program works as advertised features are good for the average user but comes to a crawl on large files with many vectors I use pdf editors to do construction drawing markups and it fails for that application If your main uses are simple documents or slight editing it is a good alternative to the expensive Acrobat Pro 11             Not for large complex documents Birdop

I needed to add text to a pdf file of some sheet music that I had The text editor didn t wrap text correctly It just put a fixed amount of characters on a line and broke the word in the middle or after the first character And I once I entered the text I never could seem to re edit it to put correct word divisions in my lines These are BASIC features of any text editor much less a PDF editor that costs 59 00 A COMPLETE WASTE of my money     Terrible PDF editor Espeically for the price scawa

I spent hours working on creating a form as part of my job Some changes were saved but most were not When I checked it in several PDF apps some of the text boxes were black some had weird characters in them When I opened the pdf form again in PDF Editor Pro the text boxes have changed position This app is a mess I used the Adobe Acrobat in the past and had no problems in any pdf reader Making a form is not rocket science So I contacted customer support and this is the response Please kindly try other PDF files and see whether the same case persists If the case still occurs could you please send us the original pdf file for further inspection at our end We would test it further and get back to you soon Thanks for your cooperation in advance I am not going to mess around for hours trouble shooting their problems If an app does not work I cannot run up hours in my job trying to find the problem And by the way this was a simple form no calculations or special features Just a couple text boxes     I can t recommend this mess KSPAHR

The product is a decent value for the price It s not as full featured as some but it fills my needs without having to have a co signer to pay for it The edition sold in the App Store will not remove the watermark on a pdf created using the trial version Tech support is good but the process of replying to them is broken I had to go back to the web form each time They ask for a review rating but the web page for that cannot be submitted I m guessing because you can t put in the product name I d have rated higher if not for the support issues                 Works for me Radio'grady

I purchased this product because of features present in version 2 0 advertised on Wondershare s website What wasn t advertised was that the Mac App Store version hadn t been updated to version 2 0 released September 7 2012 or even to version 1 6 1 released July 27 2012 If you need this program purchase it form Wondershare directly or else you ll be paying full price for a program that s two months behind on updates with no indication of how soon it will be brought up to date     Don t pay full price for out of date software Chrisagc

I have no idea why people have complained about this app so much I needed to modify some of my documents and this did a great job of it Very easy to use and very intuitive and preview like Just much more advanced The OCR works fantastically well and it saves really well with editable text Like I said the app does everything it claims to do and does it really well It didn t crash on my system at all and Microsoft Word used far more RAM than editor pro My only suggestion or slight dissatisfaction was from the comment box not transferring well Overall Fantastic app must buy for any user who needs to work with PDFs and a major upgrade from the free version The update extras are great too                     Does exactly what it claims and does it very well Txtor

I have another PDF Editor and it is great but this one has tons of features and is fantastic for what I use it for I love playing around with designs and PDF files and making my own creations this is perfect software for taking PDF and doing what you want to it You literally choose a PDF file load it then click the part you want to edit Text images colors It s lots of fun and a great professional tool thus far                     Nice Product NReluctant

This app is not beefy like other PDF editing software its compact and does everything the more expensive softwares do The OCR or Optical Character Recognition works like a charm This feature in itself saves you a lot of time if you need to get something thats only on hardcopy form into the computer to edit ASAP With existing PDFs the app makes it easy to manipulate and modify text and images in a jiffy The other great feature is this app can export your newly created PDF as many different file types MS Office file types EPUB ect on the fly You couldn t ask for more My only complaint is this app needs the ability to make fillable forms if it does I haven t found this feature yet or maybe it will be available in the near future                     Great Mac App Does Everything it Advertises jbtorr03

I purchased this product without doing enough homework beforehand and I am extremely underwhelmed with its lack of features for the price For annotating cropping adding and removing pages from pdf documents the built in Preview app in OS X is by far a superior product and INCLUDED with OS X The only feature I ve discovered that this application has that Preview does not is an OCR function the quality of which is also very poor For 100 I would expect at MINIMUM this product have all of the features of Wondershare s other pdf editing products such as the ability to batch convert crop rename add sound add and remove pdf passwords etc I am a second year med student and I purchased this app to create pdf notebooks from professors powerpoints and textbook web clips to annotate on my iPad in lecture and link recorded audio to the pdf pages The free trial gave the impression that such features would be unlocked in the paid version but unfortunately that was not true The developer should give serious consideration to releasing an update expanding this product s incredibly LIMITED feature set drop the price to the sub 10 range or offer refunds This is an embarrassing unimpressive and largely useless piece of software in its current form v 1 6 0     Overpriced embarassingly light on features jonathanmwarner

I purchased pro version from Apple s app store expecting to have all of the tools necessary to create and edit pdf files After downloading and working with the program for a couple hours I realized that this version only allows cutting and pasting in text edit mode What about shapes and lines The app allows you to create them but does not support copy and paste functions for them Multi line text boxes Nope Except for allowing multi line annotations it does not support multi line text boxes To add insult to injury their Help function doesn t contain much information These are basic tools found in every program Finally I visited the developer s website for support and learned they we On vacation for 10 days but were apologetic for the inconvenience This is not a Pro level application     Not a Pro level product buzzgoss

I m an independent personal trainer Part of my job means I have to deal with forms and documents in PDF format Diet plans tracking sheets for sessions new client questionairres etc I ve found using Acrobat to mark my documents up and manipulate them to be a pain The game changer is the optical character recognition that this software employs Let s see Adobe do that This also makes converting a PDF to a Word Excel or PowerPoint file so simple If you re looking at buying the comercial Acrobat software give this software a try first I think you ll be impressed                     So much easier to use than Acrobat AppReviewerInKC

I really do hate that I wasted money on this program I have a 10 program on my IPad that kills this one I hoped to be able to annotate PDFs easier on my Mac but this program is terribly cumbersome and counterintuitive You cannot type in text on more than one line so you have to keeo hitting add text if you want to write more than one line Changing font colors is arduous and time consuming If you were to compare IAnnotate PDF on my IPad with this program and then have to guess which one cost 100 dollars I bet you would get it wrong Don t waste your money unless they take the effort to dramatically improve this clunker There are MANY more options for annotating with iAnnotate PDF than this program as well Run away run away     Waste of money RussRaider

The program has great OCR software but that s just about as good as it gets If you re a student or someone who likes to annotate documents like me you might not want to download this software When there are multiple columns on a page and you want to highlight something from one column the program highlights the row from the column you re reading as well as the row from the column beside it Preview does a much better job at editing PDFs now that Apple has come out with Lion Preview doesn t have the highlighting issue that PDF Editor Pro has Preview doesn t support OCR but it does allow you to merge documents unlike this app Honestly it was a waste of my 100 apple gift card         Not Great Preview Works Better
