I m on the island of Hawaii and the app doesn t seem to be aware of Mauna Kea It finds Mauna Loa okay but does not even show Mauna Kea even though I m in Hilo looking right at it with the range extended all the way             Little trouble in Big Hawaii C-----

I ve gone through the settings several times closed the app and restarted my phone It doesn t recognize local peaks but it is showing dozens of peaks almost directly over my head They all appear to be in the French alps It s a little cloudy overhead so maybe they re there and I never noticed them but I suspect that s not the problem A friend has an app of the same name running on a different operating system and it s brilliant I had high hopes     France is directly overhead Venton O'Spleen

From our house I can see a 9 800 ft mountain about 30 miles away The app doesn t pick it up even after adjusting the range option It also indicates peaks that are not in the direction you point your phone I ll try it from another location to see if the GPS will respond better but so far not impressed     Jury is out Michael J.

This app is ok When I point at a peak in a range of mountains there are too many other peaks that come up too I am using peak scanner to help me find the names so when I have all those surrounding names too it doesn t really help Also I would like to know the name of the mountain range             Better than nothing Wixmom

I m in Portland OR and there are two sometimes three giant mountains visible There are also a couple dozen hills This app shows all the close in hills that no one knows or cares about but completely ignores the huge distant mountains The peaks listed should be prioritized by apparent size not by distance And the distance should extend to at least 100KM the usual limits of visibility         Good idea poor execution Matterenergy

Works but it s not exactly accurate Is usually one summit off either left or right Was on a summit next to Mount Washington in the White Mountains and it was able to find all surrounding mountains EXCEPT Mt Washington The highest peak in the area Work out the bugs and it will be fantastic             Almost there Tnewhamp
