Great app to have around if you own a dog that tends to eat just about any plant you walk by like me Lots of great information plus the ability to co0ntact the Pet Poison Helpline direclty in case of emergency Really Helpful
This app is not working There is no list of poisons and when I search for a known toxin such as antifreeze it says there are no results Doesnt work
Well organized and good presentation of information on potential toxins for all varieties of pets Just scrolling through the list I found many things I didnt know could be toxic to my pets The filter for particular species is nice too if you just want to look at what could be toxic for a dog or cat or horse etc without seeing everything Excellent app company and service Excellent information for all pets and owners

This is a comprehensive app containing pictures and information about a wide range of substances that are toxic to pets plants foods household chemicals etc I think it will be incredibly useful to any petowner whose pet has a penchant for poisoning itself Of course there are a couple of things Id like to see in the next update Releasing it as a universal iOS app rather than an iPhone app would be nice though it looks fine on the new iPad when running at 2X it could look great Id also like the author to consider the possibility of allowing an inapp purchase upgrade that would include additional treatment information useful for veterinarians in clinical practice As it stands though its a very nice app Good job Very nice so far
Just purchased this app and find it extremely detailed My one complaint is that the picure for a dracaena plant is for a bamboo plant The picture of the dracaena is called a dragon tree Not sure if anything else like that is in this app hopefully not Otherwise it seems very usefull and has a lot of recent info in it Very well organized

This app is very well designed and is easy to use I like the easy search and scroll functions but my favorite part is the ability to filter for only those types of animals I am concerned about eg dogs and cats only It also provides information about other animals as well birds horses etc This is one app that you hope you never use because of the subject but you will be glad you had it should the need arise Simple and Effective Presentation

The way this was described to me at WVC in Vegas was that it was for vets I was looking forward to having a good pocket toxicology reference that included treatment protocols not just potential symptoms and a phone number Close but not quite there I must has misunderstood

This was advertised in a DVM magazine Sounded great but I should have listened to the other reviewers Entered in known poisonous plants to horses 4 different kinds and it couldnt find one Very disappointing Not worth the money at this time Hopefully it will improve Not how it was marketed
While Ive not had need of the app and hope I never do in playing around on it I found some major annoyances The screen flashes with every letter I type into the search box and when I searched on chocolate the search returned chocolate covered espresso beans which is misleading at best So far its ok with some annoyances
A good app for the pet owner but very basic overall lack of doses and any treatment guidance that would be useful for a seasoned per owner or veterinary professional Basic information
This app is really handy I hope I never have to call the poison hotline but Ive used it to determine if certain flowers and such are toxic to my pets Id recommend this app for pet parents to help prevent a tragedy Superb
