This app has been very good however it is not compatible with iOS 11 0 The company needs to update the app to be able to use with current IOS     PhonoPix Full bmtslp

I just spent 30 bucks for an app claiming miminal pair comparison That does not present minimal pairs together     Read carefully The School Speech Therapist

I am an SLP and I ve been trying to use this app with my younger kiddos with phonological disorders Today I could not record the child s voice it crashed multiple times and for the process of Stopping it includes the word dam which for some reason kept repeating over and over Not great for the four year old who was working with me at the time but sure produced a great laugh from the teachers in the room not very professional looking on my part I much prefer Smarty Ears product to this by far Too bad I can t get a refund because I completely wasted my money on this app     Don t like this at all Teechrsped

I was extremely disappointed in this program I purchased this program because I was impressed with the ArticPix program This program does not allow side by side comparisons of the minimally paired words in this flash card mode so that students can easily see and hear that they are saying a different word than they intend to say Plus my version of the PhonoPix does not allow me to rate the student s production in the flash card mode When the program is in the Memory game mode it shows the minimal matching pair so fleetingly that it is to quick for many young children to focus on Then if they pick the correct match the pair disappears before there is time to say both words and compare the production of each The matching pairs should be allowed to stay on the screen as long as the therapist wants them to remain Another disappointment was the limited number of minimal pairs in each group I feel dupped and clearly should have read other reviews before purchasing a program I will not make this mistake again     Speech Lang Path Ginnislurp

As an SLP I felt misled and disappointed in this App I was expecting to see a set of minimal pair cards for each of the processes presented in the flashcards as your sales ad displayed without needing to flip the card This would help students better understand that an incorrect production results in a totally different word The sales advertisement hooked me into buying this expensive app which otherwise I might not have         PhonoPix Full Sloppydoppy

I first opened the final consonant deletion flashcards The pictured cards don t include a final consonant Therefore I feel like I am just reinforcing the use of the phonological process Particularly for 25 I would really like to see the flashcards reinforcing the right skill Julie C SLP         Practicing the right skill Jcurry111

This app is decent The ability to record student s responses is good and the ability to flip the card to sentences is good as well The tracking sounds yea aww quickly become irritating and I haven t figured out how to mute these sounds The memory game is fun for my students also Please update this feature Thanks             Decent cello7368

This app is decent The only thing though it has you push a smile or frown for reinforcement However the kids I work with are younger and love to push the frown It distracts them from actually doing the cards themselves I also think that it would be great if the app allowed you to import your own pictures and add to the library It is the best app with minimal pairs out there right now though             Decent thanhkim

The ArtixPix and now PhonoPix apps are definitely the best in their class My 4 year old will practice with me multiple times per day PDD nos epilepsy language recovering The pictures are awesome with respect to other reviewer they are standardized so seen on other PECS applications Record Playback feature is awesome even though you have to be precise with your taps Card flips are ingenious This development team is leading the charge on articulation practice in iOS land You get what you pay for stay away from the 3 apps that claim to be similar Also now you have to also watch out for unscrupulous 30 cheatware riding on these fine products coattails A These products have a magic formula that I hope they will keep expanding upon                     Another Awesome App Hannah Pappah

I am an SLP in an outpatient clinic and loved the idea for the app and it does have some really cool features but I am not at all impressed with the pictures For example in the pair no and snow no is pictured as a red frowny face which to me and most of the kids I see doesn t mean no There don t seem to be enough pictures for example in the final consonant deletion pairs which is one of the earliest processes to be established some of the pairs are for final ch and z and there are none for final p and t which is where I usually start One of the biggest flaws is that there is no receptive component With picture cards I usually start with having he child identify the one in the pair that I say and this isn t an option Also the record and playback buttons overlap making it difficult to hit the playback button and not accidentally hit the record button again I have it on an iphone so this might not be an issue on the ipad All those flaws being identified I still use it and some of my older kids do very well with it             It s Okay KC SLP
