Deposit feature no longer works As soon as I take the photo of my check the screen goes black and the deposit process is interrupted     Needs an update for iPhone iOS 7

It works OK but why is there no detailed information available for my PCU Visa via this app        Not intuitive

EDeposit 1 When entering a deposit amount the keyboard defaults to the Alpha Keyboard It should default to the Numeric Keyboard 2 Old version defaulted to Checking for Deposits This version Defaults to Savings I believe most may want to deposit to checking accounts Allowing a user to set a default deposit account would be helpful and more efficient and streamlined 3 The Green Brackets for Centering the Check to take a picture do not match picture area Interface The new interface is much busier than the previous version Its not as clean to navigate as last version Performance could be better           So So Could use some improvements

Well it sort of will The checks will be deposited into your account for a day or two than without warning or any notice from the bank they will be individually withdrawn from your account From what I can tell its a bug with the updated camera software communicating with the App     Will not deposit checks with iOS 7

It takes 10 minutes to make a deposit through this app ever since the iOS 7 update That is if u can successfully make a deposit at all     Please fix this app

welcome update but please fix the camera view for check deposits the grid that helps line up the checks ends up taking pics they are zoomed out way further than it indicates have to basically guess and keep trying until you get a suitable pic              fix check deposits

The app now appears to be a simple wrapper for a mobile web version of PCU The new UI looks like JQuery Mobile to me The old app was faster and cleaner than this update Maybe there was web tech in there before but it used native UI components and was overall a much smoother experience Heres hoping PCU eventually goes back to a native app        Used to be better

I read the past reviews and so was on debating to download I downloaded with the intention to use the edeposit function It does default to savings so do pay attention to where the deposit is being directed I took the front and back photo of the check and it worked fine The amount deposited and cleared the next day Balance check is suffice I actually use the text message option to get my balances With the single deposit going through and knowing that it worked for me Ill keep using this app              EDeposit worked

I am no longer able to use mobile deposit reliably after updating my 4s to iOS7 I repeatedly get a frozenblank screen I also wished account balances updated in realtime instead of having to log out and log back in again to see updated balances        Mobile Deposit No Longer Works After iOS7 update

I love being a Provident Credit Union member This app has always worked well for me and deposits via check are easy now that they hv upgraded the app              Very good app

Tried several times over the past few weeks to log in and always get connection error Can log in on the website just fine though     Its pretty bad

Provident was one of the first banks to have a mobile app that let you make check deposits Only problem was they didnt update the app for 2 years so it didnt work well on iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s or iOS 7 Hopefully this one does Not sure why they went with the SF Giants colors instead of the usual blue and white but ok its cooler I guess Would love it have they had a similar interface as Chase which lets you verify the routing number and account number on the checks you scan instead of just hoping Provident will get it right              Only took 2 years to update

Thanks for the update which now includes available credit for credit card accounts This APP works fine so far on my iPad Air 2 and also on my iPhone 6 It makes life easier because I can do all transactions straight from the APP                 Its Better Now

Never had a problem with this app I am able to check my balance in my Super Rewards Checking and deposit my checks using my iPhone              This app is very useful

Come on please work on it UI is so old Work with some new technology Edeposit is missing too Please work on Touch ID too Its 2015 your last update was 2014 Sounds like you guys dont care about app     Old fashion app missing Edeposit

Ive been using this app for about a year And I find several of the features fairly useful but the one thing that annoys me is how difficult it is to use the deposit app Despite the fact that I use my iPhone4S to take pictures all the time and most of them come out perfectly clear this app cant seem to take a decent image of a check even in the best lighting It always seems to take 4 or 5 tries to get an image that the app will except and then allow me to deposit But save your check until you get your statement Because as I found out today even after the app tells you your deposit has been excepted and posted you may receive a notice two or three days later as I did today that the deposit has been rejected because the images is of poor quality The irony is because this deposit function has always been so quirky I have always saved my checks until I got my statement That is until this last deposit So when I got the notice from provident as a courtesy telling me that there was no deposit and that there is no image of the check I found it particularly annoying     Fatal Flaw with the mobile deposit

Newest version is greatly improved Larger font no nonsense layout and easier to navigate Now check deposits are easier than the desk top version mobile banking Way to go PCU                 200 times better

I installed it once but changed the phone after 2 weeks I cant register now because it is impossible to remove activation on my old phone     Horrible piece of software

This new platform is clunky and adds more steps to login The mobile check cashing crashes every time Also there isnt Touch ID integration That is a simple coding step for the app designer that would make life much easier for the end user 1 New platform looks and runs worse than the old version 2 Checks dont cash only crash 3 Lets get some Touch ID like my other banking apps have     A worse look and feel

I really like the new design of the app but I can only give it two stars because the edeposit feature doesnt work correctly Something is off with how the app uses the camera so that no matter how perfectly you line it up after you take the picture the image of the check is off center and zoomed out        Please fix edeposit

Big fan of Provident CU but not the app After upgrading to iOS 7x the edeposit feature is extremely temperamental and almost never works Hopefully the forthcoming app upgrade will fix this        edeposit blows

This new version is worthless You cant deposit checks which is what I primarily use the app for     Cant deposit checks

I know this is a credit union but it would be nice to have a better user interface especially with all of these other banking apps making new changes There hasnt been an update in 8 months so hopefully one is soon to come        Needs refinery

When I first downloaded the app it worked great but recently every time I try to log in it says unable to connect but when I go to safari and go to the website it works great what gives        Used to work great

Updated my phone to the new iOS This app was slow before now its just godawful AAAAND where I used to be able to deposit checks from the app now its so buggy that the feature is useless I live 90 miles from the nearest branch If they cant update their app in two years time its enough to make me move where I bank Seems harsh but the ease of mobile banking through the app was all that kept me with them instead of a local CU     Slow buggy wont do checks

Helpful Review I have noticed that the Provident CU App SEEMS BUGGIE at low network speeds Before my 4s iOS6 3G died I had about a 60 failure rate with the app especially the edeposit photo checks It worked better with either a solid 3G connection 45 bars or on WiFi AND when I had to switch to a 5s iOS7 4GLTE he app was almost flawless except that login took about 10 seconds way too long if you are holding up a grocery line after you card was mysteriously declined All that being said it seems that Provident CU tech support could improve the app by either increasing network availability or making the app lighterless info or checkpoints needed from the app An example may be Teachers Credit Union from Indiana It is the credit union that I am moving from and there app is very smoothfast           Helpful Review

I havent been a fan of the rebrand at all orange is a terrible color for a bank brand the blue was much better however at least the old app was coded well and worked like a native iOS app should This new app is a janky webview container its just way worse all around That clunkiness is the result of poor iOS development decisionmaking 2 stars since it at least works for the most part        Went from bad to worse

I had to download this after my good old version web based seized to work Yes colors are nice but speed is terrible Starting with log in the mobile interface is simply crawling while loading from page to page even in wifi connection I thought its just the time of day when I use it but three weeks later no improvement The only fast response I get is the log OUT button interesting     Worse than older version

App hasnt worked since installing it I either get error message or it tells me invalid credentials Logging in w same password works fine online though the website is not at all user friendly PLEASE FIX THIS APP     Seriously

While this is a nice app and works its optimized for the iPhone and therefore to use it on the iPad the interface gets scaled up and the text and interface looks oversized and fuzzy Come on Provident You promote online banking through our iOS devices but you really mean for us to use a tiny screen iPhone Please make a version optimized for iPad I have to give this 1 star     Please make a dedicated iPad version

PCU has always been ahead of the curve for me big kudos to their web app product managers Devs QAs and designers Keep up the great work and bring some of the neat design to the mobile app Want at the least quarterly updates not once in 2 years                 Thank you for updating

New app does not work as well as old app First time using new app and error messages and crashing app after trying to submit a mobile deposit Also just poor coding and attention to detail when first letter of userid defaults to capitalized     Mobile check deposit not working and app crashing

Under the old version you could access the atm and branch locator without having to log in to the app Taking this away makes the app much less useful I want to be able to open the app and get an ATM location with a minimum of steps The use my location option to find near by ATMs or branches just returns an error message about being out of service The bottom line it still is a poorly designed and executed app     With new version you have to login to get ATM locations

Why is this feature missing It used to make this app a lot more useful        EDeposit Missing

Used my PCU app to deposit a check there is no longer an eDeposit option Its 2014 and they opted to do away with online check deposit I agree checks are obsolete but so are the days of having to go into a branch to deposit them I will be closing my account first thing Monday     No more EDeposit

Both my wife and I have downloaded the App but now weeks later have yet to be able to log in without an error message Yet the website works fine with the same password This App is useless     Doesnt Work

Checks can only be deposited at branch locations The around me location search does not allow the option to search for branches So I asked a representative at my branch when I was in to show me in the app how I could find out where I can deposit checks when Im traveling which is 80 of the time and she said to enter an address and select branch I did this two times in the branch and the app closed I tried again when I left thinking it was my cell service but it kept shutting This app is now useless as I primarily use it to find locations where I can deposit checks when I travel     Location finder is bad

When clicking update it kicks me out Fix the update option to allow it     Update does not work

This app is buggy once again On this latest version I often receive an error message to check my network connection and thus cant login although Im able to use other apps requiring a network connection just fine Also the load time for the app is slow in comparison with other apps I have an iPhone 6 so its not a result of old technology or a slow network connection but a problem on Providents end I also wonder if they even had a UX person look at this app on the login screen the remember me button is way more prominent than the login button this should be the other way around Overall its an okay app but definitely not polished like it should be        Needs works again

Not expecting to move mountains but I would like to at least check my finances on the go without having to wait 90 seconds timed for the app to load and another 2030 seconds every time I click a tab A lot quicker to simply log into the website than using this app Mobile banking meh     Slow Slow Slow

Every time you try to eDeposit and go to take a picture of the check the app crashes EVERY time     Cant eDeposit

Im a mobile professional so I really need to be able to check my account on the go This app used to work great but in the past week its stopped letting me log in Thats extremely frustrating because I need to be able to access my account from anywhere Other than that eDeposit deposit has never worked for me and the ATM branch find function doesnt work properly either I love Provident Credit Union but please guys fix this app     No longer works

I used edeposit a week ago and went to use it today but its gone What gives Up till now its been a great app              What happened to edeposit

App does not work like described Constantly says Invalid Credentials when I try to sign in everytime App literally worked only 1 time since I downloaded it It made me sign in 3 different times just for me to found out that my account was locked and I now have to go back to my bank to recover it Im going to consider switching banks because Im tired of this bs     Worthless
