I am a 13 year old girl whos had trich for about a year I was referred to this app at a Trichotillomania Learning Center conference in Austin TX about two weeks ago I checked it out but was hesitant due to the price After a major relapse last night I decided to purchase the app It is a great appit has so many customization options and so many new strategies Id never heard about before Honestly I dont know if now I would pay 15 for it After all it IS just an app and is not equivalent to a therapist or psychologist I recommend this application if you feel you really want to recover and are truly willing to work for it I know this app will make a definite impact in my recovery Great app but a little pricey

I have done much better tracking my progress with a pen and paper than I have with this app It is frustrating to take the test then have the app tell you things that you already know about yourself I would recommend buying a book instead or to track progress in a notebook and save the 15 I just feel ripped off It could be fun if the app had options like providing games on your phone that require both hands or such but this app just recommends you leave the situation and has randomly generated encouragements I have had trich for 8 years now and I have tried many other options and this is not a great one So not worth the price
While the content and concept of the app is good the app itself is poorly designed To the point that its very difficult to use Obviously the purpose of an app like this is that you can track things quickly as well as thoroughly This app allows me to do neither so I think Ill give it up 15 spent for no reason Would love a functional version where I could choose more than one option easily track previous urges as well as episodes as part of my success and that was generally smoother and more intuitive for digital natives like my millennial self It would be worth a price bump because at 15 as is its worthless A 30 functional app would still be cheaper than most therapy sessions Poor Execution
