Recipe & Shopping List Organizer iShopNCook

I use the laptop version in my restaurant daily couldnot function without it Installed the app on my iPad and had issues with syncing It turns out that I was trying to sync with the wrong account info totally my error Mathilde supplied awsome support and got me up and runing in no time responding to my emails in minutes My only issue with the app is that it is iPhone based so you have to use the 2x display to go full screen This wastes a lot of screen resolution that could make for a better user interface IMHO                 Great app incredible customer serrvice

Really enjoyed using this app to create and save recipes but I apparently reached the limit of saved recipes and was prompted to pay to upgrade Actually considered doing so as overall the app is mostly user friendly and does what I need but subscriptions are by month and year only and Im unwilling to pay for the app more than once Aside from that I did experience occasional minor problems with editing apps but nothing I couldnt work around              Not unlimited

It took way too long to enter recipes even with the ability to photograph the recipes Why Because I had to edit every single one of the quantities and ingredients Also adding items from a recipe to the shopping list did not actually work I might add three items that I did not have in my refrigerator to the shopping list and when I went to the shopping list every single item from the recipe was added to the list including the ones I did not add to the list So trying to make it work and doing several tasks over and over again I got the same results Huge waste of time     HUGE waste of time

I loved the concept of this but I agree with above reviews A LOT of kinks they need to work through before I will actually use it After it taking over 5 minutes to enter a recipe I gave up They need prompts to type in your recipe name cook time ingredients etc so you dont have to keep going back and editing        Great idea app work out the kinks

Much too complicated After Shopping List crashed with iOS 6 I was looking for a replacement Since I also used the desktop version I trusted that this would be good However its not ready for prime time especially at the price and additional addins     Danchm

My initial assessment of iShopNCook was unfairly harsh After an installation hiccough the app is now working beautifully              Won over

I downloaded this app to have any easy way to store my recipes digitally I was using my phone in the kitchen to cook new recipes that I found I online and I thought that instead of constantly trying to find the old websites when I recook the dishes I liked that it would be easier to just store them on my phone somewhere But this app does more than that I no longer need hand written grocery lists either The app makes it incredibly easy to plan my shopping based on the recipes Which also helps that in remembering why I planned on buying certain items because the app tracks what recipe its for There are a few kinks still to be worked out but overall I am very satisfied I have recommended this app to my friends who cook                 Liking this app

I have had the PC version liked the idea of it all being integrated Now I just feel ripped off After paying a lot for the PC version had to pay for the app only to find out to make it functional Id have to buy addons Which I stupidly did It crashes every time After much frustration I emailed for support almost a week later got a response that I tried for another 30 minutes didnt work Tried to click on the link in the support email and it didnt work either I sent a new support email over a week later no response Very frustrating Im done Would love a refund     Doesnt work dont bother

I feel the same as the others but i also find it hard to us not enough help for certain areas     Frustrated

As an owner of the ShopNCook desktop Mac app I was excited about the potential of having a mobile companion There are a lot of great shopping list recipe apps but itd great to have one that integrates with my MacBook app Since the iPhones existence weve seen some incredible supplementary apps many of them free to paid desktop users created for existing desktop programs my hope was that iShopNCook would have a similar business model After installing it today its first day of release no reviews yet I was sorely disappointed to see the plethora of inapp purchases required if I were going to make this a usable mobile supplement and an annual subscription really The program looks fantastic but please consider eliminating the inapp purchases for paid desktop users Theres too many free recipelist mobile apps out there to compete with     Great potential sad business model

I was excited about the features but the app keeps crashing     Keeps crashing

After some frustration with setting up the app to sync with my desktop I really like this app It is very handy to be able to access my goto recipes on the fly The recipe recognition is excellent I have not used the pantry yet but am looking forward to exploring that option After all is said and done this is a pretty expensive app However our meal planning shopping and cooking take up so much time that I have found it to be a worthwhile investment BTW I had some trouble seeing my cookbooks after syncing Turning the phone totally off and restarting did the trick              Very good recipe and list organizer
