This has potential to be a really cool tool for a music classroom The largest problem is the fingering chart is sideways It should be vertical with the double hole at the top That is the standard way of looking at the fingering chart and how it is written in all recorder music books and resources        Could use an update

The previous reviewer who said this is a boring game should realize that this is not a game but more of a tool I have an autistic student in class who cannot play the recorder but I give her the iPad with this app and she is able to play the same tunes as the rest of her class with the help of her aide Its fabulous Im also using it to have kids practice reading their recorder songs with headphones while I am assessing others actually playing their recorder This gives me a chance to hear individuals and still keeps the other students working on music I think this app is great for the elementary music classroom Id also love to see the app work in reverse where the students can cover the holes of the recorder fingering and have the note appear on the staff                 Great Educational Tool

For soprano recorder The free version is for the usable range of the instrument the notes most commonly used in school situations Note that this is for the English or baroque recorder and only the standard fingerings are given For the price great The more advanced player will want something more substantial The tunes included are a cute idea but I question the practicality              Recorder lite

This is easy and fun I had been thinking about purchasing a 3D recorder to play along with my great niece so shed be more inclined to practice Finding this app brought back how fun it had been to play as a student I am heading over to Amazoncom as soon as I finish this review This app sounds very close to a 3D recorders tones I like how the app developer has kept simplicity in mind so there isnt so many destructions I was able to download install the app And remembering developers instructions regarding turning off the hand gestures I did this have experienced no issues This is a well designed app that can be used by adults and children I had my great niece get this app and weve had a lot of fun She completely fooled me a couple of times by playing her 3D recorder or this app I couldnt really tell which was which I could see a group of people all playing this app on their iPads That would be fun                 Brings back elementary school Recorders up
