Should have listened to the other reviews This was a waste of money I bought it because the old version didnt work right on the new operating system It would work but only in the portrait mode This one doesnt work at all Just sits there saying its loading Thats it Remote Potato needs to do right by those of us who have invested in their app     Bad App

The IOS7 facelift looks good and the streaming works great on my network even the HD streams look good I like how I can browse and view my Media Center recordings and view the EPG But there is no support for the Remote Potato IR Helper in this app This app would be perfect if it included the ability to tune to a channel from the EPG and have basic MCE remote functions           Works ok but

Works perfectly except if I have to navigate to a folder which has more than 10 subfolders Please fix these so we can access any folder              Please correct subfolder access

This version is completely unstable It crashes after the first run every time thereafter You can only get it to work ONCE by uninstalling and reinstalling Save your money     Crash crash crash

Cant load any folder without freezing app Old one at least used to load new one cant be used for anything     Useless

This is exactly the same as the previous version I purchased I purchased this thinking it fixed the slooow guide loading guess not I cannot find one thing better than the previous version Wasted money     Whats different

I love this program and use it a lot and was hoping for an update to fix iOS 7 issues Glade we have an update but not so happy about paying again for the app           Paid update for iOS 7 compatibility

This used to work very well Now it does not even connect Tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing functions Is this company even in business     No longer connects at all

I watch my Windows Media Center with this app both when at home and when away from my house Why would so many give it a bad score I think they dont understand how to install the server app that is needed Dont know what Id do without thus app Love love love it                 I love this app Works perfectly

Not sure what the fuss is about works about perfect for me iPhone 5S Only thing that could make it better is to incorporate a WOL function                 Almost perfect

The developers of Remote Media Center took over support and development of the now open sourced Remote Potato server component FatAttitude took their support forums down a few years ago This version of remote potato was a paid update as the developer crippled the previous version when ios7 came out Makes you wonder if hes going to cripple this one too and make you pay for an ios8 version of the app           It mostly works but seems like no support nor updates

Other than having to rebuy this for a new iOS in a they all do it money grab Remote Potato has never let me down for streaming my WMC HTPC content to my iPhone and iPad It streams my recorded TV and all my MKV AVI MP4 MP3 music and more files flawlessly Used in conjunction with a Wake on LAN app and the proper sleep settings applied on my HTPC I have my entire music and video library available at my fingertips at all times If youre patient enough to time shift your TV watching habits by 1530 mins yes you can watch plausibly live tv by recording a show and slightly time shifting I suspect these many bad reviews about the app not working or crapping out come from folks who have not properly set up their WMC servers and applied the proper settings and exceptions to their routers You also need a strong home internet connection on your WMC pc DSL and lesser tiered broadband packages probably arent gonna cut it unless you choose the lower quality options to stream your videos You also need a better than average pc that can handle the onthefly encoding and streaming Your home internet connection and HTPC are the workhorses here Not the app your cell phone or its LTE or wifi connection Ive streamed HD quality show streams over a 3 bar LTE connection on my phone without a glitch If you cant get the app to work properly the place to troubleshoot is your HTPC your router and your home broadband connection because this app works perfectly for me If this all seems too technical this may not be the app for you                 Works for me

Writing first review ever because I am so disappointed with this app Previous version was great I loved it and better on iOS 6 and iOS 7 even though its Unsupported New version is terrible absolutely not worth the cost and so unacceptable I will be finding another streaming product Paying for and update that is worse than previous version is deplorable Currently functions as a way to schedule recordings if you are lucky otherwise its useless VERY disappointed Developer should spend sone tine and rewrite this AS A FREE upgrade     Unacceptably bad Do not purchase

Found out after my first review if u update to 106 server not 11 server on pc the picture is great its when u use 11 with audio it kills the picture even on top quality Please update for iOS 8 Paid twice for this app and not fair we have to wait 14 bucks is not cheap FIX        This app upgraded to tragedy

Constant freezing Click to see a folder and it freezes Click to go back and that freezes Click back again and it works Click to see the folder now and it works Click a thumbnail to see the picture and it freezes Click back and it freezes I downloaded the previous version Remote Potato HD No freezing issues at all but the photo viewing is unusable Click a thumbnail to see the photo Photo pops right up Everything snappy Now click done to go back and nothing happens No way to go back out from the photo except to shut the app remove it from memory and launch the app again I could not delete these two garbage products from my mini fast enough I want a refund     Junk Keep looking

I am not able to stream recorded movies There is no stream option Yet if I go to my other recordings its fine They are all in the same format and recorded using windows media center Tried contacting support through their website and the email gets bounced back Nice smh        MOVIE STREAMING ISSUE
