Ruler Deluxe - Measure objects larger than your screen!

The sliding mode of this app works better than the rotation mode but still should only be used for very loose estimates The rotation mode is the better idea in my opinion but it doesnt work at all I tried to measure a 11 piece of paper and the rotation mode was off by almost 2 every time I even used their adjustment slider at the max to compensate for phone edge but it still was over an 15 off I gave the app two stars because the sliding mode does work a somewhat Dont waste your time though        This app barely works

I bought this but the slide measurement wouldnt work and every time I tried to access changing its look the program would crash Not worth the money     not worth it

I dont understand the ones who say it doesnt work Id admit the sliding mode takes a little skill to master especially the untouching part But the rotation mode works without any practicing Yeah you might buy a tape measure with a buck or two but whod want to carry that around with you all the time                 Works as advertised

I have one of those 8in1 tool apps on my phone and I will admit their ruler is very difficult to use So I actually went and downloaded this app Wtih RD you can rotate your phone along whatever you are measuring and the ruler will move with your phone Much easier than the other app where you need to hold your finger on the screen as you slide Now Im a person who doesnt like a lot of app clutter but now have two ruler apps taking up space But it is worth it for the ease of this app              By far the best and easiest ruler app

Either the software is completely lame or Im not understanding the instructions Neither would surprise me The instructions which you find in tips tell you to hold a finger of one hand on the ruler and the other hand on the IPhone and to slide the iPhone The only way the device would measure in this mode is to keep your finger perfectly still and fixed in location Of course to measure a larger object than the width of the iPhone you have to keep moving your finger over every 2 Dont move your finger while sliding or you will be off Impossible to measure accurately or even close to accurately If Im just not understanding the directions they should write more clear instructions Otherwise this is not worth 99 or the space it would occupy on the iPhone     Lame

Its one of the very cool and useful app in my ipod touch I think rotation mode is a very good idea I give a big hand to app developers                 Very good idea Very useful

I was in doubt at first but the rotation mode works quite well It is not 100 accurate but I was less than an inch off when I just measured my kitchen table The sliding mode takes a bit of practice though In any case the rotation mode makes this app worth more than its price                 Wow

its particular rotation function is not perfect for practical usagerotation point is a screen edge not a physical edge of your iPhone or iPod touch but it shows impressive way of measuring the length with iPhone I am looking forward to seeing new version           Funny idea that shows potential

This app With its loose wording and description leads me to believe that this uses the phones accelerometer or something to know its movement I honestly do not see any reason people will like to buy this app unless you like to slide your phone between your fingers and some hard surface I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK     VERY MISLEADING NOT WORTH MONEY

It took me a few minutes to master the measuring tricks but I love it It would sure come in handy Nice work                 Tiranomaker

This is the one Im looking for Not quite accurate but handy for usual After 23 learning tries Ive got another tool in my touch I hope they upgrade this app to support various units and simple unit converter                 Handy
