I used to record whole scenes and play them back to learn them Right now I m working on a new play and we get script changes every day The only way to keep up is with the ability to change insert and reassign lines and this app has it Absolutely necessary                     Very helpful capndan

Since my daughter is grown and out working on her own I don t have anyone to run lines with Now because of this app I m able to get it all done on my own The only thing I wish this app had was the ability to share the show recording with other members of the cast It would be nice for the cast to be able to sit around and read the script record the parts and when we re all done share it among ourselves so each of us don t have to record the whole show individually                     Saved my life Herron_family

In order to use this app you need to take the time to record every single line separately That can be time consuming so this is not good for situations where lines need to be learned super quickly However recording every line helps not only with memorizing your lines but your cue lines as well and it s never a bad thing to know as much of the script for all of the characters as you can It s easy to use and I recommend this app to everybody I talk to about line memorization Since I am a visual learner I find it especially helpful when I look at my script while listening to the recording of it                     time consuming but worth it Kdaae99

Here is how to make this a five star app 1 Fix the app so if I change the Scene name it sticks Right now I ve tried changing the scene name several times but it keeps reverting to Scene 1 2 Add the ability for users to export import lines I would LOVE it if one of the other actors could record their lines then I could import them into my app Fix those two things and you ll get five stars from everyone                 SO CLOSE to being perfect Cappaholic

This really helps me work on memorizing my lines and I always recommend it to my fellow actors It especially helps when you have two plays you re working on at the same time I only wish that they fixed the bug on sharing when I updated on my iPhone and that the recording could be less tedious some how Maybe have the ability to cut and edit your self                 A must for actors Hapaminky

Updated review This app made all the difference for me as I was trying to learn 200 lines for a major musical role Kudos to the programmers for responding to a bug report so quickly and making it work right on my 3GS I don t know how I would have done it without this app One request the run show feature is good but it would be even better if I could start anywhere in the show I like instead of only at the very beginning                 Very useful josepheh

There is a huge bug when trying to delete lines you can t scroll to the bottom and delete lines If you mess up and done realize until later you have to delete the entire script Also when you turn to landscape mode and go back to portrait the name of the scene becomes the color gray and there is no button to add a line they disappear             Needs fix on major bug Agape Meadows

Thanks for fixing the issues the app works great now Pros Easy to use Takes the place of having to have someone read lines to you Can toggle between characters to rehearse specific character lines Can save multiple plays and scenes Cons Long plays and scenes can take a while to record Overall definitely worth getting if you are an actor                 Great app Syphin24

I hope to come back and give 5 stars but I m not able to add any character names I have my production named scenes listed but when I go to add a character it tells me character name something you won t see and when I click ok it does nothing No keyboard pops up for me to enter a name I emailed the app creator so hopefully I ll get this resolved soon This looks like a great app if I can just get it to work properly             iOS 7 bug Alais1212

I ve heard great things about this app but since I have upgraded to iOS 7 I am unable to add characters and therefore unable to add any lines to the program at all Use caution when buying until they release an update     Not iOS 7 Compatible mattandsaraw

This app solves my problem of not having someone to run lines with I haven t tried sharing yet but everything else works as advertised I prefer hearing a real voice even if it s my own to a computer generated one My update to ios 5 caused no issues I give it five stars but I hope the developer will keep improving it Along with the previous suggestions how about a way to run shorter sections repeatedly without having to run the whole scene And a way to edit lines directors are always changing and deleting them                     Great App for Actors Todditde
