Had problems with initial setup Developer responded quickly to explain that you have to tap on one of the blue dots to set a location not one of the more obvious orange icons The app does work but imo the previous version was better because everything was on one screen didn t have to scroll thru pages to get the info The bar graphics wind speed direction temps etc are bi color but the colors are too similar to distinguish and there is no legend to indicate ranges Will check back often to monitor progress Version 2 RRockey

I read a couple reviews stating the apps data was inaccurate so I decided to check for myself I compared the data the app presented against the NOAA Buoy Data website Wind and Air temperature were close but data on wave action and direction wasnt close The water temperature was dangerously incorrect it reported 83 when NOAA buoys report 61 I live near the ocean so I took a look first hand The app reported calm seas but the actual conditions were 12 feet Its a shame because it is a really attractive app but in its current version its unusable Inaccurate data

New phone and wont let restore purchase and search no longer works absolute POS I cant seem to get any wave heights or direction for buoys in my area in current conditions or forecast mode bouys 41004 41008 41002 Also the tide indicator doesnt reflect the tide time If the tide is high at 1230 and its 1130 showing an outgoing tide indicator The graphics and layout are great but without the data to back it up not worth it Edited Complete junk

I paid the extra 299 The tide works well and the wind is pretty good But the swell is WAY off Its blowing 15 knots here and its telling me its only 1 ft swell Lol its really 68 ft Its ok

I found this app to be highly inaccurate The Jupiter Inlet FL location showed a 15 ft swell height and moderate chop which could not be more wrong Seas are currently 6ft very rough with a high rip current risk The app says winds are 84 mph but a weather station at that location has winds at 15 mph While the graphics are great if the information is not accurate why would you use this app Highly inaccurate

This app has nice look but is totally useless to boaters It only has a few locations to choose from and those are harbors If you try to rate it and your username or title is already taken it erases everything you wrote I gave it a gracious three stars first just to be kind but since this is my 4th try I had to reduce it to one star Avid boster
I was not too happy about this app earlier but now this is where I check the ocean conditions before kayakingbut the water temperature still does not match the current NOAH data This app grew on me
Downloaded the app to get coastal and Puget Sound Seattle swell and tide info This info is not provided The iPhone already comes with a general weather app with more info than this app at least in Seattle I want my 3 back No tide or swell info Puget Sound

While I like the look of it the data is inaccurate The tide times are way off Todays tide was at 1039 and the app showed 1600the same as yesterday The sunrise and sunset times are approximated Looks can be deceiving
