Yes the places on the map are limited and I wish you could add places that I have been to and recommend but it has a map that is available offline which is awesome only problem is it is in Chinese characters and not pinyin or English The other problem with the map is that you can add a pin or search an address even with the online map Also the My Trips section didn t work for me Please please update with these things especially the map I don t at all mind paying if I have an English pinyin map that works offline obviously without directions offline Has potential but the offline map is in Chinese only M-OZ
There are some neat features in this guide like adding places to a visit plan but the biggest problem is it does not have very much data There are only like 10 bars and restaurants listed Not nearly enough A much better guide for shanghai is the Huzubuh Shanghai City guide It is also free with more listings and features Low information guide Smong
