It could use some options for adjusting difficulty levels              Great crisis management

For those of you looking for a quick entertaining game that carries the fun tradition of turn based strategy to the iPad then this is the game for you An obvious labor of love by an up and coming development studio this is fun fast paced and inspired sicfi adventure                 Great for lovers of turn based strategy

This game is beautiful and intuitive Each turn is a nailing biting decision as you allocate your limited resources to try and make it through alive                 Fantastically simple with excellent interface

Shifts is a great concept for a game and they did a nice job with the graphics but the actual gamebalance is terrible Hull crises kick you into a death spiral since you cant fix the damage and solve the crisis at the same time The huge galaxy makes finding 3 habitable planets a matter of sheer luck and the game is virtually impossible to win It would have been easy enough to have different difficulty levels which set the size of the galaxy but no dice there is only one difficulty level Very frustrating some outside playtesting might have made this a fun game but as it is now the high difficulty and ease of getting into pointless death spirals just makes the game dull        Good idea with serious balance problems

Enjoyable very challenging at times but fun                 Fun Game

I cant beat this game But I keep trying Theres a lot to like here if you like to think when you play There are no enemies except your ship constantly threatening to fall apart and that seems to be more than enough of a challenge The map changes every time so dont try to memorize which solar systems have planets to colonize Each play through FEELS short but if you do everything you can to survive in hopes of finding that elusive fourth planet I always find three youll discover quite a bit of time has passed by With a little bit more polish and maybe an Easy mode or puzzlequest mode this game would really rock Still its worth the two bucks for the half hour I just joyfully lost                 Simple Hard Amusing

A very cool strategy game that plays out almost like a strategic solitaire board game Your ship is just a crippled mess barely limping along Can you colonize 4 new worlds before it finally craps out permenantly                 An amazing gem

Gets me through the morningevening commute so its wellworth a couple of bucks                 Pretty fun for the money

I was surprised by this Had my attention for my entire first time playing A keeper I knocked off a star to encourage further updates Please consider a multiplayer element Thank you              Enjoyable Single Player Game

It would be nice to have difficulty settings that dictate the size of the domain As is it is much too large and it just seems too random as to whether a planet can be colonized As a result I have yet to win this game in more than 50 games Its a fun game but there is too much randomness that guarantees that wont win           Not bad but

Im a huge fan of the turnbased strategy genre and space travel fantasy Shifts has the perfect mix of both Every go at this game has a different outcome The designers have done a great job of providing a walkthrough and a very intuitive help system Great artwork awesome storyline and topnotch interaction for the iPad Buy it Its well worth the price                 Most addictive and fun strategy game for the iPad

I love the mix of hand drawn artwork vector UI elements and atmospheric music Each play through is different enough to be interesting but similar enough to retain that feeling of continuity Thumbs up for Shifts                 Great atmosphere and gameplay

Very fun game Feels kinda like playing Pandemic in the way you decide which problems need tackled first It would be nice if there was a confirmation button for when you dont assign any of your available brobots I tend to forget to use them                 Great game

update Thanks for listening Said great game before now Excellent Great game having a blast Help system is nice ingame manual would have been nicer Im not really a space guy but this is a clever fun little game and I see great promise for added content Developers maybe consider adding difficulty levels I would think it would be pretty simple Just have 2K ARKS for EASY 1K for NORMAL and maybe 700 for HARD I like to play games on EASY until I know what Im doing and it keeps new gamers from getting frustrated Please consider itthanks                 Whoopee

Really welldone turnbased spaceship management outer world exploration and colonization game Mechanics are quite polished I only wish for more animations but this is a style choice which may distract from strategy                 Great strategy game

I think it is ALOT Better One small change in this game has made it a five star game in my opinion Earlier I rated a two star due to play balance issues but the programmers have listen to our pleas The easier level of difficulty have taken some of the frustration out of this game actually had one of the better experiences Ive had so far The newer levels make quite a bit of difference Without the easiest level being too easy I still felt that it was a close battle in the end I can highly recommend this game at this point and appreciate the extra work the designers have put into this                 A good strategy game

This is a fun nervewracking game One that demands a lot of replay if only because its so hard to win One suggestion would be to have difficulty levels so a n00b might win easier early on to get sucked in and not discouraged                 Great game tons of replay value

Since you cannot repair the hull and address hull crises at the same time two or more simultaneous hull crises is an automatic loss sooner or later Game balance needs to be reconsidered Its too easy on normal but nearly impossible on hard Not a bad game just needs a lot of tweaking to be worth keeping on the device        Off balance

I dont like how the planets appear to be too random it makes winning the game seem to be something thats impossible depending on how the map is generated no matter how you work your shifts           Random issues
