Love that i can record with my bluetooth headset cant find another app that does              Love that i can record with my bluetooth headset

I should get paid to use such low quality useless app Cannot zoom on pictures and they are stored in such a crappy pixeled unlegible format wasted a whole day of lecture because of this c     Not worth it

Just used it for a grad school project it let me email my recording to my professorsweet              Seems to work

I dictated for years as an attorney using both microcassette tapes and then digital recorders I actually own a digital recorder which cost over 100 but I find it very cumbersome and not userfriendly By contrast this app which cost less than 10 is userfriendly and efficient After a few minutes of figuring out how the program works you simply dictate it records it saves the recording and allows you to with the click of two buttons send the audio file you email synchronize it to dropbox et cetera One of the nice things about this app is the very easy way in which it allows you to stop your recording and then pick right back up where you left off I do recommend this app I first downloaded two free and related apps realized that they did not have full functionality and then purchased this paid version              Well worth the price thus far

Functionality is limited Good for making microphone recordings longer than 10 minutes at high quality           SmartRecorder Not So Smart But Lets Me Export

I searched through the entire App Store to find the right recording app for me I am still learning how to use it but so far I love it Easy to use and lots of features                 Highly Recommend

Overall has worked for what is needed Editing is not very user friendly or accurate Has variable speed playback and most other similar apps dont What the heck is up with the Syfx boost I purchased this feature in addition to the app It has to be reinstalled every time the app is opened Annoying           Whats up with the syfx boost

Excellent I recorded my conference with Bluetooth and sent it by email in a small format and sent it to PC in wav format Bluetooth doesnt work in iPad 1st generation Nice apps                 User

This app is awesome but its missing the volume slider that the regular smart recorder has I know this is unintentional because the ipad version has the volume slider The slider is really important because the app records even the faintest and most distant of sounds at exceptional quality Please update to make it perfect              Needs volume slider

almost perfect if it fix the bug that cant see the word when you edit the tag and the problem doesnt happened at the smart record without edit function version           good but need to fix some bugs

I use the app to dictate letters and I send the audio file to Dropbox where our dictation application at the office grabs it so that a secretary can type the letter                 Does Exactly What It Should

Picked this up for free one day for just in case Today I had the idea of recording something for my wife to use and with Dropbox upload the little project was done quickly Very pleased                 iPhone to iTunes in Moments

Dont u see that those popular apps all have great UI at least a beautiful icon Please even the system default color is better than this one But a useful app                 Just improve ur UI

Interface looks odd in iOS 5 iPhone 4 There is a white blank portion at the bottom and the header is behind the statusbar Very cumbersome     Cumbersome on iOS 5

This is a great companion to Smart recorder I LOVE the audio copy and paste function since a few of my synth and multi track apps use the Mapi Sonoma function I was lead to believe that this app edited your wav files It does somewhat but it is like guess work You do not get a an actual visual as you do in Wave Pad for iPhone You really go into the trim and cut function blindly I think the ability to make ringtones is a total plus I have yet to record in the field with it but when I do I will update my review I think 699 is WAY overpriced for this app If they work on the editing then it will merit the price I want to see my file as I edit it it Not go to another screen and hope I marked the correct area Peace                 Nice

Been using since 10 best recorder I have found Use it to record guitar lessons and practice Only two tweaks needed to my mind The sliders on the clip in and out have the grabber too high so you hit another menu item when trying to move em And PLEASE let me loop a section to practice Youve been really good with updates and improvements Oh yeah is the rewind button gone now              Almost perfect Needs looping

On update of smart recorder I was offered a free DE app and took the offer Then they asked me for 699 and I have yet to try this app out     Bait and switch

This is a very easy app to use It has a great interface it handles technology in a seamless way Its very easy to integrate editing as well as to post your file to a variety of websites quickly and easily I use it every day as a classroom teacher and as a music teacher                 Capable accessible

Using this to help me practice the piano easy to learn and navigate                 Easy to use

This version allows for exporting the audio files I wish there was an easier way to transfer all audios from free version to the full version without manually going through each file Every time you transfer a file it glitches several times so u have to open the free version at least three times before it stays opens with all the records So far no lost data which is my main concern Thanks              upgraded after a while

Editing is difficult simply because the left position marker is VERY hard to grab I also wish I could use iTunes File Sharing and save the file as a WAV Instead it defaults to AIF through file sharing Wifi transfer defaults to CAF No way to change either one of those formats I can save as a WAV only if I email it but I dont want to share EVERYTHING with Google              Overall good

Very easy to use great qualitysound a must for spontaneous ideas to store from your phone so you dont lose that thought                 Awesome app

I want to use this on my iPhone and my iPad Why do I have to purchase them both Why does it not sync on both devices the way my other apps do This is very annoying        Why do I have to keep purchasing this

Volume control disappeared in current version The ability to tag important passages or take pictures of a PowerPoint presentation while recording makes Smart Recorder hands down the best app for capturing the content of a class or meeting for easy recall later Now adding editing capability completes the package It should be 5 stars but Im holding out for waveform audio display to see the words for easier editing GREAT PRODUCT           The Best MeetingClass Recorder Available

Keeps crashing when attempting to open an imported file from previous version As of now not worth the I was sucked into paying Purchase at youre own risk     Wish I could say it was good

I have tried two days in a row to record notes and both days the app shut down in the middle and lost everything Beyond frustrated 7 and a lot of time wasted     DO NOT PUTCHASE

Very reliable Pleased with it a little counterintuitive that once you select a recording you have select back to hear it but overall no problems                 Dependable

I have purchased other apps which have not lived up to the advertised promises This app however does It would be perfect if it allowed me to record a file directly to MP3 However I am giving this app 5 because it works so well It works well with VoiceOver and also allows you to multitask meaning you can have the app recording and be in another file typing notes at the same time Great job developers                 Best recording app I have found so far

The editing functions do not work They crashed the app and did not record me properly at all I lost an hours worth of work Its awful     Terrible
