Whenever my band teaches doesn t assign a whole song it constantly crashes and switches to practice mode which doesn t let you submit a score Also there is no way to get rid of the green thing that goes on the notes even though it s frequently incorrect Please fix         Fraction song fail Jedndjdjjs

This app is just so very disappointing For class I have to use this program for homework On the assignments it says that I either didn t play the notes or just played a wrong note For what it s worth I would not recommend this app         Severely disappointed Super XD lol

Smart music has a wide variety of songs to play try out My music teacher uses this app and I have tried out a few myself The only problem I have is that it can t detect the right notes A majority of my friends who use this reported the same problem When I would play it would say I played the wrong notes I even showed this to my music teacher and he said it was the right notes I was playing Overall it is an okay app but I feel that it is not worth it For the price you pay on the subscription you should expect something better and it probably isn t here         Bad sound detection Dooferdan12

I love the concept I m an educator and have been using Smartmusic forever I still like the PC version better than the iPad It s easier to navigate and more accurate I don t do any assignments from the iPad I wish there were still a grade book available on iPad The app still needs some improvements but I live the concepts and my students really enjoy the the instant feedback and self motivation                 Great concept Lloollyy

As with most apps SmartMusic has a few faults Occasionally it will not give me my teachers assignments and sometimes it will boot me off but it is mostly good I wish it had a few more songs such as The Tempest and Arabian Dream but it s really good Maybe 20 would be a better price though                 Great App some Faults Complainant box

I love that SmartMusic gives me access to such a vast library of music even if it is mostly modern arrangements I love that I get to play with a band even when I m by myself I love it on the PC that is not this app With the speakers at maximum volume I hear the starting metronome clicks painfully loud but barely hear the band That would be bearable if not for the horrid awful terrible misleading green bar that is supposed to give me a visual indication of the beat you know like the conductor we would have in a real band but it is always a fraction of a beat behind sometimes more than a full beat behind in a fast tempo The only way to stay on beat is to close my eyes to tune out the green bar but then I can t see the notes This is true on the PC version too but more bearable because I can crank up the volume of the accompaniment and hear the beat Much as it pains me I can t recommend this app and I suggest that music teachers stop requiring it It only teaches the bad habit of racing ahead of the conducted beat             Great concept poorly executed Window plus

Have had smart music forever but app has been having many many issues on my iPad don t use pc much anymore so not sure how it works but license issues on songs I already downloaded and shuts down a lot on its own Have to open 2 or 3 times often just to get it to stay open Hope they resolve some of this soon and add more titles         Not sur if I want to renew subscription Salazar23

I use this app daily when I practice I love the Arban s Method As are returning trumpet player I needed a tool that gave feedback and this one is great My wife and friends have noticed a marked improvement in my tone and timing I wish it could grade dynamics but listening to my playing helps                     I love this app yorel ronim

I m a high school student who has used SmartMusic for three years now This program is very useful for sight reading and assignments and it works great on the computer But this app is a living nightmare It crashes constantly it takes fifteen minutes to load it refuses to open certain assignments at all On the computer it is fine but on my iPad it barely works at all I wouldn t even call it an app It s more of a waste of my screen and storage space and serial killer of my time     Good program terrible app Kk D

The only complaints that I have about the app is that it only goes to 280 bpm but others than that I have been happy with the app occasionally I have to restart my iPad because it is older and is a bit slower to submit but not very often Yes I know there are some reviews saying that it does not pick up low notes I agree but the desktop version works if you have a low instrument for me my trombone is fine on my iPad Hope this helps                     Great 91837492837399

I had a lot of faith in the app It was going to help me improve on my instrument and allow my teacher to make assignments and listen without taking up class time The problems I have are many I play a bassoon and the low notes are rarely picked up causing unnecessary stress as I attempt to get a higher score on my assignments The practice time for practice cards isn t properly recorded forcing me to practice well beyond the time assigned which I m ok with but not when that added time still isn t recorded and causes me to get a lower grade The app is a great idea but the lack of attention to dynamics and style markings only enforces and engravings bad habits in my fellow students This app is a great idea but the application has much more to be desired         Doesn t meet expectations TheKingCorgi
