It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.3 has been released on 2014-11-26. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I have been using this app for several years now Had few glitches with the previous version but this shouldn t change the fact that it is still the most reliable source for snow forecast Keep it up                     Best app for snow forecast A fan but...

The latest update completely trashed what was otherwise a decent app It now requires email registration includes ads deletes any resorts you previously had favorited added completely useless features like the ability to take pictures within the app has a extremely confusing UI and most importantly the forecasts themselves often fail to load The best update they could make would be to revert to the prior version     Absolute junk duh...

This is only marginally better than the website on mobile and full of advertising even though I am a paying member The forecasts also are unreliable at least for Europe I will be looking elsewhere     Disappointed Wbskier

I used to use snow forecast to check mountain stats for Oregon Washington ski resorts with relative reliability It was a disappointment when I switched to their previous version of the app as it was outdated and eventually wouldn t work with IOS Well they just released the new version and here s what I think BOOOOO The bad The app will only use metric in certain areas current ski conditions are not accurate the eyeball report does not work requires notifications for the app to work requires registration for it to work unable to sort My Resorts it only sorts alphabetically The good the table format for the resort weather is good         Redone app is no good Chief Snow

First let me start by saying I love the layout ease of use and format of this app For those reasons I may actually keep using it So instead of giving it the worst rating I will bump it up to two stars for those reasons But The snow forecast is actually terrible So far this year and last it has been so far off that it isn t even marginally reliable Now I could forgive this app if it was forecasting the same thing as NOAA and other apps but they have gone rogue They typically forecast days where we will receive 6 12 inches of snow NOAA and others will say 1 2 inches The others are always right and this has yet to be accurate Please get the forecast in line with others because what you are using clearly isn t even close FWIW I live on the Wasatch back         Terrible forecast zrichter02

App barely lets me log in to my account When I am logged in app crashes when I try and access my favorites Please fix Email alerts are great but would love an app instead of accessing your webpage which isn t that easy to navigate either     Keeps freezing crashing MajM916

The app works great if you only want to search resorts but if you want to search say the White Mountains in the Appalachian Mountain Range you have to visit their desktop site You can access ranges and ravines on the desktop site but not on the app It s would be nice if they could add that feature to the app I m a backcountry skier and sometimes after you leave base camp you still want to be able to check reports         Cannot search an area or mountain range Decoy DeVille

It is a toss up if one should use Safari or this app on the iPad mini The site gives great reports giving expected snow amounts instead of maximum possible that NOAA gives It uses NOAA data to do their forecast and so it is about 10 hours behind It also gives top mid bottom which can be hard to get at NOAA clicking on their map It gives longer forecasts and more 2 day detail if things go as expected for subscribers                     Great reports dayhiker9

The old app was tolerable Maybe a 3 star The new isn t even worthy of 1 star I ve still not successfully logged into the app because 95 of the time the login button is inactive Updating countries and resorts crashes the app Basically it s unusable Which is frustrating given that I pay for 6 months to a year at a time for their subscriptions An app this bad should be embarrassing It s not like they re delivering an MVP this was a reboot of the already existing app     Latest update ruined the app l1ghtcap

Just awful New update deleted all my favorites the search function is a huge pain to use and the word countries is actually spelled wrong in the main menu I mean come on countrties Really Definitely indicative of the developer s attention to detail Please fix this glitchy mess and get it back to something useful     Ugh karalaughs

First this app should default to viewing Favorites list if there are favorites not Nearby resorts The I ve used the website for several years and its pretty accurate While this app gives you identical snow forecasts the temperature and wind forecast reported by the app is different from the data on the website and is not very accurate or useful Really guys How hard is it to put the same 6 day forecast data in the app Thats all I want Thanks             Data doesn t fully match Brian-123

You have to register and login to get details They don t provide a link or option to create an account from the ap and I don t think it s cool to have to login in the first place Bummed and switching to another ap         Bummed on log in feature B Liddell

Too bad this could be nice But first you have to pay to download the app and than you need to pay to get full usage of the features Don t spend the money There are better free sites to get information about you favorite ski resort     Could be good RAM-I

Hello I buy over one year ago this app especially for European snow maps They Stole snow maps once version 2 0 is out Give me the maps back or refound     You Stole our Snow Maps vectranos

I have 4 different snow forecast apps on my phone but this is the only one that accurately forecasts SkiBowl on Mt Hood PacNW weather is tricky and the snow rain line often cuts across the middle of SkiBowl runs This app nails it with the base mid top forecasts Every time the other apps say all snow or all rain this app gets it right Most apps depend on reports this one seems to be based on forecasts and freezing snow levels                 Most accurate PDX Paulie

All the ski areas in my favorites have all been inaccurate Namely the Pacific Northwest USA The writing is too small and cluttered to be read without a magnifying glass It would be nice if they made the snow photos smaller or delete them all together so that they would have more room for larger text and a less cluttered looked to the information I like the overall idea and the data they are trying to show us but it still needs some work         Inaccurate Nivaun

I love the website for Snow Forecast but the app is lacking much It s slow not very accurate graphics are grainy and app is too cluttered I wouldn t reccommend the app to anyone it s free to use their website but you have to pay to use the app that has less information is harder to navigate and is poorly built I am not being biased but if you re looking for a good snow report app look to Ski Report It s been a great app with live cams and people that are reporting current conditions This app may be better in the future but isn t worth the money by far right now         Currently not impressed TyAnderson

I was hoping to be able to compare the local resorts close to Seattle For my favorite resort Steven s pass the app is reporting snow depth of 64 52 and no snow since 24th Feb Official data is 141 108 and there has been lots of snow almost every day in the last 8 days probably 5 6 ft of it when a ski resort gets 24 overnight you want to hear about it Future 6 day forecast does not align with National weather service forecast for Pass What a waste of money     The data for WA state USA is days out of date TahoeW
