The images here but not on their website show a google talk tab I can t see any way to activate it It isn t even present in my version of the app so far as I can tell Also this is basically a window to a browser rather than a stand alone app Imagine a buch of cropped browser windows running the mobile version of the site on your desktop So this is basically cellphone screen windows on your desktop         Can t enable features shown in picture Amberleigh Paisley

I was excited to find this listed in the App Store as I am trying to juggle a dozen accounts for different businesses and purposes However I was disappointed that after promptly plopping down my money there was no evident way to handle multiple accounts at the same time What I found was basically a smaller screen but essentially the same as juggling things in the internet browser Ahhh I will keep looking Disappointedly             I can t find the multiple account features BigC2222

I only use this for Facebook and Twitter so I can t speak to it s qualities with the other services it supports but for FB and Twitter it is pretty good My only complaint is that I wish it used the rendering engines from either Safari or Firefox and supported their extensions I hate the fact that I am back to being forced to deal with Facebook s ad s as opposed to using a browser with an ad blocker installed                 Decent for FB and Twitter LDMartin1959

Most things work ok for me but one that doen t is watching enbeded video It starts to play then the whole app creashes There don t seem to be a email address to wrote to thier support not so good             somethings not working sobokuone

This is a fantastic app but often logs me out even when I have not exited out of the app Sometimes it logs me out of only Facebook and I have to re log in Other times the app will log me out of Facebook Twitter and Gmail For example right now the app just logged me out of all three but didn t log me out of Google so it s sporadic This is definitely a 5 star app for what it does but it s aggravating to use right now when it can t keep me logged in Please developer could you please fix this bug ASAP                 Great app but keeps logging out rking05

Used to be a favorite app but recently it will NOT stay logged into Google and it s really annoying to have to constantly re login It seems the developer has abandoned this app and further development I hope that s not true             No more updates DangRabbit

I decided to write another review because the app s behavior has changed When it s working properly I love it but lately it has been misbehaving It keeps logging me out of Facebook when I did not tell it to For twitter I had it logged into one of my two accounts but all of a sudden it switched to the other without my doing so Please take the time to fix the bugs I m thinking about uninstalling it if things do not change             Great When it Works but Buggy Tori516

Loved this app when I got it back in August 2011 now it is horrible It used to allow me to d google talk and now it just allows me to check my gmail email which I can do using mail do not need the app for that I needed it for google talk I also used it for facebook and twitter I kept it becasue of facebook and twitter and now the app will not open at all so its a worthless app and I would stay away     doesnt work Guzmanmc

When looking at activity monitor it s using 850 4 MB of RAM that s 8 times MORE than Finder uses 7 times more than Flash Player uses I have a 2 7 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB of RAM If i were to quit Social Pro I would reclaim almost 1 GB of RAM PLUS I have noticed that the longer it runs the more RAM it eats up FIx this Memory Leak and I will give 5 stars Outside of the above issue AWESOME work guys keep it up             Great Program BUT dalton.shackelford

I ve really enjoyed this app It does most but not all that I need for social networking Unfortunately I was dismayed that they are no longer providing updates via the Mac App Store Plus this version now has an annoying add for the newer version which you can only buy via thier website Boo I live and work across multiple Mac s and I ve found the Mac App Store to be an incredible valuable solution for access my applications across different machines I ll be looking else where now for a similar product         Was pretty good but no more AppStore Chris Lavender

What I was looking for was a tool to prevent me from having numerous pinned tabs in a browser open all the time or numerous menu bar apps to represent each social network This app fits my needs Requested features Have more than one Gmail tab so I can keep open both my personal and google apps mail pages and receive notifications for both without constantly switching Allow control of notifications per tab on off statuses dm s etc For those that have will complain that they don t need another web shell app read the description look at the screenshots and then don t install it seriously                 Fits strvmarv

so I took the bait I upgraded on THEIR SITE to version 2 0 They were kind enough to give me a coupon code thank you but it seems they might not have tested this on 10 6 8 its VERY VERY VERY crash hang prone speaking of v2 0 specifically Version 1 x had a ton of issues sharing its preferences between apps with other social apps by them social for twitter social lite etc but now with v2 0 I m getting my system frozen by system processes sometimes google specific ones Please dont cower to the review system on the App Store it urges forces you to better your software fix bugs etc its harsh but aids in refining software if the developer is responsive I appreciated the coupon code for the upgrade to v2 0 though would have preferred to upgrade on the appstore for MORE but have had to restove version 1 10 just to prevent constant crashes and the login for google plugin just hanging perpetually Seriously get back on the appStore it will force you to better your software if you heed the feedback in the reviews     I just upgraded to v2 0 from THEIR SITE now more broken than EVER on 10 6 8 Higzer0

I bought this in Oct 2011 for the purpose of having my social media accounts easily accessible in one spot For about 2 weeks it worked great and I didn t have to go on the web to log into anything Closer to the end of October none of the tabs would refresh except for Facebook I thought that since this is a PAID app there would be an update to fix this because everything was once working properly Nearly 3 months later and no update to fix any of the issues and the developers put out a 2 0 version that s suppose to iron out the issues that the app has and the only way to get it is to PAY again through their website That s HIGHWAY ROBBERY I already paid 4 for this app to do what it s advertised to do and now I ll have to pay again in order to get it to work 100 when it s suppose to work in the first place You guys are running a SCAM Don t buy anything from these THIEVES     Don t buy anything from these SCAMMY people Jupiter Ascendant

I often have to force close this app and restart it as it is really buggy and tends to not load properly Also for google chat I have noticed that the most common people I talk to now show up as unavailable literally marking them as offline And i do not have them blocked or anything since I see everyone online when I load into gmail or when they message me Rather annoying that the most talked to people are blackballed             Great Concept Poor Delivery Keonar

I originally gave this app 4 stars but since then the app has had a few bugs since then It s still the best app for compbining google facebook and twitter so I don t have to be running 3 apps at once but I have issues with Google logging out or freezing and notifications have pretty much stopped working all togther But I d use this app over Tab for Facebook and such             Getting There Got Better jomurgel

This app worked great the first day Now when I use it all of the tabs but Facebook are completely blank and will not refresh Only Facebook is refreshing content The other tabs don t even show old content from G Twitter or Gmail They re just empty pages I hope this bug gets fixed soon how quickly a seemingly great app becomes completely useless A paid one nonetheless         Nothing but FB is loading JCMusco

This app is absolutely awesome I can jump from gmail to facebook to gtalk to twitter without having to clutter up my web browser tabs or my desktop space It s also great that it consolidated all these platforms so I don t have to get 4 or 5 different apps However the app froze on me quite a few times in the 2 days that I ve been using it So I don t know if it means there are bugs or something Anyway the rest of my mac works fine when Social Pro is frozen so I tried to force quit the app However since it is only an icon in the menu bar which I quite like except for this problem there s no way for me to force quit since I can t click it at all When I open up force quit from the apple symbol menu Social Pro does not show up either So if I wanted to use Social Pro I would have to restart my computer and reload everything I have open just so I can facebook or check my mail It s almost more convenient to open up all those pages in a web browser instead which defeats the purpose of the app So if this problem can be fixed somehow I would definitely give it 5 stars But right now the number of times it s crashing and the inconvenient way of fixing it is just far too troublesome             Great except for a few but severe problems alice_m

Okay I m already in love I barely took 30 seconds to set up my accounts and with one sweeping glance I knew it had every feature I wanted The networks are basically the mobile versions which means I get the live feed on my Facebook Google and Twitter plus notifications when someone messages posts to me directly But my favorite is the email I am a heavy emailer and now having ONE app open for all my social networks AND email is just amazing The only issue right now is that when I change a setting in the preferences I click OK and then the entire window disappears and the application quits I m contacting the developer now but otherwise this app is the real deal                     BEST all in one app I ve found Jovi Becky

I wasn t expecting much after reading the reviews but it turned out to be awesome although this is the only experence I ve had with an App like this The program itself is relatively light weight average memory use is around 120 MB fast and responsive I mainly bought it for the gchat features in browser chat is a pain but I ve been using both facebook chat and gmail quite a bit I ve only had the program for a couple hours but I haven t had any problems with the chat features that other people have mentioned Gmail works well too I m hoping it ll replace Mail for everything except writing emails One VERY minor complaint is that the menu icon is ugly It s too small to really tell what it is and ends up looking like a Rorschach test Also I should mention if you plan on using twitter you re going to want to change it s notification preferences The default has it refresh every 30 seconds which means every 30 seconds you ll get a ding telling you about new tweets As far as features I d love to see in the future the ability to facebook video chat and Skype support I understand that this program mainly relies on the mobile versions of these networks but maybe they ll figure something out note I tested the program with a MacBook Pro running OSX Lion 10 7 1                     Awesome donotswallow

I use this at work and at home on two separate iMacs I see it crashing on both I ve tried reinstalling it too it s just unstable I use gmail a lot and with multiple accounts between multiple users my fiance uses Chrome I use Social Pro But I make myself put up with a LOT of caveats that I shouldn t have to 1 Crashing Like at least once a week and when it does I lose my draft which has been a real pain on occasion 2 It s the mobile interface for Gmail It looks and walks and talks like the mobile Gmail interface and for that reason alone I get really irate when I want to use some features of gmail on my desktop It s a mail client you sold me I should be able to do attachments or paste images inline into my emails I really don t like that I can t here 3 Needs customizable support for different features I realize that I m paying for a social toy box but I don t use this application for Facebook I d like it to not show up at the top tab It d be nice to turn off or add new features to keep some value with this I realize no one uses MySpace but seriously Google isn t here It should be or at least be updateable to have whatever features we do and do not want to use Also I d love to see some Google Reader and Tumblr love I share stories and read stuff from both of those and neither one is anywhere to be found             Loads of crashing Still valuable for Growl like notifications though ajservo

Over all the app does what it says I am not going to grip too much because for the price I think you get a lot I think I could have stayed with the free version I tried out google chat and just didn t seem to like it as much as using another chat program that I have You can access email quickly and reply quickly if needed I don t really care for the FB navigation The app doesn t always alert new messages like it should but works most of the the time One of the annoyances that I have is when opening the window if a new alert comes in for either FB or Gmail the window will close Very frustrating when that does happen It doesn t render the app useless but if you get a lot of messages it could become a problem I think the app is on the right track but just needs some clean up around the functionality a bit             Not really as awesome as expected mswallace

Do NOT waste your money on this one Forgets passwords and logs out of FB and no it is not a keychain issue I get 403 Forbidden Rate Limit Exceeded error all the time with Twitter Twitter does work OK when I do not get this error I have deleted all and re installed 3 times no help Sent two emails to support which if you note is not even a real web page Just an ad with a link This was 10 days ago Not even a form acknowledegment Give it a pass     Useless and no support Costa Rica Expat
