Were forced to use this App on our IPads at my college It is pathetic Must first suffer through overly complicated steps with very inadequate directions just to take the test Then it does not just upload the test when you are finished like you would expect but instead I receive pestering notifications until I specially open the app again at a later time just to allow it to upload my test Absolutely pathetic When we take tests on this app our entire lecture hall goes into mayhem and all the professors look like idiots If you are an educator I DO NOT recommend using this app     Pathetic

This software is terrible It changes your answers     Bad software

Please work with Apple to fix the iOS 8 guided access glitch otherwise this app will remain completely useless for students Its totally unreasonable to assume users will not upgrade to the latest OS     No guided access broken app

As if exams werent stressful already this thing makes taking them a million times worse I want my school fee money back for purchasing this Very frustrating     I HATE THIS APP

Every now and then I get quite a bit of lag between switching questions but other than that I have had no issues with it Very easy to use and allows for a positive exam taking experience The one improvement I would like to see is a highlight feature for the iPad version I know the PCMac version has that feature and it would be useful on iPad as well              Overall a good app

With the new ios 8 update I will not be able to take my exams please fix the glitch that allows guided access to work once it is fixed i will change my rating Thank you     No tests on my iPad with iOS 8

We have to use this app for school exams and it has been nothing but a nightmare It has to be updated almost weekly which is a pain because it will kick you out of exams if you dont update I have used this app on about 7 exams so far and I have been kicked out of exams three times twice after updating and this last exam never uploaded so admin at our school has to pull the exam straight from my iPad This is about par with my 130 classmates At least 20 of the class had had major problems during or after exams This is exceedingly stressful when you are in a professional program and are losing valuable time having to use tech support during your timed exam Also Admin also has trouble extracting grades so it is apparently problematic at the other end as well We expected to get grades back faster with computer based exams but it takes twice as long in some classes because they have so many problems with the app Until all the bugs are fixed I do not recommend this app If you are an admin please dont do this to your students Paper works great     Forced to use this

This app is needs tons of improvement Text only tests are ok but accessing attachments needs to be improved     Horrible

Please fix this Taking a test with this app on an iOS8 ipad was terrible Everytime I tried to strike out an answer it froze and crashedleaving me terrified every time that my test had been erased Some others were Edit I look forward to trying the new fixes out on Friday Then I will update my review        iOS8 glitches

This app seems to be working okay still crashes The biggest complaint my peers and I have is that the exam review must be done immediately following the exam After taking a four hour medical school exam nobody wants to be sequestered for an additional hour of test review Please come up with a way to review exams securely at a later time Maybe give it a password to reenter review mode Seems like this shouldnt be too hard        Need to find a better way to Review Exams

This test taking software works great for what I need it to do It is easier to download exams than on my laptop and it works well all the time                 Anonymous

Software wants to have full access to your photo library for you to take an exam Developers of educational software should not go digging into peoples personal files     Privacy issues

I prefer this app to the computer version for the following reasons Touch screen is more user friendly Less garbagedistraction on screen Allows user to stay logged in Test taking is very intuitive Ive also heard of the computer app messing with the configurationsettings of a computer and making it run slower Havent personally experienced it My only complaint is that you cannot highlight important info in a question on the app like you can on the computer              Better than computer version

We were an early user of this app since we give iPads to our med students Previously our students were using the laptops that we gave them It was less for the students as the iPad was easier than dragging around the larger laptops plus with the longer battery life few students needed a power plug A major difference was the screen resolution It is a much better experience with images as a posed to the student laptops The security feature was impressive as well as we had a jail broken iPad that system flagged when it recognized the issue The app is mandatory now for testing We had given our class that first only used laptops to use either version Many said that they wanted to keep using the laptop for testing However by the end of that year we only had three students unsung laptops because the rest preferred the iPads to view the images Overall it has been a solid product for us                 Good option

I like the fact that the tests are electronic and I get the fact that it is very beneficial to administrators but it is still not great for students There are a lot of problems that arent being addressed or at least in a timely fashion It seems that the students needs arent even considered 1 There are many times when things go wrong during tests The onscreen keyboard has ceased to work during multiple of my tests 2 The exam reviewor lack thereofis horrible As a med student using this for test it is a NECESSITY to be able to see the questions that are missed and the answer choice that I chose afterwards in a controlled environment 3 Picture sizes need to be adjustable There are only 2 available sizes The first is a small 2 or 3 inch window where you cant see any of the picture The second is a full screen option where you cant see the question stem or the answers Needs to be an inbetween        needs work

SoftestM is very impressive especially for a version 1 The interface was very intuitive and the images are stunning in this format Some solid engineering look forward to future releases                 Very well done

There has not been a test yet where the program has ran smoothly Every time there is a new issue Needs either a highlighter tool or a scratchout tool to use on the actual question text It would also be nice to be able to make notes on each question Hopefully examsoft will come out with some much needed improvements before the school year is over     So many issues with this product
