Have always liked Spiegel but the app makes it readily available App functions well is easy to use and facile Spiegel news reporting usually presents different aspects and more depth than most sources It is especially helpful as a European news perspective source if you live in the United States                 Must have app for anyone fluent in German

Der Spiegel is an ok weekly but electronic version gets updated Therefore news are more current It used to be more of a hard hitting paper then nowadays but given the general lack of truly independent journalism Spiegel aint too bad           Nice app

Die App ist schöner als die mobile Site und nutzt mit dem swipe der Video Gallerie nach links und rechts auch echte iOS interface Funktionen Mir scheinen aber die Ladezeiten je Artikel eine Tick länger als auf der mobile Seite evtl nur subjekive Wahrnehmung durch die Laden Einblendung Außerdem ist die Pack Go Funktion zum Speichern fürs Offline Lesen zwar eine super Idee aber ganz schlecht implementiert Wer hat schon Lust sich vorher jeden einzelnen Artikel umständlich abzuspeichern Ich will einen Knopf drücken einen Moment warten und dann den gesamten Spiegel oder zumindest definierte Ressorts gespeichert haben und in Ruhe in der UBahn lesen Bitte nachbessern        Schöner als mobile Version Pack Go leider ein Flop

This newspaper deserves a much better app The navigation and design of the app are terrible It is a zillion times better to go to the mobile version of their website than using this app The only reason I and probably most of the other folks having this app are the breaking news push notifications Activate them and thats it Hide the app somewhere deep inside a folder and never open it again When I saw the 20 update I was exited to see if they improved the app but it is the same crap different day Not even an iPhone 6 resolution is integrated It seems to me like a single student is programming this app Der Spiegel with its great content which I read everyday deserves so much better Get the app done by a real agency Take a look at NYT etc     Terrible App SpOn Deserves Better

Whatever Spiegel did with this app recently it ruined an otherwise great app You cant go back from an article to the home page without freezing the app Only when you cancel the spinning wheel does the functionality come back The functionality for writing reviews on articles doesnt work anymore Many pictures you could click on in the past are not expandable anymore Spiegel get this fixed     Terrible
